Do What I Say (Tadashi x Reader)
Recess. Every kid's favorite part of the school day. You ran out to the playground and climbed on a swing, only to be faced with a mean-looking fifth grader. "Get off," he said rudely.
"I was here first," you retorted in your first-grade voice.
"Well, I'm older, so I should go first." The fifth grader pushed you off the swing. You stumbled away sadly.
You attempted to join in a game of four-square with a bunch of boys in your class, but they said "no girls allowed."
You failed to participate in a round of hopscotch with some snobby-looking girls because "you had cooties."
Well, I don't like you either, you thought angrily, and turned away. Immediately, something flew into your face, knocking you to the ground. Your elbows stung, and you opened your eyes to see a basketball rolling away.
"Are you okay?" a voice said. You looked up to see a boy your age. He was probably in some other teacher's class.
You didn't bother to reply, only got up and dusted your hands and knees.
"Did I hurt you?" the boy asked again.
"No," you replied, and began to walk away. He ran after you. "Do you want me to help you?" He had neat black hair and big brown eyes.
"I'm okay, really," you muttered, shrugging him away.
"But now your hands and face are all dirty." He took your smudged hand and dragged you into the boy's restroom.
"Let go of me! I can't go into the boys' restroom!" You wrenched your hand free as he took you into the land of urinals.
"I go into the ladies' restroom with my mom all the time," the boy protested.
"That's different." But you let him scrub your hands and wash your face with a soaked paper towel. When he was done, you said, "Thanks. . ."
"Tadashi," the boy replied, throwing the towels away. "Tadashi Hamada."
Soon some teacher barged in and yelled at you for going into the boys' restroom. But it didn't matter, since you and Tadashi were in it together.
(TWELVE YEARS LATER)
"I beat you again," Tadashi smirked, leaning back again the couch.
"Yeah, because I suck at this game," you shot back. "Rematch."
You and Tadashi were eighteen now, best friends ever since he dragged you into the boys' bathroom. He still had the neat black hair and brown eyes. He usually had his cap on, but today, it was perched on your head.
Tadashi sighed, but both of you started the video game again. Halfway through, Tadashi suddenly said, "Hey, (Y/N)."
"Yeah?" You were concentrating on the video game.
"You remember the deal?" Tadashi said, his eyes glued on the screen.
"Yeah." Tadashi had made a deal on whoever lost the most games had to do whatever the winner said. It seemed fair, so you agreed.
You swerved, narrowly avoiding a cactus. "Geez, you could've at least chose a game I'm actually decent at."
Tadashi laughed as he pulled into 1st Place. "Okay, (Y/N), now you have to do whatever I say."
"This is not fair," you grumbled, but you put down your controller and turned to face him.
"Okay, close your eyes," Tadashi instructed.
"You're not going to tickle me, are you?" you yelped, scrambling away. Tadashi grabbed your ankles and pulled you back on the couch towards him. He pushed you into a laying position. "Stay still. You have to do what I say, remember?"
"Okay, but if you tickle me, I swear, I will kick you and run." You held your arms over your stomach protectively.
Tadashi rolled his eyes, and crouched over you to make sure you didn't move. You eyed him distrustfully.
"Now, close your eyes," Tadashi said.
"No," you said when you saw a smirk curl on Tadashi's lips.
"Do it!" Tadashi crawled closer.
"No!"
"Fine, if you say so." Tadashi grabbed your chin and tilted your head towards him. Before you could react, he pressed his lips against yours, then pulled away, laughing. He leaped off of you and ran for the bedroom.
You were stunned into silence. Then you sat up. "Tadashi!" You ran for the bedroom door and pounded on it. "Open this door right now."
Tadashi was laughing uncontrollably on the other side. He was holding it shut.
"Come on, open the door," you whined like a little kid. Tadashi flung it open, still laughing. You punched him in the arm. "Tadashi, what was that for?"
He stopped laughing. "What? You had to do what I said, so I did it. What's the big deal?" He shrugged.
It was your turn to grin evilly. You pulled off the San Fransokyo Ninjas cap off your head and pointed it at him. "'Fess up, Hamada."
Tadashi blushed. "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Yes, you do!"
"Okay, fine. IreallylikedyoufromwhenwefirstmetinlikefirstgradeandIstilldo." Tadashi quickly closed the door again.
"Tadashi!"
