Journal Entry #9
"I don't have time to worry if it's right or wrong. You can't hope for a horror story with a happy ending."
I have never felt the desire to kill anyone.
That was a lie.
Did you perhaps believe me for a moment? Was there a single hint of curiosity when you read those words that I had written down with the sole purpose of tricking you?
I wake up every day and think of people that deserve to die. I believe most humans on the planet are worthy of death..but does that mean that I want to kill them? Absolutely not. Why would I go out of my way to do something so tedious and, ultimately, meaningless?
No, you and I both know it is not in my character to go out of my way just to wish harm on someone.
Humans are rather stupid.
They say one thing and do another--they make rules, only to break them in later years...One thing I have observed in my time as a captive in this hell is that it would only take one swift blow...and humanity would fall--vanish as though it had never existed in the first place.
But, humans believe they are the strongest thing on the planet...they think their intellect is something to behold...when, in reality, they are lambs waiting to be slaughtered.
Humans have a tendency to tell themselves what they want to hear..to the point that they believe it to be true and anything that may contradict them...is evil.
Pathetic.
All of them are pathetic...completely unaware of the storm that is coming...the people that they call friends who are just waiting to strike and finally end them once and for all.
I don't particularly care about that, though. When it comes to which side wins in this secret war....It is of little consequence to me.
As long as those two morons keep their mouths shut.

Your eyes were cold and calculated as you stared at the moving ground beneath you, body tense as every nerve in your body stood on end.
Levi had been quiet since the two of you left the castle, only occasionally sparing you a glance, probably to check up on you and ensure that you were not doing anything that may resemble trying to escape.
You weren't an idiot, though.
Levi was the strongest human soldier that fact hadn't left your mind even once since you met him and you didn't have enough power to fight him right now.
He'd kill you instantly.
Although you didn't particularly care about dying, if there was a way you could make it out alive, you'd most certainly try to find it as dying was less than ideal.
Your hands gripped the reigns tightly, e/c eyes slowly raising to stare at the back of the raven-haired man's head.
You weren't surprised to find his steely, gray eyes already locked onto yours, sending you a glare that was certainly mean to intimidate you. It annoyed you how this man looked at you as though he knew all your secrets.
Your brows raised as he suddenly halted, turning his horse to face you straight on.
"Your powers," He started. "They are fueled by the sun, correct?"
You stayed silent, face not giving him any sign of a response.
His eyes narrowed.
"Show me."
"No."
"I wasn't asking," He gritted. "This is an order from your captain. You are my cadet-"
"I am your prisoner." You interrupted. "I owe you nothing. No explanation and certainly no display."
You watched as he grabbed a knife from his waist pocket, shoving it in your direction.
"You won't kill me." You deadpanned, "You can't."
He reached forward, knife slicing the skin underneath your right eye, drawing blood.
You didn't flinch at his actions, but, for the first time, your eyes widened.
Levi smirked at your reaction, his silver eyes shining as he moved his gaze upwards, glancing around at your surroundings.
"I won't kill you," He started. "Not until you prove to be useless. But I will hurt you, a lot. Now, show me."
Your eyes narrowed, blood dripping down your face.
The wound was sure to scar.
The entire situation was annoying. Not only because you would be forced to give out more information to the captain you'd come to hate, but also because it meant one of two things; Either the captain was bluffing and trying to get a message across...or he was strong enough to take you down if you tried anything...Either case would be quite a disadvantage.
If he was bluffing, that made him a good liar.
If he wasn't...He was stronger than you'd given him credit for.
You slowly raised your hand, giving him a hard glare.
"Not there." He interrupted, motioning towards the more heavily shaded area. "There."
You rolled your eyes, his persistence quickly beginning to get on your nerves.
You were usually the nonchalant type, but this man had a way of getting under your skin.
You dismounted your horse, walking towards the shaded area.
You'd give him a small show, nothing that would actually be of any help to him.
"I don't need to remind you," He started, pulling his green cloak back to reveal his ODM gear. "That, if you try anything, I will kill you."
You didn't acknowledge his words verbally, instead opting to give him a glare, which he returned with equal fury.
You slowly raised your hand, placing it onto the trunk of the large tree you stood next to.
Levi watched your every move closely, his hands twitching with the need to grab at the handles of his gear.
You clenched your jaw as you allowed your power to flow through your body, the cool traveling from the center of your chest to the tips of your fingers, flowing out and manifesting around the lower half of the tree.
The stoic-faced captain would be lying if he said he didn't feel despair pulse through him at the sight of the ice wrapping around the trunk with ease, the usually beautiful sight causing nothing but hatred.
You pulled your hand away, not even bothering to look at the ice before moving back towards your horse.
"Stop." He said, eyes finally leaving the ice. "Again."
You couldn't stop your jaw from clenching.
"You said-"
"You expect me to believe that a little ice is all you can do?" He asked. "After what we saw the other night, I believe you're hiding your real potential from us."
"I'll not be made into a weapon." You deadpanned. "Whatever you humans think I can do to help--I won't do it."
"Maybe not willingly." He hummed. "But you'll help humanity, even if you are against it. Now, show me more. Something different than the weakness you are hoping to fool me with. Let me see the best you've got, monster."
This man.
You'd never cared much for anything--certainly not enough to get so angry, but Captain Levi was certainly a different story.
You'd be sure to get even.
You took a step forward, the cold sensation once again trailing towards your fingertips, but, this time, also extending to the center of your palm.
You swiftly shot your hand up, a grunt escaping your lips as you dug into the reserves of your stored energy, head aching as it was quickly drained from you.
The Scout Captain couldn't stop his eyes from widening as a large, curved wall of ice formed in front of him, extending above the tree line and curving down, hanging high over your heads and blocking the view of the sun.
Your chest heaved as you tried to keep your breathing under control. That had taken more out of you than you'd anticipated...That and the fact that you haven't used your powers in a while caused your head to ache even more than before.
"Impressive." Levi breathed out, turning to look at you. "But we can't have a giant ice wall in the middle of the forest. Take it down."
Your brow twitched in annoyance.
"I can't." You lied.
He hummed at your response, sending you a stern look.
Your body tensed as he dismounted his own horse, walking over towards you, face unreadable.
He was going to attack you.
And you were foolish enough to use your power.
You readied yourself as he walked towards you, slowly raising his hand.
You clenched both of your hands into fists, right foot moving forward as you prepared to spar with him.
You blinked in surprise as a soft cloth met the skin of your cheek, wiping off the blood that dripped from the cut on your cheek.
"Lying doesn't suit you," He deadpanned. "No matter how good you may believe yourself to be at it."
You jerked back from his touch, eyes narrowing on him suspiciously.
He tsk'd, rolling his eyes before reaching forward and gripping your chin, pulling your back towards him.
You glared as he continued to wipe the blood for your face.
"You won't be walking around filthy," He spat. "What would you do if your blood got on your cloak?"
"I suppose I wouldn't care." You countered with equal hatred.
"I suppose you wouldn't." He confirmed, pulling the cloth from you as he inspected your newly cleaned face. "But there are countless people who have died for these colors. You should feel honored to even be asked to wear them...Rejecting them because of your pride was like spitting on their graves."
Your eyes narrowed as you jerked away from his grip, remaining silent.
He tsk'd again, shaking his head as he mounted his horse again, motioning for you to do the same.
"I suppose today wasn't a total loss," He started. "I've learned quite a few things a value. For instance, the fact that you can not only manipulate the shape of ice as you create it, but also that you can control it after you've already made it...and you, more than likely, can dissolve whatever you create. I imagine Hanji will be happy to learn of this."
You climbed on your horse, keeping your composure.
"Maybe next time, I'll learn why you looked at my cadets like they were your worst fear." He continued.
Your eyes widened at that, head snapping over to look at him.
He kicked the sides of his horse.
"I see everything." He deadpanned.
"You'd do well to remember that."
