*Hello fellow readers! I was just wondering how you guys were enjoying this. Please let me know if I should keep going or not. Enjoy this chapter*

// Castiel's POV

The sunrise seeped through the old curtains, filling the room with blue, purple lights.

Castiel clenched his eyes tightly, trying to stop the light from getting to him but he couldn't.

He groaned and slowly opened his eyes and sat up.

"And I'm still alive. . .great." He sighed and ran his hands through his hair. Castiel slowly go tout of bed and got into the shower-- which had the water pressure of a dripping faucet.

Castiel stayed in that shower until the water went cold-- which was about five minutes.

He wandered back into his small room and grabbed what few extra clothes, which consisted of green and blue shirts and a red sweater. Cas usually dressed in layers.

He grabbed a random sketchbook from his coffee table and his bag containing his pencils and things before heading out towards the park, humming a soft tune to himself.

// Dean's POV

Dean had just finished dropping off Sam at his school and was now driving towards the park. He had brought his camera with him as usual and his guitar. He was hoping to get some extra cash for a pie or something, seeing as Sam wouldn't let him spend the money he earned the other day on anything.

Dean parked his Impala by a building and walked the rest of the way, strumming his guitar the entire way.

Once he finally arrived he sat at his regular bench and sat with his guitar in his lap, and his camera in his bag over his shoulder, wondering what to play. Two benches across from him was a man sitting down, drawing something in the small book in his hands. It was the same man who was painting the other day.

Dean smirked and played random notes on his guitar, trying to catch his attention. But he was completely ignored. So what did he do next? He got up and walked towards the man.

Dean stood behind him and looked down at his picture, from closer inspection, Dean saw the man was drawing the birds in front of him, eating pieces of bread off the floor. Dean smiled and started playing a tune on his guitar, causing the man to jump and the birds to fly away.

The man turned around and glared at him.

"So I'm guessing you think this is funny?" He asked, his voice deep and gravely. His eyes were exceptionally blue and for a split second, Dean could've sworn he found something to take a picture of.

"S-sorry. I thought you would enjoy my music." Dean pouted.

"Well if your so called 'music' consists of you playing random notes, then no, I did not enjoy your music." He said rolling his eyes.

Dean gasped and walked over so he was standing in front of the stranger.

"It was not just some random notes! I was actually playing a song."

The man smirked and quirked an eye brow.

"Prove it."

"Fine." Dean smirked in return.

He sat next to the stranger and positioned his guitar on his lap, ready to play. The stranger eyed him carefully as Dean opened his mouth and began to sing.

"Oh I'm a mess right now, inside out.

Searching for a sweet surrender but this is not the end. . .

I can't work it out, how?

Going through the motions, going through us. . ." Dean sang, looking down at his hands to see what strings to play. A few people had begun to notice him singing and were standing there to watch.

// Castiel's POV

Cas knew this song well. He had no idea how he didn't recognize it when he had played the tune.

"And though I've known it for the longest time and all of my hope all of my words are all over written on the signs when you're on my road walking me home, home, home, home, home. . .

See the flames inside my eyes, it burns so bright I wanna feel your love

Easy baby, maybe I'm a liar

But for tonight I wanna fall in love. . ." He sang looking over at Cas with a smile. Castiel had begun to tap his foot with the rhythm of the song and he knew that at any moment he would break out into song.

"Put your faith in my stomach.

I messed up this time, late last night

Drinking to suppress devotion, fingers intertwined

I can't shake this feeling, now

We're going through the motions, hoping you'd stop."

And then Castiel was quietly singing along to himself with the guitar man.

"And though I've only cause you pain,

You know with all of my words will always be loved, although all the lies spoke

When you're on my road walking me home, home, home, home, home

See the flames inside my eyes

It burns so bright I wanna feel your love

Easy baby, maybe I'm a liar...but for tonight I wanna fall in love.

Put your faith in my stomach"

And then Castiel just couldn't hold it in anymore, so he stood started clapping to the beat and sang, swaying his hips. To his surprise, the people were actually pleased with it-- so was the guitar man as he sang along.

"And for how long I've loved my lover

For how long I loved my lover, now, now

For how long, long I loved my lover, now, now

For how long, long I loved my lover, now, now

For how long, long I loved my lover, now, now"

"And I feel love" Dean sang in the background.

"For how long, long I loved my lover, now, now" Cas sang, tapping his foot.

"Feel it all over now." Dean sang smiling and strumming his guitar happily.

"And I feel love"

"For how long, long I loved my lover, now, now"

"Feel it all over now"

"And I feel love"

"For how long, long, I loved my lover, now, now"

"Feel it all over now."

"And I feel love"

"For how long, long I loved my lover, now, now"

"Feel it all over now."

"And I feel love."

"For how long, long I loved my lover, now, now"

"Fell it all over now."

"And I feel love"

Dean slowly faded out and let Castiel sing by himself.

"For how long I loved my lover, now, now

"For how long, long I loved my lover...." He finished, out of breath and sat down.

They had a crowd of people surrounding them and soon they were all clapping. Something in Castiel told him that they had those astonished faces because they didn't think Castiel, looking the way he did, could sing. People started pulling money and change from their pockets and handing them to Dean.

Castiel looked over at the money he was receiving and smiled sadly to himself.

"Here mister!" A girl whispered. Castiel looked down and saw a small girl in a purple dress and pigtails, handing him change. It was just a few coins but it was something.

"Thank you." Cas smiled.

"My favorite part was when you started singing and dancing." She smiled widely. Cas thanked her again before her mother dragged her away.

The crowd slowly dispersed and only Cas and the guitar man were left.

"Told ya it was a real song and not random notes." The man said. "Nice moves by the way." He teased.

"Thank you." Castiel said as he closed his sketchbook and stood up to walk away, holding the change in his hand.

"Hey wait!"

Castiel turned and looked at the man with sandy blonde hair.

The man ran up to him, smiling and holding the money he earned in his hands.

"Here you deserve some of this." He said handing him some money.

"You don't have to. I have some. A little girl gave it to me." He tried to explain but he was cut off by the man's laughter.

"Yea that was probably like 15 cents, here, I insist." He smiled fondly and only then did Castiel realize how green the man's eyes were. They were amazing. Beautiful-- no, gorgeous! Cas could feel himself swooning.

"W-well if you insist." He sighed and took the money.

"Name's Dean." He winked causing Cas to blush-- damn Cas wasn't in high school anymore, he shouldn't blush, or swoon for that matter.

"Castiel." He said, returning the smile.

"Well Cas, I'll see you around." Dean ruffled his hair before walking back to the bench, grabbing his things and walking away.

Castiel looked down at his hands and counted the money.

Fifty. . .seventy. . .one-twenty. . .no. . .

Dean had given him three hundred dollars. How did they even earn that much?! How much did Dean keep?

Either way Castiel was thankful for the money, he could manage to pay a part of the rent. . .hopefully anyway. His landlord would probably just take the money and keep telling him he needed more, he always did that.

Castiel placed the money in his bag and walked away, softly singing to himself.

"For how long, long I loved my lover. . . "
