"What do you mean he got kidnapped?!" Sun's eyes grew larger when he learned about this morning's tragedy. Both Justin and Yoon skim at him, nodding in unison.

"What happened to him?" he later asks, pointing his finger towards Joon.

"He tried to save Jein but he got zapped," says Justin.

"What is that mean?" Sun asks again.

"Technically, the alien opens up his fucking brain and squeezes it until it becomes juice.." Byul explains.

All eyes are on her now, fill in terror.

"Ew, that's gross! And horrified!" Sun shrieks while brushing off his goosebump.

Byul frowns. He looks like a tough guy but no one expected him to have such a fainted heart!

"How did you guys know each other?" Yoon asks, after a long silence from him.

"We knew each other since Jein worked with Mountain Peek, as a weapon specialist. When he retired from Mountain Peek, we remain friends. We always meet and discuss new weapon technology. I am the leader of a team called Destroyer. So, we need to be updated about the latest 'gadget' in the market,"

The name of the team sounds familiar to Justin. Like he heard it before... somewhere...

He quickly jumps from the table where he sat just now and grabs the man's collar.

"Hey! Hey! Chill man! I got preggy wifey at home!" Sun backs off, trying to cover his neck with his hand.

"Don't get me wrong, mister. I just wanna make sure if you got that.." says Justin, his finger gesturing some kind of shape.

"That what?" asks Yoon with round eyes, too shocked by this young man's act.

"He told us that he is from a group called Destroyer. Doesn't it ring anything?" asks Justin.

"Hmmm.." Yoon tries his best to think.

"The fourth owner of the dog tag is named Destroyer," Justin reminds them.

And both Yoon and Byul nod their head with ahh and ooh exited from their mouth.

"Sorry, lots of things happen. Kinda like having short-term memory lost.." says Yoon.

"Let me ask you a few questions, mister.." Justin stares at Sun with a high peek curiosity.

"Just called me Sun. I am not that old."

"Okay, Sun... Have you ever seen this before?" Justin shows him the dog tag necklace. Sun came forward slowly. He looks at the dog tag carefully.

"Yeah, my brother wears one!" said Sun with a coarse, high pitch voice.

"Your brother?" Justin frowns.

"Yeah... actually he is my cousin, but more like a brother to me. I remember his mother gave it to him when he was still a baby. There's one incident happened and since then, he possessed the necklace. He never let it go, not even once," says Sun.

"And where is he right now?"

It's a foggy morning, somewhere around the Cosmos City.

A small figure is walking around a destroyed town, wearing a huge leather jacket with an electronic modern rifle at his back. He covers his face with the army green mask, showing only his grey-glistening eyes. He roams around the town, picking whatever he feels needed with his eyes aware of his environment like a hawk.

He then runs, hides behind those fallen walls from time to time.

He needs to be cautious because he knew the enemy is still roaming around, looking for opportunities to snatch or even kill any humankind that they saw.

He ducks up and down, just in case he finds anything or anyone he missed. Since this part of the town was attacked two weeks ago, he and his team try their best to gather as many people as possible, saving them from being the next victims.

Working as a nurse in a children's hospital makes him soft-hearted and full of empathy. Although the mission sounds deadly, these people are precious to him. That's why, he never hesitate to help everyone. Even if it means that he will constantly live in danger, he is willing to do that. Helping others is his lifetime mission, thus, those threats are nothing to him at all.

One more step and he almost exposed himself out too much, so he backs off a bit. He held his breath.

Two aliens roam around the area, like they knew there is a presence of humans there. This kind of alien looks like a human, with some alien features, like purple cornea and white-silver hair.

From what he saw for the past two weeks, they have two types of aliens, one is in human form and the other in alien form.

The alien; in alien form, has a pair of long legs like deer and quite larger eyes. This one, of course, can be killed easily because they don't possess any power, except they are good at weapons.

The troublesome one is the one in human form. They have some supernatural power that brings more harm to humans.

Too bad for him, he encounters the human form alien.

From his spot, he can see a small girl, hiding behind the rubble wall just across the spot. She looks scared as hell, sobbing behind those ruins alone 

How can we miss this girl? He grunts inside. He is so sure that he has already gathered everyone in this town.

He grabs the dog tag necklace that he wears, stares at the word EMPATHY craved on the other side of the dog tag necklace. He recites a prayer, kisses it, holds it in his palm, with eyes close shut.

Then, his eyes open slowly. This time, his expression changed.

He holds up his rifle on his shoulder and put the target on lock. He aims sharp at one of the aliens, fingers on lock. He controls his breath steadily and pulls the trigger once he exhales.

One alien down.

Without wasting more time, he rolls himself towards the scary girl.

"Hey... hey... I'm here, shush.." says him. The girl hugs him tight.

By now, probably the other one realizes that his friend just got shot. He skims around with his hunting instinct.

Now, where to run, huh?

"Are you hurt?" the girl shakes her head. He looks around one more time.

"Okay, on the count of three, we run towards that.." he points his finger towards the other side of the rubble wall. She nods her head.

"One... two.."

He grabs her hand and runs as fast as he can to the other side and hide behind the other ruins. They can't just run away like that. The alien must notice them right away.

Taking a break for a moment, he throws a pebble in the other direction to distract the alien. He can do that because the alien is alone. If they come in troops then it's a huge problem.

Let's pray that the alien remains alone.

"Ready?" he asks her. She nods.

"Go!" and they run again, this time to the other side. But the girl accidentally missteps, causing her to fall.

"Ah!" she yelps.

Worst case scenario!

He quickly snatch the girl and drags her towards him and hides at the other side.

Bad news for both of them.

Looks like the alien notices their presence based on the reaction. A load of bullets fly in their direction, making them flinch in fear.

It is a silent moment.

"Are you okay?" he asks the girl with a slight worry on his face.

"I can't walk. My feet hurt.." the small girl holds her ankle.

Now, he needs to change the gameplay.

He has no choice but to run as fast as he can, holding the girl in his embrace while exchanging shots with the alien. He musters his courage to save the girl and himself.

So, he dashes out from the hiding place with the girl in his embrace and a gun that blasts out millions of bullets.

But he trips on his own foot and falls onto the ground with the girl.

Maybe this is the end of all this...

He hugs the girl so tight, and close his eyes. Praying that the death is short and not painful. The sound of a blaster can be heard miles away. But he doesn't feel anything.

What a nice way to die, he thinks. His body feels numb, probably because he is scared of dying.

"Cygnus!" he hears someone call him.

Is this real or fantasy?

Slowly, he opens his eyes and checks his surroundings. From his spot, he sees a figure drops on the ground.

Looks like the alien is dead.

From afar, he can see a human form.

Ah, not one human form.

Five human forms walk towards him.
More like running, but at a slow pace. He stands up and let go of his mask. His pouty red-pink lips stutter for a while.

"Sun!!" the man hugs Sun tight. The little girl, too, hugged the big body in tears.

"Are you okay, brother?" Sun asks.

Cygnus nods. He looks at the rest of the people who walk towards them as well.

"Who are they?" he asks.

"Well.. guys, this is Cygnus. My brother. The owner of the dog tag necklace. Cygnus, this is the new team of Guardian..."

Cygnus' eyes get wider, and a smile forms from his face.

"Nice to meet you guys!"
