2 years.

It had been exactly 2 years since you last saw your boyfriend, Valt Aoi. All you did was live in silence, and kept going on with life. You were desperate to see him, after all it has been such a long time. You thought of calling this instant, he surprisingly picked up the call.

(Valt): Oh hey Y/N, how are things?
(Y/N): pretty much normal I guess, Valt, when will you visit me?
(Valt): I don't know yet, but you don't know how much I miss you Y/N.
(Y/N): I miss you too Valt, I wish I got to see you again.
(Valt): Same Y/N, hey I need to go now, I have an upcoming battle.
(Y/N): oh ok bye

Valt then hung up the call.

It devastated you that he hadn't even said goodbye.

"What happened to the little boy I had met when I was in kindergarten?"

Flashback:
Y/N was playing alone in the monkey bars, she didn't really have any friends, so she was really lonely, until a adorable little boy came to play with her.

"Hey, my name's Valt Aoi, you look super lonely, can I play with you?"

"Umm yeah why not, my name's Y/N L/N, so yeah let's play.

No ones POV
Sometimes Y/N felt like Valt didn't even love her, she was practically lonely just like she had been when she was younger.

You may think that she had her parents to cheer her up, but you are wrong. Her parents had died when she was little in a car crash, her grandma was also in it, but luckily survived. However she was in a really deep coma she hadn't woken up from in years.

As of right now, Y/N lived in a apartment, that belonged to her parents before they had died. She just stayed in silence for the rest of the day, she had school tomorrow after all.

The next day—

School wasn't the best either. She was bullied by a girl named Carline. The had long history together that I mention. They used to be best friends, but when Carline started hanging around with the popular girls, she changed a lot. From her clothes to her way of speaking, everything had changed.

"Oh hey loser, how are your parents?........ wait you don't have any, hahahaha."

Y/N was used to this so much, it hurt her only like if a needle was stuck in her skin. No tears were left to cry after all.

She walked away feeling no pain, as I mentioned, she felt no pain at all.

Four cuts on her wrist already.

Cutting herself was a habit. The feeling of her blood dripping down her wrist felt amazing. She loved it, and she did this very often, Like twenty cuts per day.

It was like taking her pain away from everything. She covered her wrists with the uniform she wore and made sure to bandage her wrists because she didn't want the blood to stain her uniform. She walked to her classroom, because she knew class would start soon.

The bell then rang and she sat on her seat, leaning her head against her desk. The teacher then did attendance

The teacher then said—

"Did I miss anyone's name?"

One hand was shot up in the air.

"Oh yeah you, what was your name?"

"M-my name I-is Y/N L/N"

Y/N's POV
You were now blushing, because you stuttered in front of the whole class, but at least no one was staring at you, well a pair of red eyes were glancing a bit over at you.

Then the teacher gave instruction:

"On today's assignment, you will be working in pairs of two."

You knew you couldn't afford to mess up the assignment, so you waited quietly until everyone had gotten a pair. Only one person was left now, and he came approaching you, you were a little surprised that he would actually do the assignment with you.

Shu Kurenai.

Well you weren't surprised at all, he was a really cute and nice guy.

"Oh hey Y/N, wanna do the project with you, is it ok with you?"

"Sure Shu, I'd love to, thanks for working on the project with me."

He nodded in response and took out the paper for the instructions:

On this project, you will take care of an egg, like if it were your child, if the egg doesn't crack within one week, it counts as 100 points for your grade. Depending on how long the egg lasts determines your score. Have fun~

You lightly blushed, thinking on how to react. Shu smiled and got the egg from the egg carton.

You two decided that the egg would get passed to each other each class period.

"Why does Shu make me feel loved for some reason?"

Carline was glancing at them, jealous that Y/N got a chance to be with Shu.

"She will NOT escape from this."

She got a plan—

School was now over and Y/N and Shu walked side by side, carrying the egg.

"Bye Y/N, I need to go now, see yah tomorrow, I can take care of the egg if you want, I want it to see me as a good father.", he said jokingly.

"Ok, see yah tomorrow.", you chuckled

He walked to his house, and you were getting your keys from your pocket, while you heard a voice behind you.

"Y-you Cheated?!?!"

Your boyfriend who you hadn't seen in two years.

"When did you get here, and what are you talking about, I didn't cheat!!!"

"Yes you were, I can't believe you were talking to Shu how could you, and can you explain this voice mail?!?!"

He handed over his phone as he pressed the button. You then heard something that you couldn't believe, but you never had said that.

_\oh hey Shu, I love you soo much, That i would cheat on Valt for you, anything for you/_

End of voice message—

Big fat tears escaped your eyes, as you couldn't believe your ears. Valt then said something that tore your heart into shreds.

"ITS OVER Y/N, I'LL BREAK UP WITH YOU THIS INSTANT, I USED TO BE SWEET AND KIND FORGIVING BUT I CHANGED YOU KNOW, I CHANGED, I'M NOT SORRY FOR ANYTHING I JUST SAID!!!!"

That was devastating. You never expected a breakup with someone like him. He definitely had changed.

He then left giving you such an angry glare, you couldn't process this, lying to yourself and saying it's just a bad nightmare.

"My life is over."

You got a knife from the kitchen and went to the balcony. Slicing a bit through her skin, you looked down below. You then saw what appeared to be someone below yelling—

"Please, don't do this, I saw everything but I care for you, and I would never forgive myself for letting you do something dumb!!!"

What was Shu doing here?!?!

You were speechless by his words. You dropped the knife on the floor and ran downstairs.

Shu was there and you two were embraced in a hug.

"You know that I you're really important to me, right?"

No ones POV:
Y/N nodded and smiled, and so did Shu.

"Y/N, I have a plan on how to get back with Valt, I know who made that voice-message."

Y/N looked a bit surprised and, Shu started to explain—

"Carline made the voice message. I know she has been crushing on me for a while and I know it was her, she hates you after all, and would do anything to make you upset. I was thinking that if we prove it wasn't you, then Valt would believe it and go back with you."

Astonished by what Shu said, Y/N nodded again. It was nighttime now though, so they had to go to sleep. However Shu thought it was a good idea to have a sleepover with Y/N, so that she didn't do anything dangerous again. Shu cooked some spaghetti, that was his specialty after all. That made Y/N remembered the time Valt had made beybread, it was all burnt and hard XD.

She now thought of now, but was cheered up by the smell of the spaghetti. He got two plates and served the spaghetti.

"So how are your parents Shu?", Y/N asked.

"Well they're pretty busy, they aren't around much because they're working." Shu said.

"Oh that's sad, you are pretty much lonely then.", Y/N said.

"No, it's not like that, I got the BeyClub and you.", Shu whispered.

"Who is the BeyClub?", Y/N whispered.

Shu then pulled out a picture and it had some boys in it, two of them were Valt and Shu.

"The one in a purple coat and Goldilocks hair is Wakiya, the dude with the fan and three comic books around his belt is Rantaro, Aka Honcho, the edgy one is Daigo, he may seem creepy, but he's pretty nice and cool, a former member, the one with two puppet hands is named Ken, he loves his puppets a lot btw."

They all seemed pretty cool,
Y/N remembered that they had been in the best teams before, BC Sol, AS Gallus, Sunbat United. It also reminded her of when Shu became Red Eye, but Valt forgave him for what he did.

"But he hasn't forgiven me, even though it wasn't me."

A plate of spaghetti was put on the table in front of Y/N.

"Dig in.", Shu said giving her a closed eye smile.

And so she did, she twirled her fork in to the sauce and noodles, making them mix, and put the forkful in her mouth.

It. Was. So. Tasty.

Y/N knew Shu was a good cook, but not THIS GOOD!!!

Idk POV:

After Y/N finished her food, Shu and her watched a movie, but it wasn't that long so then it was over. Y/N was so tired she fell asleep in Shu's arms as Shu snuggled close to her and also fell asleep.

The next day:
you got dressed up as quickly as possible to get to school early, today was the day you would stand up to Carline, after all Shu would be there for you.

You walked hand in hand with Shu, because, why not?

You guys weren't dating or anything, just two good old friends helping each other.

Carline turned around to see you two, she was frowning.

"Carline, we need to talk."

"About what loser?"

"Listen, I know you hate me, you've hated me for so long, I know you made that voice-message that Valt has, he broke up with me and yeah, here I am, I was gonna commit suicide, until Shu came to the rescue, he made me realize that I need to stand up for myself and I know you still hate me after all I've said but before I walk away, I wanted to tell you something else, I also have something to show you,

I'm sorry for whatever I did that broke our friendship up, but I've always seen you as my friend all along, no matter what you did, I never actually had hatred for you all along, here I wanted to show you this:"

Y/N took out a picture of her pocket, and Carline's eyes widened.

It was a picture of Y/N and her when they were younger, ugh such good memories.

Flashback:
Y/N was walking to her classroom, it was her first day of 2nd grade, sitting on her desk.

"Oh hey, I'm Carline Casanova, and I'd be happy to sit next to you!"

She turned around and saw a blondie with a cookie in her hand.

"Here have my cookie I baked with my mom to prove my point."

Carline handed the cookie over to her and Y/N gladly took the cookie and took a bite off it, it was nice of her to have given her this cookie, it was nice and round, it looked perfect.

Since that day they had been great friends until.....

5th grade:
Y/N noticed that Carline had changed her style quite a bit.

"Oh hey Carline, it's been a while since we have talked, how are things?", the words came from the innocent little girls mouth.

"Ughh you again, don't touch me, your gonna mess up my look, don't ever talk to me again!!!"

"But, we're best friends!!! How can you say that?"

"Best friends? Keep telling yourself that, but keep in mind that a loser like you means nothing to me!!!"

Carline was speechless, she looked like she wanted to cry, but couldn't handle her feelings.

"I'M SORRY Y/N, I'VE BEEN SUCH A BAD FRIEND, THAT I CANT BELIEVE YOU STILL CONSIDER ME YOUR FRIEND. I'VE CAUSED YOU TO BREAKUP WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND AND YOU NEVER HAVE HATED ME, I WOULD HAVE NEVER FORGIVEN YOU I I HAD TO BREAKUP WITH MY BOYFRIEND, WHICH I APPARENTLY DON'T HAVE ONE, I WANTED TO SAY SORRY FOR ALL I'VE DONE, IF IT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER, I'LL TELL VALT THE TRUTH, YES I MADE THAT VOICE MESSAGE."

That was quick. To be honest you had never seen Carline so sad and vulnerable at the same time.

Carline and you for the rest of the day sat together, the popular girls just stared at you two but you guys didn't care. It felt like ages since you had sat next to her at lunch.

One week later—
It had been a week since your breakup, you hadn't seen Valt at all whatsoever. Shu and you luckily passed the egg assignment with a 100%. It wasn't that difficult to be honest. You walked down the street with your two best friends, Carline and Shu when someone appeared. You couldn't believe it, Valt?"

"Y/N, c-can we talk in private?"

You walked over with him, he sat on a nearby bench, and so did you.

"Y/N, I don't know what is wrong with me, I just can't handle it anymore.

"What is it Valt?!?! You have had me worried as hell all week!!!"

Valt lips smashed into yours, unable to react, you wrapped your arms around his neck. He pulled away, his face redder than ever.

"Look Y/N, I don't know what got into me, how could I have believed it was you who made that voice-message, I've known you for so long, I know you wouldn't be capable of doing this to me, Carline told me everything yesterday, but I didn't want to go forgive for everything I did, thinking you wouldn't forgive me, but I then realized, you're Y/N
L/N, the girl I feel in love with in kindergarten, the girl who forgives everything, Y/N, I don't know if you feel the same, but I never stopped loving you, I've loved you so much, that I don't have anything to say at all right now."

You were blank by what he had just said, you wanted to say the same, but didn't know how.

"Valt Aoi, I forgive you, I love you so much, I'd be too stupid to not forgive you."

You were both in tears and speechless, you both then wrapped your arms in for a kiss. It was as long and old as you two have been together.

Some time later:
World champion, Valt Aoi, was now giving his speech:

"My heart is red, my hair is blue, this speech is made for some special girl, she is Y/N L/N, she was my reason I've given it all in my battles and, thanks to her I took the victory hand in hand with each opponent, I have been honored and blessed for being her boyfriend for at least 4 years, she has made me happy for those 4 years, I broke up with her for only one week and it nearly tore my heart apart, I would be a mess without her, but here is my motto, Y/N helped me come up with

Gonna take the victory~

To finish it off, it's all thanks to
Y/N that I'm World Champion, now I want a round of applause for her!!!"

His speech was a little cute you had to admit and, you loved him more than ever. Everyone was clapping for you now and you couldn't help but smile happily.

"Gonna take the victory."

Im done, I've spent about 2-3 days setting this up and to be honest, this can might as well be my longest story I've made without using parts, all the story stuck together, and I'm kinda happy that I've accomplished this, I swear if there is a mistake, I'll be soo mad, but who cares I guess, btw this is kinda weird because Reader-chan nearly friend zoned with Shu, so yeah....

Anyway please accept the fact that I'm not a good writer, I'm trash and—

I'm boring.
