*Valt lead Bell, Chiyoh and Rashad all to the place where they were going to meet Drum, the Sparking Arenas Training Center. When they got there, Drum was already waiting for them and good grief! Drums face was redder than a damn apple, Bell was almost freaked out by the sight but Rashad and Chiyoh didn't even flinch, they were used to Drums shenanigans..*

Drum: So you all finally made it!

Valt: Yep, i told you we'd make it! This is Bell, Chiyoh and Rashad, i'm sure you recognize them in some way, right?

*Drum stepped forward and got right in Bells face which only freaked him out even more*

Bell: Valt! What is he doing?!

Drum: So you must be that Demon King i've heard so much about! If you can beat them in the battle royale shortly, then you'll be facing the might of this Gatling Dragon!

*Drum held up his new BU Bey which was Gatling Dragon, the bey used a Karma Disk, A Charge Metal' Driver and a 10 Armor, giving it the ultimate level of attack! Chiyoh looked at the bey and her eyes narrowed as a flame sparked from her iris*

Chiyoh: Gatling Dragon.. i'll be the one to crush that bey beneath my foot..!

*Rashad was also in absolute awe at the new bey as well*

Rashad: He really took Dragons evolution to the next level, i guess i shouldn't have expected anything less from someone like him..

Drum: Well if everyone is ready, then let's begin the Battle Royale!

*The bladers got set up at a nearby stadium and Valt would be the referee of the battle, Bell stared at his two opponents with furious anger*

Valt: Battle Royale!!

Bell: I'll be the one to take on Dragon, i'll crush him with all my power! But first it looks like i'll have to go through you two again..!

Rashad: Battling against a bey like Dragon might be just what i need to get strong again, i have to win this battle royale in order to do that though! Bell might be the biggest challenge here, Chiyoh doesn't stand a chance against me since that day..!

Chiyoh: None of you will stand in my way, the one who will battle Drum is me!

*The bladers took their final positions and the battle began*

Valt: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Greatest Raphael, Savior Perseus and Divine Belial were racing around the stadium at full speed from the powerful launches*

Bell: Show them no mercy Belial!

Rashad: Raphael!!

*Belial was hot on Raphaels heels but was immediately stopped by Perseus*

Bell: W-What?!

Chiyoh: Perseus! Tear it into nothing!!

*Belial and Perseus were locked in a fierce clash and Perseus wasn't letting its opponent pass*

Bell: Get out of my way Perseus!!

*Belial tried to push past but it was no use, Perseus wasn't letting it by! Raphael had now taken the center in its Defense Mode and soon its armors would be moving into position*

Chiyoh: You won't win this time Demon King! Perseus will strike you down for good!!

Bell: Not if i have anything to say about it! Go!!

*Belial was finally able to break free from Perseus' grip but it wasn't long before Perseus was now chasing after it with full speed*

Bell: I won't let you!

Chiyoh: Get in there!

*Belial and Perseus clashed side by side with full force! Meanwhile, Raphaels armors were finally moving into position!*

Rashad: Do it now Raphael! Shine with Greatest Lord!!

*Raphaels armors moved into perfect alignment and the Halo finally appeared*

*Drum was completely in amazement by the battle that was taking place, his eyes were sparkling hard! Valt just deadpanned..!*

Drum: Man that's amazing!!

Bell: I said get out of my way!!

*Belial used the Metal in its blade to deal a devastating blow to Perseus and knock it away but Perseus wasn't giving up but Belial had one last trick up his sleeve*

Bell: Do it Belial!!

*Belial hit the rim of the stadium and began to speed up, escaping the wrath of Perseus*

Chiyoh: What?!

Rashad: Oh no..!!

Drum: Amazing!!

Valt: Thats..-

---

Bell: Belial!!!

Belial: Destruction!!

Bell: Adventure... Flash!!!

*Perseus clashes with Raphael with full force and both were knocked back*

Rashad: It's time! Rise Raphael!!

Raphael: We've got this..!

Rashad: Give it your all! Greatest Breaker!!

*Perseus was picking up speed as its 3 sharp swords were slicing through the wind*

Chiyoh: Perseus! Now!!

Chiyoh: Shot Driver!!!

*Perseus used its new Shot driver to launch itself into the air and pick up even more speed thanks to its added height and driver extension!*

Bell: Blow them into nothing Belial! Show it no mercy!!

Rashad: You won't be the one to face Drum! Go Raphael!!

Chiyoh: Strike it down Perseus! Win this thing!!

*The 3 beys clashed with astronomical force and the stadium exploded with rays of Purple, Gold and Light Blue! No bey was willing to give in to one another and the stadium was getting even stronger and stronger!! With a final burst of energy, the smoke had cleared and only one bey was left standing and it was... Raphael but just barely! Belial had hit the wall and lost all its stamina in a Spin Finish and Perseus had been knocked out of the stadium!*

Bell: W-What?! It can't be!!

Chiyoh: Seriously?!

Valt: The Winner of the Battle Royale is Rashad Goodman and Greatest Raphael!!

*Rashad picked up his bey and smiled with victory, Bell was absolutely fuming and Chiyoh was absolutely shocked*

Bell: Seriously! He gets to battle Drum?!

Rashad: Sucks to suck doesn't it Bell? But don't worry, you'll get there eventually.

*Rashad just started laughing and Bell was getting even more pissed!*

Bell: You take that back right now!!

*Chiyoh wasn't listening to the argument and instead she just left, she felt as if she no longer needed to be there. She retrieved Perseus and left the Arena without anyone noticing*

---Later---

*Bell and Rashad were given some time before the battle to think up a plan to go up against Drum and his Gatling Dragon*

Bell: Ok so we know next to nothing about Dragon except what it looks like and what its parts look like, you're going in blind one way or another!

Rashad: Is there no battle data on Dragon? Knowing Drum, he probably turned Japan upside down looking for opponents!

Bell: None of that either!

Rashad: Well i guess i am screwed then! Because i can't just go in and battle without a plan.

Bell: Well since it's an attack type, try going on a more defensive stance in the battle! Dragon will likely be hard to burst so it would be better to go for a Spin or Over Finish.

Rashad: That could work, alright i'll try it.

*Think time was over and Rashad headed back out to the Training Area where Drum and Valt waited, Bell was watching the battle from afar*

Drum: You won the Battle Royale so now you'll have the honor of facing my new BU Bey, Gatling Dragon!

*Rashad just stared at the new BU Bey with a focused look, trying to form at least some sort of plan even though it was useless*

Rashad: I'll go with Stamina Mode this time, regardless of how much attack power it has, i need the extra boost of spin..

*Rashad changed his High Xtend+' driver into Stamina Mode and Raphael began to glow with a golden aura*

Valt: Stamina Mode? Is he trying to make this a battle of endurance?

Rashad: It won't matter what Dragon can do, nothing stands in the way of the might of Raphael!

Drum: In that case, we'll show you just how serious we can get!

Valt: First Battle!!

*The 2 bladers took positions and the battle began*

Valt: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and Raphael had taken the center almost immediately as Gatling Dragon was racing around the stadium at full speed, the metal parts of the Charge Metal' driver sparking against the stadium floor*

Rashad: Let's see what you can do.. Dragon!

Drum: Now go! Dragon Shoot!!

*Dragon came racing in and began to fire off a barrage of attacks on Raphael but it was holding strong against the barrage*

Rashad: Is that all you got? Greatest Dagger!!

*Raphael used one of its spikes to knock Dragon back and it worked and Raphael had settled in the center once again*

Drum: We're not giving up that easily!

*Dragon hit the wall and saved itself from an Over Finish and it kept on going*

Rashad: W-What?!

Drum: Now get in there!

*Dragon began to speed up and it knocked Raphael out of the center again and it was now on the move*

Rashad: Greatest Lord!!

*Raphaels armors moved into formation and its halo formed immediately, forming its ultimate defense*

Bell: With Raphaels perfect defense up, Dragon is as good as finished!

Drum: Interesting, but now it's our turn! Get in there!!

Rashad: You'll face the true might of the Supreme King! Raphael!!!

Rashad: Greatest Breaker!!

*Raphael began to speed up immensely as a vortex of golden light began to swirl around it and it was coming straight for Dragon*

Drum: Do it now! Dragon!!

*Raphael clashes with Dragon and the Dragon faces on the Gatling blade opened up and the 2 front blades moved back*

Rashad: What?!

*Raphael and Dragon came racing in for the center and Dragon was starting to glow with a rainbow aura*

Bell: What is that?!!

Drum: Time to get serious! Gatling Bound!!

*Dragon and Raphael clashed and the full layer of Gatling Dragon began to turn to the left and immediately moved back with a powerful rebound attack! Raphael was launched high into the air and burst from the unbelievable force*

Rashad: I-Impossible..!!

Valt: Gatling Dragon with a Burst Finish! Drum Koryu is the winner!!

*Rashad went down to pick up the pieces of his bey and he was incredibly frustrated at his loss, what the hell went wrong?*

Rashad: Bound Attack.. Extendable blades with unknown function... Just what is that bey?!

*Bell was watching from the back and a sinister yet mischievous smile grew across his face, he was confident he now had a way to beat Dragon now that he had seen it in action*

Bell: Gatling Dragon.. i can't wait to see what kind of bey you really are!

---Later---

*Bell was back at the Gates Of Hell Beylab and he stared down at the old Evolution Gears, he felt it: Dragon was a perfect template for a new Gear but nothing about what he saw in the battle today was inspirational enough for ideas.*

Bell: Dragon is the perfect idea for a new Gear but something isn't right, i don't have any ideas on what to make for a new gear!

*Ranzo who was with him tried pitching an idea too*

Ranzo: Dragon has a Bound attack right? Why not try incorporating that into Belial somehow?

Bell: Too predictable! There's more to Dragon than meets the eye, chances are, Drum would find a way to exploit that with his own Bound attack.

Ranzo: Then i guess you'll just have to face him yourself then, find out the missing secret.

*Bells grandfather Jingemon immediately came on the PA*

Jingemon: Bell, there's a challenger here for you, he looks rather strong!

*With that, Bell immediately darts out of the Beylab and races into the Theater Of Hell where he sees Drum Koryu standing at the Stadium already*

Bell: So you came..

*Drum just smiled as his face turned slightly red*

Drum: Of course i did, you disappeared after the battle with Rashad so i came here to battle you myself!

*Bell jumped down from the balcony and landed in front of the stadium, he held up his Divine Belial and it began to glow with an aura of darkness*

Bell: Divine Belial will be the one to send you running away in fear, brace yourself Legend, you will tremble before the might of the Demon King!

*Ranzo stepped up to the stadium to be the referee for the battle*

Ranzo: Alright, First Battle!!

*Bell and Drum took positions and Bell immediately thought of Rashads battle with Drum*

Bell: The Core has a spring just like Valkyrie once did and the Blade seems to have an unknown function.. Let's see what it can really do

Drum: From what i've heard about this new Belial, it has metal placement along its main blades and has rubber on the driver. Bell, show me what you can do!

Ranzo: Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys were off and both Belial and Dragon were racing around the stadium at full speed, Belials burst lock was activated*

Bell: Go Belial!!

Drum: Go forth Dragon! Send it flying!

*Belial and Dragon take to the center and clash with all their might and sparks immediately started to fly*

Bell: Push them back!

*Belial was able to knock Dragon back but it was no use as Dragon landed back in the stadium and kept on going*

Drum: It's gonna take more than that to take us down!

*Dragon came charging in and began fire off a barrage of attacks on Belial, knocking it around like a ping pong*

Bell: Tch..!!

Drum: Dragon Shoot!!

Bell: Get real! No chance we'll fall to that, Adventure Shoot!!

*Belial tilts on the rubber of its Adventure Driver and sped up, escaping Dragons grasp*

Drum: W-What?!

Bell: Now time to bring you to rubble! Divine Bomber!!

*Belial comes back around and clashes with Dragon with full force, knocking it out of the stadium with little difficulty!*

Drum: W-What?!

Ranzo: Divine Belial with an Over Finish! Bell earns 1 point!!

*Drum just stared at Bell with frustration as his opponent just smiled, his aura of darkness swirling around him*

Drum: This is getting.. interesting..!

With Bell in the lead by 1 point, Drum goes all out in the 2nd battle! Can Bell keep up the lead or will Drum make him suffer the same fate as Rashad!
