THIRTY-EIGHT

WAR AGAINST THE LAMIA'S CABIN. 

ALVIS TURNED and sighed, "Kung wala ka lang rin naman palang alam then it's best to keep your mouth shut then. Ang ingay mo."

'So anong kinalaman ng bibig ko? Baka ayaw niya lang masermunan kaya siya nagkakaganyan. Ano, ha! Tumatakbo na naman siya ngayon? Which is what he's good at,' Courtney growled, rolling her eyes at him. Obviously, he had a few issues with Henry. Maybe he's jealous that Giovanni likes him?

This makes her even enraged.

If you look at their story in those romance novels, they don't have a love story that begins with hatred and ends with love; rather, they are born to detest each other for the rest of their lives. And only Alvis knows what his place is in here. If you're talking about a spark, then perhaps the spark of becoming enemies for the rest of their life would suit them both.

It was impossible for her not to be angry, especially since he had clearly declared war. Courtney smirked at him and crossed her arms, saying, "Oh, look at that, everyone! A Teras has just declared war in Nike's cabin."

"Hindi ko alam kung sinusubukan mo lang bang magyabang o sadyang barumbado ka lang talaga ha, Courtney? Whatever it is, I don't really care." Alvis scoffed.

"Talaga! Wala ka namang pake sa pagkakaalam ko. And the fact that you left me for years doesn't matter to you at all." She sneered at him before hastily moving away from his table and starting walking.

"I have no feelings for Giovanni or whatever, kaya kung ano man ang iniisip mo ngayon tigilan mo na 'yan ngayon. And you wouldn't believe me anyhow, but you should know about my ex-girlfriend, which I couldn't tell you about when we were together." Alvis stated.

"Shut up," Courtney hissed.

"Haruna—"Alvis sighed at saka niya ginulo ang buhok niya, "No. Lady Persicaria died. She died for being the scientist's experiment, and you, as an experiment, understand this well."

All he remembers is that he was on Giovanni's side in the Twilight Vale and First Domain. He's always been monitoring her and following her wherever he goes.

Alvis noticed a stir in the woods and could hear two girls chuckle within. He took a quick look and decided to investigate, only to discover that it was both the Duchess Moonstone and the Archduchess Moonstone.

"Ahem," Alvis quietly coughed.

"Alvis mahal mo naman ang ate ko 'di' ba? Tatakas kami, at h'wag mong sasabihin." banta ni Giovanni sa kanya, at inirapan niya lang 'to. She's really a barbarian woman, you know.

"Tinatakasan niyo na naman ang mga lesson niyo, ha?"

The breeze stirred, and Persicaria's beautiful dark pink curly hair shone through in the sun. Her magic works every time she shines through, and this is not surprising given that she is Horae's daughter. Alvis was unable to pull his gaze away from her rosy-colored eyes.

The only reason Alvis serves the House of Mudned is because of Giovanni's sister. He looked forward to seeing her every day and would go on a walk to see her. Also, look forward to her comeback. More days passed, and the quiet days continued. Alvis would always secretly sneak into the Duchess room to meet her. And at that time no one knew what kind of military that he belonged to, Alvis wanted his wishes to be granted through magic. He wanted to free his father.
