FORTY-NINE. 

THE FORGE OF DESTRUCTION. 

THE CHALLENGERS are tracking both Jacinta and Conleth. Both of them are currently preparing for the particular test. They're currently headed to the realm of Hephaeteus. And it was mentioned that it was located in Mudned, so they came to see Lemnos. 

Jacinta was having difficulty cooperating with him, and this was her first time working in pairs in this specific test.

"What kind of realm does Echoes of the Fire Forge seem like?"Jacinta followed Conleth, smiling at him. 

"Who knows? That's why we're here to find out. Everything has been broken since those scientists stole one of my father's realms." Conleth gripped his gloves and glared, "And I came here for one reason. For vengeance."

He was obvious about what he said. And you could see Conleth's rage rising to the point where his blood boiled. As he started walking, his expression was filled with wrath.

"Let's go, Jacinta."

An immense explosion of wrath has swept across his face. Ang hitsura niya ay kitang-kita kung gaano ang pagkamuhi ni Conleth sa realm ng Mudned. Kaya naman nag-aalala si Jacinta tungkol sa mga potensyal na resulta now that they're currently taking special examinations.

And without warning, Conleth moved his feet and repeatedly kicked the door, "Let us in! Right now!"

Huminga ng malalim si Jacinta and gently patted his back, "Calm down—"

"You can't be serious about it. Calm down, huh? Which part of me wanted to relax here!?" Conleth growled, and he blazed himself with large flames that surrounded his entire body. His flame magic is powerful, and all you could see were the flames burning alongside him.

"You'll definitely fail this test with that anger of yours."

"Who's there!?"

Jacinta appeared amused and held her mouth when she recognized a familiar sight. "The Demigod of Ananke's Cabin!"

"It's Shinra, and please stop giving me that little missy look; I'm not Henry. I'm his twin." The crimson-haired man with scars joined the scene, lighting his cigarettes and glaring at both of them.

"Pareho kayong bwisit,"Conleth hissed at him.

Sa galit niya, kinuyom na lang ni Conleth ang kamao niya habang inaasar siya ni Shinra. Walang magbabago sa kanyang tingin sa kanila, dahil pareho silang masama ng kapatid niya.

Mayroon siyang ibang agenda, at 'di siya dumating para tumulong. Ito ang nakikita ngayon ni Conleth.

Napabuntong-hininga si Conleth at umiwas ng tingin, "Ba't ka ba kasi nandito?"

"Your sister wants me to assist you with the specialized test. This is why I'm here. Want to know more?" Tanong  ni Shinra sa kanya at hinahamon pa siya nito na 'di naman nagustuhan ni Conleth.

'Ang yabang talaga kahit kailan! Walang pinagkaiba sa kakambal niya!' Conleth's gaze fell upon him, and he was undoubtedly cursing him inside his head.

Kahit na ipinagbawal niya si Alvis ay 'di siya nagreklamo pero 'tong si Shinra 'di niya tinantanan ang pakikipagkita niya kay Tina, na tanging siya lang yata ang nagpakita ng lakas ng loob na gawin 'to.

"In the test, you'd be entering a challenge and obtain a magical item so goodluck on obtaining them if you could.."Sabi ni Shinra at binato-bato niya ang relo na gawa mismo sa isang spider. Nothing to be odd it seems.

Napakurap na lang si Conleth at 'di naniniwala sa mga sinabi ni Shinra. Hindi niya maunawaan kung ano ang totoong iniisip ng lalaking 'to sa ngayon. 'Di niya alam kung siya ay nandito para tumulong or what.

Nobody understands what he was thinking because he's so discreet. At 'di gusto ni Conleth na magkaroon ng utang na loob sa kahit na kanino so he pouted a bit at umiwas ng tingin, "Thanks, I guess."

All Conleth could do was sigh quickly. All of his intense passion, fury, and desire for vengeance were gone. It's as if Shinra arrived at the exact time to help him think clearly.

Since arriving at this school and in Twilight Vale, all Conleth could think about was fighting for this bond.
He then looks at Jacinta. Of course, he want to save her from her fate.

Maybe he's too desperate, too. "We'll be up against cyclops here, according to the map."

Nilahad ni Jacinta ang mapa and she attempted to gaze at certain locations that are depicted on the map by moving her fingers, "Cyclops!? Ibig sabihin lang noon, we may run into some of your dad's workers!"

"H'wag ka masyadong pakasiguro. 'Di ganun kadali ang exam na 'to."

"Bakit naman?"

"The scientist and that crazy scientist, Archduke Moonstone, now own the Lemnos. Sa tingin mo, makakalusot tayo ng basta-basta dito? No. Either way, we must fight."

"No way!" Sigaw na lang ni Jacinta dahil sa mga nalaman niya.

Alam ni Jacinta na mahigpit ang mga regulasyon sa Phanteon Academy, at susubukan silang lahat ayon sa kanilang mga bond na mayroon sila, sa fate na nakadikit sa kanila, at kung paano nila ginagamit ang Book of Fate. However, when asked if she's prepared to fight, she says no.

"Yes, we must. You have to either move to fight for your fate or you let yourself be sucked into it and die first," Conleth stated straight-facedly. "I don't know if you're nice or what, but we're going to fight, so you better be ready."

"Is it only a matter of choice? To battle?" Jacinta asked.

"Yes."

Conleth sighed and pats her head, "Just apply what you've learned in Sir Milverton's class. You must trust yourself."

Both of them placed themselves in threat. Conleth takes a lighter, throws it around, and then burns his hands to use his fire magic as Jacinta prepares her sword ahead of time. His second eye also blazes, and the flame forms a large cluster of flames in his palms.

They knew the scientists were also present. They're risking their lives, so it's not just about the test.

They knew there would be an uphill battle. Someone might die. But they should be prepared for what will happen next.

SINENYASAN NI Conleth si Jacinta, at naglakad sila nang dahan-dahan habang pinagmamasdan nila ang mga scientists na may dalang mga mythical creature sa isang malaking silindro.

Conleth snarled and felt nauseous just looking at them, "Those bastards."

Jacinta is getting ready and warming up for the fight. "How are we going to fight the scientist?"

"We'll show them the power of Hephaestus and Phoebe's descendants. And they willl never make a mistake in the realm where we should be."

"Yeah."

Mudned conquered the entire realm of Lemnos. They used his father's tools to develop apparatus that would catch those mythical creatures para sa layunin ng pagtuklas sa kanila. Ang mga scientist na ito ay masahol pa nga sa hayop.

Conleth didn't seem amused while observing them. And if he could burn down this house, he might just do it. At aware siya sa kung ano mang laban ang hinaharap nila ngayon. Marami na ring atraso ang mga scientist, kaya't 'di niya 'to papalampasin.

Wala nang makakapigil sa gusto niyang mangyari.

Dahan-dahan lumapit si Conleth His steps become more dominant, and his presence becomes more menacing, as is usual.

Suddenly, the scientists stopped working and looked at them. They've never seen a strong aura like theirs.

"D–Demigods.."

Agad itong tumayo and now they grinned at them, causing Jacinta to shake her head. Wala na siguro siyang makikita na sing creepy tulad nila! At napahawak na lang siya sa kanyang braso and tears flowed from her eyes. That wasn't a typical smile; it was strange and gave off an uneasy sense.

"The Archduke..." Jacinta gulped, "He's been doing all of these stuffs?"

"Yes, for a long time ago. Nang isuplong ako ng nanay ko rito, dito ko nalaman ang mga kabaliwan niya," sabi na lang ni Conleth and he turned aside, surprised and irritated. "I've seen everything."

Napahawak na lang si Jacinta sa kanyang ulo and that doesn't even make sense. If you question her, she'll need further explanation. She needs to understand what's going on here.

"Then it must be true that they enraged the Greek gods. Dahil sa ginawa nila, all of our fate is now in an awful state! We need to stop them," Jacinta persuaded him.

"Yeah, that's right." Umiwas si Conleth saka siya tumango.

Naglakad siya nang maingat sa buong lugar, 'di alintana kung gaano karaming mga scientist ang gustong saktan at magsagawa ng mga eksperimento sa kanila.

What's more odder is that these people move like robots, may kung ano'ng  sinulid na nakakabit sa mga leeg nila and it shone brightly.

"What's up with them? So creepy!"Tili na lang ni Jacinta saka umiwas 'to, at saka lumapit kay Conleth at nagtago sa likod niya and she was shaking her head constantly.

"It appears that the old man is not satisfied with simply capturing mythical creatures, ethereal beings, and dieties to appease him for his experiments."

"Then," Jacinta said, raising her head and biting her lip, "You're implying that this war could go further. What is it? First of all, why are they doing this?"

"They sought to gain the powers of the Greek gods and own whatever they possessed."

Conleth squeezed his fist as his flames grew even larger, his passion for his rage so strong that it caused his magic to blaze even brighter.

He took a deep breath and hummed to activate his flames from extreme heat, and the flames automatically came to him, and something sparked on his feet, and it began to heat up with something.

At temperatures that high, particle energies increase to a point where their gravitational forces are as substantial as any other kinds of fundamental forces. Gravity, electromagnetism, strong nuclear forces and weak nuclear forces combine into a single, unified force.

Additionally, every scientist in the Lemnos realm felt the heat as it gradually burned them. There's no reason to spare them. No. Conleth could see they were nothing more than beasts.

He also detested them.
