EPILOGUE
"You do know I hate dancing, do you not?", the raven-haired prince groaned as he was led to the middle of the room by his lover.
"Oh, stop being such an ass, Loki."
Loki raised an eyebrow. "You love it, though.", he said, once they were in place. His hands immediately went to her waist, and Kara's landed on his shoulders.
"What, you being an ass?", she cocked an eyebrow. The god had a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"No. My ass."
Kara choked on her own spit. She smacked him playfully on the chest, swiftly looking around to see if anyone heard his cheeky remark.
"Stop saying things like that in public.", she began, squinting his eyes at him, but no one can deny the smile that threatened to spread across her face. "Someone might make an issue out of it."
Loki rolled his eyes. "I was not the one who first said ass-"
"Can we stop mentioning that word, please?", she cut him off, looking at the other couples dancing around them. The prince was obviously satisfied at seeing her annoyed, a small smile tugging at his lips.
Kara took this moment to admire the gowns of the women next to her, as well as the tuxedos of their dance partners. The enchanted garden-theme took her breath away; she felt like she was in a dream.
The fairytale-like theme extremely contrasted with the outfit of her Asgardian lover, who insisted on wearing an emerald-green suit with a matching waistcoat and jade tie. He also seemed to have modified the horns on his helmet to appear smaller, so that it resembled a crown.
Kara didn't realize that she let out a giggle at the thought of her partner's exotic taste in clothing, but Loki sure did. "What amuses you?", he asked, raising an eyebrow and keeping a firm grip on her waist. The brunette shook her head and fought back a laugh, her eyes landing on the prince's horned crown.
"Nice tiara," she pointed out, eyeing his headwear. Loki's expression shifted from a curious look to a blank one. He rolled his eyes and scoffed. "This is the second time you've insulted my headwear. How many times do you plan on ridiculing my crown this evening, hmm?"
"Who said I was ridiculing it?", she asked, a fake gasp escaping her lips at the god's words.
"Admit it, I look fabulous tonight.", he continued, the signature smirk returning to his face. It was Kara's turn to scoff. "You look like you're running for president."
"I-" Loki was cut off by booming laughter and a rather harsh pat on the back. He turned around and glared at his brother, who was wearing a common-looking suit and tie. "Glad to see you're both enjoying yourselves, brother and Lady Kara," Thor said, adding a cheeky wink at the end of his sentence.
"You clean up well, Thor," Kara remarked, smiling at the older god. She caught Loki squinting at her from the corner of her eye, and she had to clamp her mouth shut to prevent herself from laughing.
"Ah, yes. I used some of Barton's eucalyptus soap and used some of Maximoff's fruity shampoo tonight," he answered, a large grin on his face. Kara sighed and mentally face-palmed, while Loki didn't bother to hide his exaggerated eyeroll.
"You used my soap?!", a voice suddenly said, and the trio looked around to find Clint making his way towards them. Thor took this as a sign to get out of their hair and head out. "See you both later," he said, putting his hands in his pockets and hurrying away. A few seconds later, Clint was passing them by, his eyes still on the Asgardian.
"Hey," he paused and greeted the couple, before turning around and followed Thor again. "So that was YOUR hair on it?" Kara and Loki heard Clint call out, and they chuckled at the sight. Loki resumed the position they were previously in, but Kara was still so amused with the thought of Thor using Wanda's shampoo.
"So that's why he smelled like strawberries," she remarked, shaking her head at her lover's older brother.
"Hey.", the man in front of her said, grabbing her chin with his index finger. "Eyes on your partner."
Kara smiled, focusing her attention on Loki. "Geez, you're such the jealous type."
Loki scoffed. "Me, the jealous one?", he challenged, smirking. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see a waitress approaching them, a tray of champagne glasses in her hand and a pleasant smile on her face.
The god momentarily let go of his hold on his partner's waist and took two glasses from her tray. "Thank you, darling.", he teased, winking at the waitress, who blushed madly and scurried away.
Loki took a sip of his champagne, deliberately ignoring the appalled expression Kara was displaying.
"Want some?", he asked, offering her the other glass. The brunette glared at him and rolled her eyes, turning around and about to walk away.
Loki snapped his fingers, and in an instant, the glass vanished. He quickly got ahold of her hand and placed it on his shoulder, chuckling in amusement.
"Still think I'm the jealous one?", he raised an eyebrow, his voice coming out huskier than intended. Kara squinted her eyes at him and huffed, averting her gaze from his eyes.
By this time, Loki was full-on grinning. He absolutely loves it when he pissed her off; he found it both adorable and hot as hell.
He gently took her chin in his fingers and tilted her head to face him once more. He just stared at her, a kind of love-sick look evident in his eyes, reserved only for the woman in his arms. The annoyed expression on Kara's face was gone and was replaced with a flushed one the moment she saw how the god was gazing at her.
"Stop looking at me like that.", she said, unable to maintain the eye contact.
"Am I not allowed to admire a goddess?", he pressed, and if Kara wasn't red before, she was now. Desperately, she tried to hide the pink tint on her cheeks, forcefully fighting off a sh*t-eating grin that she knew Loki would undoubtedly enjoy seeing.
"They didn't call you silver-tongue for nothing, huh?", she managed to retort, but the Asgardian could still make out the blush on her skin. He smirked, leaning closer to whisper in her ear, "I could give you a demonstration if you would like."
Shivers ran down her spine, and the small gasp that escaped Kara's lips was music to his ears. With their proximity and the increasing sexual tension, they couldn't hold it anymore. They met halfway and kissed right there and then, like they weren't in the middle of the ballroom with a number of couples around them. Kara's hands, which were previously on his shoulders, slowly went up his neck, the curly strands of his hair brushing against them. Loki tightened his grasp on her waist and pulled her closer, if that was even possible. Soft background music was being played by a live band, and it was a picture-perfect and movie-worthy scene, indeed.
Their sweet moment was interrupted by the clinking of a glass. Pulling away, both were breathless, goofy smiles tugging on their lips. Their eyes then followed the source of the sound, only to see that an elderly man was the culprit.
"What now?", Loki muttered, noticeably irritated at the interruption. Kara giggled and pecked him on the cheek, which sent butterflies in the god's stomach.
"Good evening, everybody. It appears someone has a few words to say for the newly-weds. Without further ado, I'd like to call on, Mr..." the old man paused, squinting his eyes to get a better view of the paper in his hand. "Mr. Stank."
The whole room was confused, but clapped their hands anyways. "Who the hell is Stank?", Natasha asked, looking at Steve and Sam, who merely shrugged in response.
The confused expressions on everyone's faces were soon replaced with that of laughter and amusement once they saw Tony approaching the man, a little bit annoyed.
"That's actually an 'r', Mr. Lee," Tony remarked, but the elderly man merely handed him the microphone and walked away from the stage, a big smile still on his face.
"I like that old man," Loki remarked, a smirk on his face.
"Can I get everyone's attention, please?", Stark's voice boomed across the reception area, making every dancing couple halt and stand in anticipation.
"Typical Stark.", Kara commented, to which Loki sniggered at.
"First and foremost, I would just like to thank everyone for coming over and being a part of this special day. You know, despite your busy schedules and boring lives," he said, earning a few laughs from the audience and the occasional eyeroll. "...you all still made time to witness my dear friend's wedding. So, um, I'd like to make a toast to you Mr. and Mrs. Rhodes," Tony paused, raising a glass and focusing his attention to his best friend currently seated behind a rather large table full of mouth-watering food and glasses of different beverages. Beside him was his wife, Samantha, who shared a look of happiness and contentment with her husband at Tony's words.
"I wish you both the best in your marriage. Sam, I'd like you to know that I'm gonna borrow your hubby from time to time, yeah?", Stark added, and the room chuckled, especially the newly-weds.
"Just make sure he always returns to me in one piece, Tony.", she answered, raising her glass and nodding. Tony laughed and shrugged. "Yeah, no more of our 'nights out', I guess.", he added, making air-quotation marks.
"You're damn right no more nights out.", a lady suddenly piped up, and everyone's gazes fell on Pepper, seated a few tables from where Tony was. The whole room erupted in laughter, and Stark could feel his cheeks getting hot. He made a kissy face to Pepper, and winked. Potts rolled her eyes but smiled at him, nonetheless.
"To Mr. and Mrs. Rhodes, everyone!", Tony said, raising his glass higher and extending his arm towards the couple. The other visitors did the same and applauded soon after.
"I can't believe he's now married," Kara remarked once the music started to play once more and the guests continued with their own businesses. Loki hummed at this and returned his hands to their original position.
"Would you like to be, too?", he asked, and the brunette was caught off-guard. "Oh! Um... I haven't really... well, thought about it, yet.", she answered. Loki smiled and nodded in understanding.
After the slight panic drained from her face, she mustered up the courage to ask him, "Is that on your mind right now? Marriage?" Loki seemed to ponder about it as they continued to sway to the soft music.
"I am uncertain, as well, if I were being honest.", he finally said after a few seconds. Kara snickered. "Well, that's gonna be a first."
Loki raised an eyebrow and tickled her side. Kara let out a tiny squeal and her eyes opened wide, clamping a hand over her mouth swiftly. She whipped her head around to see if anyone heard and fortunately, no one did. Kara proceeded to playfully smack his chest.
"You idiot. You know I'm ticklish.", she said, a grin on her face.
"I know a lot of things, love," he replied, this time, a genuine smile on his lips. Kara shook her head lightly and rested her head on his chest, watching the couples around them spend their time on the dance floor and listening to the sound of the Asgardian's beating heart.

"My feet are killing me.", Kara remarked, taking her heels off and massaging her feet.
The reception had ended about half an hour earlier, and some of the Avengers returned to the compound to rest for the night. Wanda and Vision appeared to be sound asleep in their rooms already, Steve was in the living room with Sam watching the news, Natasha said she was going to pick a few things up and meet with an old friend, and Thor was in the training room.
"I feel so energized tonight," he replied when asked why he was beating the crap out of some punching bags at 10 o'clock in the evening. Tony, Rhodey, and Clint decided to head to their own homes that evening, wanting some quality time with their families.
"Why did you wear them, then?", Loki asked as he ran a hand over his body and in an instant, he was in much more comfortable clothes. Kara was left awestruck.
"Dang, I wish I could do that.", she noted, sighing. The god chuckled and sat beside her. "There's a lot of things you do that I wish I could, darling," Loki continued, kissing the top of her head.
He watched as the woman beside him rubbed circles on her right foot, then his gaze landed on the toy ring on her hand.
"I still cannot believe you wear this everywhere you go," he said, gesturing to her ring finger. Kara followed is focus and smiled, raising her hand so they both got a better sight of the ring. "Why not? You gave it to me."
"Kara, it is a toy."
"So?", she asked, tilting her head to the side. "I'm not one for expensive jewelry, Laufeyson."
"Oh?", he said, standing up and walking over to the bedside table. The brunette's eyes stayed on the god as he seemed to get something out of one of the drawers.
Loki sat back down and looked away, a velvet green box in his hand. He opened the lid to reveal the most gorgeous emerald ring Kara had ever seen in her life. It was extremely sparkly and elegant, like it cost more than a fortune.
Kara's lips parted at the sight. She wanted to say something, but for some reason, she couldn't form a coherent statement.
"Such a shame. I guess I'd have to return this then-"
"N-no!" Kara stammered, her eyes turning watery. Loki's lips curved into a smile.
"Um... Loki...", she asked breathlessly. The god edged her to go on. "Yes, love?"
"Are you... is this why you brought up the marriage topic earlier?", she continued. Her eyes were open so wide, that she thought she resembled an owl now.
Loki shrugged. "Maybe, maybe not," he replied.
Well, that confused Kara even further. Her eyebrows furrowed together, puzzled at his response.
"You bring up marriage, offer me the most beautiful ring my eyes have ever laid upon, then you're not sure whether you're proposing to me or not?" Kara voiced her thoughts. The god was snickering.
"If you are asking me whether I want you to be my wife or not, the answer is yes, to Valhalla and back.", he responded, facing her completely. He set the box down on his lap and took both of her hands in his.
"But it seems you are not prepared for a life of a married woman, and I understand that, darling. I mean, we have only got back together like what, six months ago?", Loki continued, squeezing her hands in fondness. Kara nodded and couldn't help but smile. The last six months with Loki were full of surprises and note-worthy moments, indeed.
"Also, I did tell you I would get you much more expensive jewelry than that Midgardian toy.", he remarked, scrunching his nose up at the ring in her hand. Kara clutched it possessively, pouting at him like a child. "Just so you know, I love this ring."
Loki smiled. "But you love me more, do you not?" Kara blinked several times, her cheeks turning a darker shade of pink. "I do."
The god took the ring out of the box and placed it on her finger, just right above the toy ring he had given her months ago from a theme park store.
By now, the small smile on Loki's lips grew into a huge grin. "I think this is the part when I kiss my 'bride', yes?", he said, voice barely above a whisper as he leaned closer. Just before their lips touched, Kara put an index finger on his lips.
"Soon-to-be, Laufeyson."
"That's more than enough for me.", Loki said in response. Kara felt her eyes water up again, touched at how he was willing to wait for her, for when she was finally ready.
She was the one who closed the gap. Her arms immediately flung around his neck, and Loki's arms wrapped around her waist. Their lips moved in sync, and with their chests pressed together, they could feel each other's raging heartbeats.
Loki pulled away slightly, resting his forehead on hers. Both struggled to catch their breaths, smiling like idiots. "I hope we stay like this forever.", she remarked, closing her eyes, and just feeling him close to her.
"No matter what happens, we'd always be like this. I can assure you that.", he responded, stroking her back ever-so-gently.
A thought suddenly crossed his mind, and he suddenly stood up.
"What's wrong?", Kara asked, concern in her tone. "Oh my gosh, is my breath okay? I swear I used extra mouthwash toni- LOKI!" She was cut off by Loki carrying her bridal style off the bed and out of their shared room. Kara was a giggling mess.
"Where are you taking me? Put me down, you twerp!", she said in between fits of laughter. Steve and Sam exchanged glances as their eyes landed on the couple rushing out of the compound.
When they were out of range, Steve went back to watching the television, much to Sam's confusion. "Aren't you gonna tell them off?", Wilson asked, an eyebrow raised.
The blond shrugged. "Who am I to ruin their fun?", he replied, turning the volume up. His friend smiled and patted him reassuringly on the back.
"LOKI! It's freezing outside!", Kara shrieked once they got out. The god didn't mind her as he twirled her around in the snow, causing the young lady to clutch onto him tighter.
"Just so you know, o-only one of us is able to withstand this c-cold.", Kara added, this time a slight stammer in her voice. With one look at the sky, Loki smiled and stopped turning around.
"Heimdall, would you mind giving me a hand here?"
"Heimdall? What are you-"
In an instant, streaks of blinding lights of green, yellow, and red hues enveloped the pair. As they felt like they were being sucked in some sort of vacuum, their spot on the grass had just been replaced with an intricate and complex-looking mark.
Kara held onto Loki as if her life depended on it. She didn't dare open her eyes; it was so easy for her to feel squeamish and get motion sickness. At the feeling of her nails digging into his skin, Loki winced, but held her even tighter against his own body.
The sensation of the rushing wind and the whooshing sounds then came to a halt, but Kara still had her eyes closed. It was only with Loki's advice that she slowly opened her eyelids, and the amount of gold that surrounded them practically blinded her.
Once her eyes adjusted to the light, no words came out of her. Kara was still clinging onto Loki like a koala bear, eyes wide open like a kid who just visited Disneyland. To say that the sight was majestic would be an understatement.
"Are... are we...", she trailed off as Loki slowly set her down. The raven-haired prince nodded, amused at her reaction. "Yes, darling. Welcome to Asgard."
"It's about time you returned, Loki." A voice cut them off, and their heads whipped around to find none other than the guardian of the Bifrost, Heimdall himself.
Kara had never seen another Asgardian before, and she was in awe of how incredible he looked in his all-gold armor. He had a sword in his hand, which made him even more intimidating in Kara's eyes.
Once Heimdall shut the Bifrost, he slowly approached them. The young lady couldn't help but step back a little, amazement and uncertainty written all over her features.
"You have nothing to be afraid of, Lady Kara," Heimdall spoke in his large voice, his words echoing all through-out the room. "I am Heimdall, Keeper of the Bifrost. I have witnessed great things from you."
"Ho-how do you know my name?", she managed to ask, holding Loki's hand. Heimdall smiled, his eyes flickering from the brunette to the prince. "I see everything, my dear."
Kara gulped. "And... you're not mad at me? For everything I've done?"
Heimdall breathed heavily and turned around. "We all make choices we regret, do we not?"
The young woman nodded in response, and though his back was turned, Heimdall could sense it. He looked over his shoulder and continued, "What is important is whether we choose to dwell in our regret, or act upon it."
With this, his eyes met with those of Loki's, who blinked and held a stoic expression. "It's a pleasure to see you once again, Loki."
Loki didn't respond but settled with giving him a quick nod. Soon afterwards, the clicking sound of horses' heels was heard. Joining them were none other than The Warriors Three: Fandral, Volstagg, and Hogun, all looking marvelous in their battle armor.
"Ah, Loki. We wondered when you'd be back.", Fandral greeted, a wide grin on his face. Loki rolled his eyes. "And we see you've brought a... friend." Volstagg remarked, wiggling his eyebrows. Kara felt her cheeks grow hot.
"The king expects you," Hogun added grimly, a blank expression on his face. At the mention of his father. Kara noticed Loki's shoulders stiffen, which she eased by rubbing the back of his palm with her thumb. The god quickly glanced at her and his lips curved into a small but appreciative smile.
A fourth horse came into view, and without further hesitation, he led Kara towards the horse and hoisted her up. "I've never ridden one before," she admitted, embracing Loki once he had settled in. The prince chuckled and kissed her hands. "Hang on tight."
The ride was swift yet magical, at least from Kara's perspective. Years and years (thousands of them) of riding made the activity lose its magic for Loki and the other Asgardians. They came to a halt when they were met by the gigantic palace doors.
"Wow," Kara breathed out, her eyes on the palace as she was assisted by Loki down the horse. With one knock from Fandral, both doors swung open, and Kara could make out something that resembled a throne with a man sitting on it.
As they walked forward, the lady felt her breathing speed up. She suddenly felt all self-conscious: about her looks, her outfit and her impression towards the Asgardian king, her lover's adoptive father.
"Loki, you should have at least made me change into something decent.", she whispered in a reprimanding manner, but Loki reassured her. "You look beautiful, love."
Kara rolled her eyes. "To you, maybe. What if your father thinks I'm stupid and pathetic-"
"So, you finally returned." Odin interjected once they were in range. The blood from Kara's face drained at the sound of his commanding voice. She had no idea how to act in front of royalty, so she decided to do a curtsy.
"Manners, I appreciate that," Odin remarked, and the brunette could feel a wave of relief wash over her.
"Yes, indeed I have." Loki ultimately spoke up, his face showing no emotion whatsoever. Odin's focus shifted back to Loki, and he held his staff in his hand firmly.
"Your brother tells me of your actions back on Midgard," the king spoke, holding his stare. "I must admit you have improved since the last time you were here."
Loki fought the urge to roll his eyes.
"But know that this doesn't completely absolve you of your crimes, against humanity and against Asgard," Odin continued, his tone rising. Loki blinked several times but didn't move a muscle.
"In fact, you should be serving your sentence in the dungeons right now, had your brother not broken you out without my consent-"
"I did the right thing, did I not? Malekith no longer poses a threat to us or any of the Nine Realms."
"Indeed, you have. But have you redeemed yourself in the eyes of the Midgardians you had hoped to subjugate?", Odin asked, standing up and stomping his staff. Kara flinched at the action.
Loki was at a loss for words. He had no idea if he was finally accepted and forgiven for what had happened years ago. His parted lips slowly closed shut, and he was left staring at his shoes.
"If I may, Your Majesty..." Kara piped up, catching everyone's attention, even the Warriors Three. She tried her best to ignore the rapid beating of her heart and struggled to keep her voice from quivering.
"Kara, what are you doing?" Loki asked in a whisper, his eyes open wide at her.
"Loki has fought well on Earth. He may not be the perfect soldier, warrior, or hero...", she trailed off, stealing a glance from the god beside her.
"He has his antics, mischievous ones. He has mood swings, that I can attest to. He's got quite the temper, as well. He is the exact opposite of his brother, whom I know you favor more," she continued. Loki's head perked up, and Odin was startled.
"... but he is definitely worthy to be called your son. I have heard all great things about you, Your Majesty. Your courage, wisdom, benevolence, to name a few. But I have seen all your astounding traits in him, as well. Loki looks up to you, I know it. He may not show it explicitly as Thor does, but all the things he does is to gain your approval and recognition."
A single tear threatened to fall from Loki's eye.
"Had it not been for him, I might have remained a pathetic meta-human being, out-of-control with dangerous motives in her head."
She boldly took a step forward, much to Odin's surprise. "Your son saved a lot of lives on my planet, and he managed to change mine for the better. Isn't there nobility and redemption in that?"
Loki was left speechless; everyone didn't expect Kara to stand up to the king in such a daring manner. Odin wasn't able to talk back, and for a moment, he seemed to have experienced some sort of enlightenment. His features calmed down and he sat back down on his throne. Kara, on the other hand, still felt her breath hitched at her throat at her burst of confidence.
After a few minutes of nerve-wracking silence, Odin smiled, much to their shock and bewilderment.
He looked up at her and nodded. "You remind me a lot of my late wife, Frigga. Strong, firm, very outspoken," he commented, and Loki felt a pang in his chest at the sound of his mother's name. "I can see why Loki adores you so much, young lady."
Kara was frozen in her spot. To be compared with the queen filled her heart with so much joy, she thought she would burst. "Th-thank you, Your Majesty."
Odin waved his hand. "It is I that must express my gratitude. You brought me... my son back."
Loki focused on his father and couldn't believe what he was hearing. He blinked a couple of times and his mouth parted, but no sound came out.
Odin stood up, using his staff for support. The Warriors Three came to assist him, but the king dismissed them kindly. He stood upright, looking glorious as ever in his armor which was sparkling and his velvet cape flowing behind him freely.
He rested a hand on his son's shoulder and got a good view of both of them. Loki and Kara's intertwined hands didn't escape the king's notice. "That ring is beautiful. Excellent choice."
The couple could feel their cheeks burning.
With one fatherly look at the both of them, Odin turned on his heel and walked away. Before he was out of sight, he stopped and turned around, only to find everyone still watching him pass by.
"Welcome to Asgard."
As he left, The Warriors Three decided to give the couple some much needed space alone, each soldier giving Loki a tender pat on the back.
"I... I cannot still fathom all the words you've said," Loki remarked, gazing at her like she was some precious jewel. Kara sighed. "Well, I couldn't let him think you didn't do anything worthwhile on Earth, Loki."
Kara could make out Loki's teary eyes, and her heart warmed even more at the sight. "I... you mean so much to me, and I wasn't going to let him-"
Her sentence was cut short by a pair of lips meeting hers and arms snaking around her waist. She responded by kissing him back and tangling her fingers in his black locks.
"You...", he said in-between kisses. "... are truly extraordinary."
A smile was etched on Kara's features.
"I love you, with all my heart and soul, Kara. Thank you." At this point, Kara was on the verge of tears.
"I love you, Loki. No power in all the Nine Realms could change that." He smiled at this, and their passionate exchange was resumed. He hastily carried her to his quarters where they could get their much-awaited privacy. All throughout the walk, their lips never parted with each other. When the finally reached the bedroom, the doors were magically shut, and their bodies fell on the emerald silk bed.
"Screw it all. I accept your proposal."

Meanwhile...
Sam was fast asleep on the couch, his mouth wide open and his arms dangling off the chair. Steve would occasionally laugh at his friend's appearance as he flicked through the channels.
As he waited for the television show he was currently hooked on come back, he stood up to get some food from the cupboard. When his eyes landed on the high-protein bars on the shelves, his eyes lit up and immediately grabbed them. "I didn't know I still had these," he muttered to himself.
He returned to his spot and munched lazily on the bar. His eyes were wandering around the room when a news report suddenly came into sight.
"Breaking news! The convoy of Ambassador Harrison has just been ambushed by an unidentified suspect down here in Manhattan. The ambassador was on route to a summit with international world leaders for talks regarding militarization. Authorities and several eyewitnesses claim that a long-haired male with what appeared to be a metal arm marked with a red star single-handedly wiped out the trail of cars. The body of the ambassador is nowhere to be found. Police are looking at politics and personal matters as potential angles for the ambush."
Steve's eyebrows furrowed at the news report. Not taking another bite of his protein bar, he obnoxiously woke Sam up, as well as the rest of the Avengers present in the compound.
"What in the world-"
"Get up, we have an issue at hand," Steve spoke firmly, and by then, his teammates knew something was indeed wrong. "Thor, where are Kara and Loki?"
Thor shrugged. "I haven't the slightest idea."
"Check outside, that's where I last saw them." Without hesitation, Thor sped off to search the grounds.
"It's the ambassador. He's missing," the super-soldier said to the rest. Wanda gasped, her eyes flickering towards the news.
"And the culprit?", Sam inquired. Steve shook his head. "All they said was a man with a metal arm branded with a red star."
Everyone seemed to be in thought. A few seconds later, Thor joined the group, and everyone had expectant looks on their faces. "They seem to have gone to Asgard. I shall fetch them, yes?" the God of Thunder asked. Rogers nodded, and in an instant, Mjolnir whipped around madly and pulled Thor out of sight.
"What are we going to do, Captain?", Vision asked, his hand grasping Wanda's own. With one heavy sigh, Steve breathed out, "We suit up."
