"What?! Rock of Ages had a girlfriend?!", Tony piped up in amazement. The others all had similar shocked expressions on their faces.

"Is that difficult to believe, Stark? You dare offend my brother's appearance?", Thor asked, crossing his arms and cocking an eyebrow.

"Not his looks. We're talking about Mr. Kneel-before-me-or-I'll-end-the-world here.", was Tony's reply. Thor scoffed.

"And what if I brought up how you made your fortune in the past, Man of Iron?", the God of Thunder responded, gaining 'oohs' from the other members.

"He got you there, Tony.", Clint remarked. Tony rolled his eyes and left the room.

"I think it's cute, you know. Stuck with someone you despise now but loved back then.", Wanda commented, earning looks from the team.

"What's cute in that? That's like... torture in her case.", Natasha spoke up.

"And imagine being stuck with him?", Steve pointed towards Loki's room with his thumb. The captain then hissed and raised his eyebrows.

"Have care how you speak. He IS my brother after all.", Thor butted in.

"I thought you said he was-"

"I know what I said before." The blonde god cut off Natasha's sentence.

Just then, Sam and Rhodey entered the room, to find the 7 of them huddled together. The duo lookes confused.

"I wasn't aware we had a group meeting.", Rhodey said, taking a seat next to Tony. Sam simply stood behind Steve.

The rest of the team gave each other meaningful glances. Tony wiggled his eyebrows, making Steve chuckle.

"What did we miss?", Sam asked, taking a bite out of his burrito.

The other 7 stood up and headed towards their own rooms, Steve patting Sam on the shoulder.

"Ask Thor." With that, he left.

Rhodey and Sam glanced at each other, bewildered looks on their faces.

"I'm fine. Stop touching me.", Kara hissed at Loki, who was currently using his magic on her to make her bruises fade away.

"I'm trying to help you, darling. Stop being so stubborn.", he replied, concentrating on her arm.

"I don't need your help. I don't need anyone in here!", she yelled, yankinh her arm from his grasp. Loki squinted his eyes at her.

"You're being difficult."

"I was easy back then. Not anymore, Laufeyson.", she retorted, crossing her arms. She winced a bit when her bruise came in contact with her chest.

The God of Mischief rolled his eyes and stood up, making his way towards the bathroom. Kara simply stared at him.

"Have it your way, then.", Loki replied.

He started undressing right in front of her and the lady's eyes widened. Her eyes racked through his well-defined chest, then made its way down to his pack of abs. She admired the way his hair, now at shoulder-length, swayed at his every movement.

"Damn, he's still got that body.", Kara thought.

Loki felt her stare and his green eyes met hers. Kara's cheeks quickly turned a shade of red and she averted her gaze. Loki smirked at her actions.

"What the f**k, Loki? Can't you do that in the bathroom?", she uttered, making the raven-haired god chuckle.

"Darling, this is MY room. I do what I want.", he replied, grabbing a towel and heading inside.

Kara got a good look at his back. She felt her cheeks heating up again. Thank the heavens he had a towel on his lower body.

Loki poke his head outside the door and grinned.

"You could join me if you want."

"Shut up! Ugh!", Kara retorted, flopping down on the bed and shoving her face in a pillow.

"Where is she?", a big booming voice echoed through the walls of the room. The other people working on their computers got startled and paused what they were doing.

"She's been gone for days now!", the male said, grabbing one of his agents by the collar.

"Si-sir, she took off her tracker. It's gonna take time before-"

The agent never finished his statement as he was thrown on the floor and shot 3 times on the chest. His colleagues cowered in fear upon witnessing this.

"Dammit, Kara!", he yelled, slamming his fists on the table.

Yells and cries were heard from the other end of the hall, which angered the man even more. He marched towards the source of the noise and opened the door with a loud thud.

"F**king shut up!", he screamed, and the subjects desperately tried to keep quiet despite the immense pain they were feeling right now.

He then noticed one female who looked unfazed by the injections she was receiving. He slowly approached her and ran a finger across her cheek.

"You...", he trailed off. "... are special."

The lady didn't say anything, but simply bore her eyes into the man's own.

"You will lead this... team of ours as we restore HYDRA to its former glory.", he added, smiling at her.

"My father was a fool. I will prove that I am twice the man he is. And you will help me do that.", Werner von Strucker finally said, before retracting his finger from her and leaving the room.
