Below : 1st girlfriend Dot apparently got pregnant.. Paul bought her a gold engagement ring and was ready to "do the right thing." alas fate intervened and she miscarried after three months. The wedding was canceled. 

Dot went with Cynthia to Hamburg while there, Dot and Paul lived together in a cabin on a houseboat. Dot recalled the two as being "very cuddly, lovely, close." However, by the summer of 1962, with the Beatles on the brink of stardom, Paul decided to call it quits with Dot. Despite the actual breakup being abrupt, she saw it coming. She ended up living with Cyn while she was pregnant. Dot moved to Canada when the group hit the big time.
