(Y/N)'s POV

"Oi! (Y/N)-san!"

I was startled by a sudden yell from Midori-san. "Y-yes, Midori-san?"

"Don't just sit there staring into space and help us here! The team will have their break soon and we need to prepare their water and towels, so move it!" Midori demanded, hands on her waist, eyes were darker than her hair and she was about to devour me. Neeesshh..

I suddenly jolted from my seat and scratched my head as I walked towards my fellow managers.

"What's wrong with you?!" Midori asked as I helped them gather towels.

"N-nothing," I lied.

Yes, it's a lie. Today was just another ordinary day at soccer practice, nothing special, I've done my work routines perfectly and my mind was fully set to finishing my responsibilities at class and at the soccer club. Until... my ultimate crush, Raimon's soccer team captain, Shindou Takuto starts kicking the ball at soccer practice, and damn! He's so hot! Yeap, he just ruined this day like what he did to my other days. I should've gotten used to it but it seems that no matter how hard I try to focus, my mind goes nowhere.

Sometimes I think that he had casted a spell on me, I mean, he's simply irresistible. How can this guy be so gorgeous? It isn't surprising that he has a lot of fangirls mooning over him, which makes me think, guuhh... I don't have a single chance on him. Anyway, going back to Midori scolding me for being such an irresponsible and distracted manager-----

"Nothing?!" Midori raised a brow at me.

"Y-y-yes! N-nothing!" I stuttered. She's scary.

"I don't believe you. Better fix that problem or else, we'll force you to quit the soccer club!"

"Sorry! It won't happen again," the thought of quitting the soccer club made me shiver. Quitting would mean not seeing Shindou more often.

"You better take it seriously," Midori sternly said.

"Hai! I will!" I motioned a sign of salute.

"Good! Here, give this to captain," Midori threw a water bottle at me and I instantly caught it.

"To captain?! But why to him?!" I asked surprised. No, no, I don't want to give this to him. I might melt.

"What? You wanna drink that instead?" Midori's tone sounded irritated.

"Ah no! That's not what I meant. Right, right. To captain," I carefully held the towel and water bottle then patiently waited as the team headed for the benches to take a break.

"And this one too! Give this to Tsurugi!" Midori threw another water bottle at me and I also caught it. She always does that every practice so my reflexes have already gotten used to it.

"Hey, (Y/N)..." captain's voice almost made me melt. He was wiping his forehead with the towel I gave him.

"Uhh, hey?" I responded.

Shindou looked at me worriedly. "You okay? Why does your face look red?"

My face is red? My face is red?! "Uhh, no, it's nothing. It's just the hot weather," I immediately turned to leave.

"Uh, (Y/N)-chan.. matte," I hear Shindou say then he grabbed me by the arm, making me turn back to him. I felt as if his hand had electrical charges as it touched my skin.

"Uhh, yes, captain? I still have to give Tsurugi his bottle of water," I nervously said.

Shindou let go of me. "Yeah but, you haven't given me my bottle of water," he scratched his head.

"Oh right!" I mentally facepalmed. I hastily gave him the bottle and without a word, I dashed away from him. Yeah, Tsurugi-kun was just two steps away but I literally dashed for I'm about to collapse in front of Shindou.

(Shindou's POV)

Damn, I'm so thirsty. Today's weather is extremely hot. But wait, what's with (Y/N) a while ago? Her face looked so red and she seems out of focus she even forgot to give me my bottle when she was right in front of me. I looked at her as I drank incessantly. She was giving a towel and bottle of water to Tsurugi and I remember she was in a hurry a while ago, hmm. Maybe she likes Tsurugi?

I sighed. I've known her since she entered the soccer club as a manager and as time went by, I had found her really interesting. I wanted to tell her how much I like her, but right now, it seems that she likes someone else. I sighed again. Maybe I don't stand a chance with her.

Practice ended and we were all set to go home. As I turned to one corner, who would be there but the soccer club's managers talking.

"Come on! There's no harm in trying! Who knows, he likes you back too!" I hear Midori-chan say to (Y/N)-chan.

"Well, you've squeezed it out of me, but I'm not squeezing it out on him! There's no way I'm gonna do that!" (Y/N)-chan defensively answered. "Besides, I think he doesn't like me back."

Who are they talking about? I stood behind the corner so they won't see me.

(Y/N)'s POV

They're killing me. A while ago, Midori-san had dragged me in the corner after practice and insisted that I tell her why I'm so distracted these days. She says I should let them know so they could do something about it or help me with it. Which I know, they won't be able to. But they said it's for my own good. But no, they really won't be able to help me.

Yet I was still able to blurt it out to them.

"I love Shindou-sama, okay?!" this was immediately followed by a hand clamped on my mouth and my eyes widening, realizing that I just told them my secret.

And as expected, Midori-san convinced me that I should tell Shindou how I feel. No. No. No. A "No" bigger than the soccer field. I'm not doing that. If I do, Shindou might think that I'm a freak.

"Come on! There's no harm in trying! Who knows, he likes you back too!" Midori-san insisted.

"Well, you've squeezed it out of me, but I'm not squeezing it out on him! There's no way I'm gonna do that!" I answered. "Besides, I think he doesn't like me back."

And after that, I found myself running away from them. As I turned around the corner, ARI!!! I bumped into someone. We both fell and now I was on top of him.

I tried to support myself with my hands, shook my head and shoved my hair from my face. Who on earth was blocking my way to----------------

"Shi-shi-shi-shin-sama?!" I blurted out as I recognized the person I bumped into. I felt my face heat up and large drops of sweat literally falling on my back.

"(Y/N)-chan..." my name rolled out of his tongue like sweet honey. He was holding me firmly in the same position, me on top of him. It made me blush even more!

I tried to get up but Shindou tightened his grip on my shoulders making me fall back on him, my face just a few centimeters away from his. If this isn't a metaphor, I'd be setting my face on fire because of my blush.

"I heard your conversation with the other managers," Shindou almost whispered. What?! He heard that? Seriously, my face is gonna burn.

"Who were you talking about?" he asked.

"Uhh..." I muttered. I'm still uneasy in our position right now.

"You were talking about Tsurugi, weren't you?"

"No! Not him! I was talking about you!" great. I wasn't able to stop my mouth from saying that. "Uhh..."

"Y-you love me?" Shindou asked, his eyes looked hopeful.

I guess I couldn't lie to him anymore. "Yes. Yes I do," I closed my eyes. I wanted to hope that this was just a dream and someone would pinch me to wake me up. But the next thing that shot my eyes open was something soft that touched my lips. Shi-shi-shindou kissed me!

My eyes were still in shock by what was going on. I looked at Shindou and his eyes were closed. He forced his tongue into my mouth, asking for entrance. I don't know why what where when how but I gave in. I let him kiss me passionately.

When he finally broke off our kiss, he looked me in the eyes and said, "I love you too..."

I felt relieved. From this moment, I could see better days ahead. No more distractions? I'm not sure. But then, I immediately blushed again, realizing that I was still on top of Shindou, so I immediately got up. He held my hand as we walked out of school.

"Well..." I hear Midori-san say just a few feet behind us. "We still expect you not to be distracted again..."

I just let out a nervous laugh and continued walking with Shindou.

Gin: Oh yeah! It's my fixed break at the office so I took it. What do you think, Shin-sama?

Shindou: Hmm.. Not bad.

Tenma: Who's next?

Gin: Good question! That'll be you.

Tenma: **bright eyes** Really?! **holds pom poms**

Gin: Yeah, but you have to let go of those pom poms first.

Tenma: But they're adorable!

Gin: ...

Tenma: Okay. **gives pom poms to Kariya**

Kariya: Alright! It's my turn to pumpapump these!

Gin: Something bad is about to happen.
