The future of BGSC

Hello! I wanna say right out the gate, BGSC in its current form is discontinued. Current form a DSMP fanfic. I'm actually turning BGSC into an original story, featuring OCs instead of DSMP characters, since it's already so different from the source material. There are a few reasons why I came to this decision, but the main two are:

1. Turning it into an original story gives me more freedom with the stories, characters, and their backstories.
2. I'm quickly moving away from the DSMP fandom as a whole, and while I still love tntduo, I've lost the motivation to make most media that's based around it.

I still have a lot of love this story and I don't think I could ever bring myself to get rid of it, so it's just taking on a new life so to speak. If you wanna see more of the characters or learn more about them, feel free to follow my Instagram @jammybamfbammy. I'll probably post about them more there, and if I don't, feel free to DM me.
I understand this is probably disappointing after such a long wait for more BGSC content, but I think this is the best choice for me and the story itself. I won't leave you hanging though! As a special treat, I'm going to give you what I started writing of chapter 3, as well as chapter summaries for all the chapters me and Spin originally had planned! Enjoy!

Chapter 3- Something Goopy

Quackity makes his way from his own office to Eret's office just down the hall, his hands shoved lazily in his pockets, doing his best to ignore Wilbur standing over him as they walk. Despite Wilbur's obnoxiously loud voice and overwhelming presence, it was surprisingly easy to ignore him when he rambled on about an obscure topic that Quackity had no interest in. As they moved closer to the office door, Wilbur wrapped up his little ramble.

"Can you believe that?" He asked, exasperated.

"Believe what?" Quackity stops in front of the door, prompting Wilbur to do the same.

"You weren't listening, were you?"
Quackity only smiles before gently pushing the door open. Eret sits in the chair at his desk, his boots resting atop his desk, as he idly flips through papers. She looks up as the door creaks open and gives the two of them a smile. They reposition themself, moving their legs so that they're under the table, a bit more formal. Quackity walks in and calmly takes a seat in the only other chair in the room. Wilbur opts to stay standing, leaning against the desk instead.

"Good to see you! I have another case for the two of you." Eret sets the folder of papers he was just flipping through onto the desk, gently pushing them towards the duo. Quackity nods.

"Figured as much." He pulls the folder closer to himself, reading through it with no care as to whether or not Wilbur sees.

"First things first I want to let you know you will be working with a third person for this case."
Quackity loudly groans.

"You're joking."

"Unfortunately, no." Eret replies, doing her best to stifle a laugh.

"I think that sounds lovely," Wilbur butts in, grinning down at Quackity before turning his attention back to Eret. "Who is it?"

"Charlie Slimecicle, undercover cop, master of disguise." they spin around idly in their chair as they speak. "He should be here riiight..." without warning, a figure pops up in between Wilbur and Quackity, seemingly out of nowhere.

"Hello!"
Wilbur gasps and jumps back in surprise.

"Jesus!" Wilbur releases his breath as he settles down from the shock. "You almost gave me a heart attack!" The man now standing next to him looked up at him with a smile.

"Sorry." He was a young man with carefully styled dirty blonde hair and black square glasses. Wilbur looks past him to see that, to his complete surprise, Quackity is smiling. Really, genuinely, smiling. If ever so slightly.

"Good to see you again Charlie." Quackity says, not a hint of sarcasm in his tone, completely genuine. Wilbur is flabbergasted. Charlie looks at him and smiles.

"You too Quackity!"

"Good! Seems you two get along. Maybe this will be easier than expected." Eret smiles, somewhat relieved.

"It would be easier if Soot didn't have to come." Quackity mutters. Wilbur gasps and places his hand on his chest, mocking offense.

"Hey, you're the one who agreed to partner with him." Eret shoots a glare at Quackity, who sinks back in his chair and rolls his eyes. Charlie seems entirely disinterested in the conversation happening around him. "Now about the actual case, we've recently uncovered the plans of an unidentified drug dealer who we have reason to believe works for an underground drug cartel. From what we've discovered they're going to meet at the Diamond Bar and Casino for their next deal this Friday night."

"Isn't that the fancy rich place downtown?" Wilbur asks.

"It is one of the many fancy rich places downtown, yes. Your job is to sneak in, identify the criminal, and hopefully arrest them. Hence why you'll be working with Charlie. I honestly don't trust either of you to pretend to not be cops. Charlie will teach you everything you need to know." Charlie gives Eret a thumbs up.

"We're not cops, we're detectives." Quackity corrects. Eret scoffs.

"Same difference to me."
Quackity stands up and scoots the chair in.

"I think that's plenty of information, thank you Eret."

"Take the case file with you, dummy." Eret holds up the folder that was once on the desk. Wilbur gently takes it from her and nods. "Oh, and, detectives, let Charlie take the lead. He knows what he's doing, just listen to him. There's no point in trying to keep an eye on him." Quackity looks around the room, but Charlie is already long gone, not a trace of him ever being there to begin with. "Good luck! Now get out of my office."

Unfortunately that's all I got to write of chapter 3. Maybe I'll continue you with the original characters! Onto the chapter summaries.

Episode 3 - Something Goopy
Wilbur meets the elusive Charlie, code name Slimecicle, although not under the best circumstances as both he and Quackity are put on a case to work undercover with the spy. While Charlie shows off his undercover skills, Quackity and Wilbur struggle to keep up, not only trying not to blow their covers or the mission entirely.

Episode 4 - Scrambled
Wilbur and Quackity are tasked with undermining a cult that sparked up in Las Nevadas. Going undercover and infiltrating the cult dubbed the Eggpire, the two at first don't notice anything suspicious. That is until a red egg is brought out and the cult members claim the egg demands for murder and havoc. Now the two have to find a way to shut down the operation without blowing their cover and not getting brainwashed at the same time.

Episode 5 - Dreaming up a Murder
As Wilbur and Quackity grow closer together as partners (although Quackity would never admit it) the two find themselves pulled into a case regarding a man named Fundy who seems to be growing more paranoid and psychotic as the days go on. The two have to deal with weird dreams, weird behaviour, and some awkward conversations as the two try to figure out what could be causing Fundy's change in behaviour... or maybe they are dealing with a potential psychopath.

Episode 6 - Arguing and Hunting and Arguing
Now officially partners, Wilbur and Quackity are teamed together with a local bounty hunter, tasked with hunting down the head of a criminal organization. Things seem to be going great until Quackity and Wilbur continually come close to compromising the mission thanks to their arguing. The three eventually (and reluctantly) put aside their differences to finally catch the culprit.

Episode 7 - Who's ready for the CON-ival?
Quackity and Wilbur couldn't be more displeased when they learn they are joining forces with the infamous conman, JSchlatt. After Schlatt comes to the two detectives with assistance on getting back at some employees at a local carnival who scammed Schlatt. The two reluctantly agree and uncover something much worse than a scam.

Episode 8 - Adventures in Arson and Babysitting
In this episode, Quackity and Wilbur are joined by Wilbur's kid brother, Tommy. The two detectives were supposed to be investigating a series of connected arson attacks that occurred in the Las Nevadas areas, but it proves to be more difficult with the "aid" of Tommy. Wilbur attempts to keep his cool, especially since Tommy wasn't even supposed to be joining them in the first place. The situation only gets worse as the detectives discover it's a group of arsonists and Tommy decides to make the executive decision by secretly joining the two detectives on their way to take down the dangerous group.

Episode 9 - The True Crime Kids 2 (fewer pranks cannot be guaranteed)
After the last situation with Tommy, all Quackity wants to do is NOT work with kids again. Until, of course, Tubbo and Ranboo, retired pranksters (at least they claim to be), are put together with Wilbur and Quackity on case. The teens were only supposed to shadow the detectives on the case, but an argument between the two leads to the teens being forced to pick a side. Now the teens not only have to make sure the detectives solve the case, but that they all put aside their differences for once and learn how to get along.

Episode 10 - Singing, Dancing, and Murder!?
Wilbur decides to finally get the courage to ask Quackity out (but it is most definitely NOT a date) The two head to a karaoke bar for a fun evening that quickly goes sour as soon as Wilbur dedicates a song to the uptight detective. While Wilbur fumbles to apologize for his irrational behavior, a murder springs up at the same karaoke bar the two were at. Now the two detectives have to work together once more and try to put aside their awkwardness and catch the cold blooded killer.

Episode 11 - Dadza's back in town
Retired chief of police, Philza, returns to the department to help Quackity and Wilbur on a case. While Quackity couldn't be more pleased, working with the great Philza himself, Wilbur can't help but hate the fact that Philza is working with the two. Wilbur and Phil never had a good father-son relationship, and that was made clear with how much Phil would berate Wilbur anytime he did something wrong. While Quackity doesn't think much of it at first, he soon sees the toxicity in the two's broken bonds and has to think of a way to save Wilbur before he's pushed to the brink of quitting his job altogether.

Episode 12 - True Crime Kids 3 (Spooky Scary Skeletons)
The police department is haunted. Or so it seems. After some strange occurrences begin to pop up around the department; things moving on their own, voices being heard, Quackity and Wilbur find themselves once again partnering with not only the True Crime Kids, but also Tommy, who is close friends with the other two teens. The five try to figure out if these mysterious occurrences are paranormal or perhaps there is someone else pulling the strings.

Episode 13 - Meet the Brother
Wilbur and Quackity are investigating another case, but this one hits more close to home as Wilbur's older brother, Technoblade, is a lead suspect. While Quackity couldn't be happier to try and get Techno put behind bars (the two have a... rough history) Wilbur has to fight for his own brothers' innocence while also searching for the real criminal behind it all.

Episode 14 - untitled
Quackity and Wilbur find themselves on a case that once more hits the two hard; Tommy has been kidnapped by none other than two arsonists from the group the detectives had believed to be taken down. The two detectives have to work fast as the clock is ticking on Tommy's ransom and his life.

Episode 15 - Solving the Symphony
Wilbur, after doing some personal investigation on a case, finds himself pulled into something bigger than he had previously thought that ends up with him getting shot and captured. Now, Quackity has to piece together the clues Wilbur uncovered on said case and work as fast as possible to save his partner before things take a turn for the worse. Wilbur, meanwhile, has to do his best to stay alive and find his own way out of this situation without losing his life in the process.

this marks the turning point in the story where the two start dating

Episode 16 - Ex marks the spot
After the traumatic events from a month ago along with the two revealing their feelings for each other, Wilbur and Quackity finally decide to hop back on another case. However, unbeknownst to them, the case involves working with two detectives from another area... two detectives that both happen to be Quackity's exs. Tensions are high as the four attempt to work together, which proves even more difficult as Wilbur and Quackity continually try to hide their relationship.

Episode 17 - Bad Blood
Wilbur, after dramatizing a small cold, takes a couple of sick days, forcing Quackity to work alongside his rival, Clay, on a case. The two struggle to get along as they work on the case, arguing constantly and almost blowing the case entirely. Quackity only grows more suspicious of Clay throughout the case and Wilbur tries his best to help from being stuck in bed.

Episode 18 - A Killer Date
As Wilbur and Quackity grow closer, they decide to go out, inviting Clay and George to join them. The four go out hoping for a lovely evening that quickly turns sour as shots are fired at the restaurant, specifically at Clay. The four realize Clay has a target on his back for unknown reasons as someone continually tries to hunt down the head detective. While Clay, Wilbur, and Quackity try to find out who, Quackity begins to wonder what exactly led to someone wanting to kill Clay. Perhaps his suspicions were never that far off...

Episode 19 - Guilty until Proven Innocent
Quackity finds himself getting caught up in a high profile case that pins him as the lead suspect. While all evidence points to him, Wilbur refuses to believe it's Quackity, trying his best to now investigate the closed case and find the true culprit. He has to figure out how to prove Quackity's innocence before it's too late and he loses Quackity forever.

Episode 20 - The Obligatory Beach Episode
After the stress of almost being thrown in jail, on top of the stress from previous cases, Wilbur and Quackity decide to take a break and go on vacation for a week. The week is then cut short when the two find their room robbed and Wilbur grows frantic upon realizing an important, unknown item was taken. The two now have to find their belongings (and Wilbur's special item) before they risk losing them forever.

Episode 21 - The Finale Pt. 1
The infamous serial killer, Dream, strikes again in the Las Nevadas area, this time striking the same gang of criminals that attempted to keep Quackity behind bars. The chief, after seeing Clay getting nowhere with the cold case, decides to add Quackity and Wilbur to the investigation. While all three seem to come up with nothing, Quackity begins to throw accusations at Clay after a hunch. When evidence starts to disappear and now Quackity's relationship is on the line, Quackity starts to think that perhaps he was too quick to jump to conclusions...

Episode 22 - The Finale Pt. 2
Quackity's gone missing with no clues pointing to where or why he left. While at first it seems he left for a surprise vacation, Wilbur suspects something sinister is going on, especially after the call he received from Quackity a few nights ago. Joining forces with George, the two begin to take a deeper look into Dream's doings...

The fic would end with an intense showdown been Wilbur, Quackity, and Dream, where Dream is successfully arrested and tntduo lives happily yay :)
Thanks to everyone who stuck around this long, especially if you were here since I posted the first chapter, it really means a lot to me that you're willing to stick around so long and care so much about my stories.
As a short side note- i am going to continue to update and edit Treasure is for Taking as it's a big passion project of mine and I will not die until it is finished and I'm happy with the result. But after the TIFT finale goes up, it's bye bye to the DSMP fandom. I've had a great time here. See y'all round!
