Marucho

It has been ten days since we discovered about Dan and Kayla being siblings. Still I am still amazed about Kayla's Bakugan, Leonidas. 

Leo is a Bakugan from the Doom Dimension, and it seems kind of mysterious since that we don't know anything about the Dimension , or about what capabilities that Kayla and Leonidas can do together. 

Shun sees me, as he ask, "You feeling all right, Marucho?" 

"Oh, yeah, just that New Vestoria is under attacked again, and it feels like everything is upside down!" 

"Oh, c'mon, it's not entirely that bad, besides, we have each other, the Bakugan Brawlers! " He said, trying to cheer me up. 

"Yeah, I guess. But does it seem like a total surprise to learn that Dan has a sister? How come he didn't tell us that?" I exclaimed. 

The Brawler raises an eyebrow at me, "Are you feeling jealous of Dan , Marucho?" 

I said, "Me, jealous?!? No, of course not! It's just that I'm a little stunned here. Don't you feel the same way?"

The Brawler said, "Nah, I think it's kind of a cool thing that Dan has a sister. It would take him a lot of things to think about, and I bet that he is still amazed and totally trying his best of maintain the situation as not just a leader of the Bakugan Brawlers, but also being a brother to Kayla." 

"Yeah, you're right. " Alice said, "It's a new adjustment for both of them." 

Kayla

I am still in awe of how much power Leonidas contained. As I walked with Leo, he asks, "Is something bothering you, Kayla?"

"I am just worried. I know that Kali is still out there, I still have the Link . It kind of feels weird to say the least." I replied to my partner. 

"I'm sure that we'll figure all of this out, Kayla. You're not alone in this situation. You got the Bakugan Brawlers by our side to figure things out." Leo said. 

I smiled at the blue Bakugan as if he knew exactly what he meant.

"Thanks, I guess I needed that. Where's Dan and Drago?" I ask. 

I saw my brother and his partner. "Dan!" 

He turns around, "Oh, hey, Kayla. " 

I still see in his eyes that he felt bad about what happened , been controlled by Kali and Makua like a lifeless puppet and nearly killing his own sister. 

"Dan... you still feel bad about what happened, don't you? That Kali and Makua used you as a bait for Leonidas and me?" 

"I just can't believe that I tried to kill you, my own little sister that I didn't know about! Uh, I feel so stupid!" He said, banging on the wall. 

"Oh, Dan." I said, hating of seeing my brother like this. I know it's not entirely his fault, and he shouldn't blame himself. 

The Final Orb. That is what Kali and Makua is after , and I don't want it to be in the wrong hands. 

Drago ask, "If The Final Orb is anything like the Sacred Orb, why would Makua and Kali want it so badly?"

I said, "I don't know, but it would be harder to keep it hidden for long. Makua and I still can link, and I can feel him, emotionally." 

Dan said, "Wait, really? How can you possibly still have the Link? When I was linked with Brodious, the effect only starts when we are closer to one other. " 

"I don't know exactly. I just feel it. Kali is plotting something big, and it's not going to be entirely easy." 

We were silent as Fabia said, "Dan, there is someone who wants to see you right away." 

Dan blinks, "Who want to see me?" 

As we walked, to our greatest surprise , it was Meera and Spectra!

"Meera!  Keith!" I said, happily as Meera grins at me. 

Keith

I have to admit, I never thought I would see Dan again. It seems so long ago I was an enemy to him. 

Marucho said, "What a surprise! I didn't know you and Keith would be here." 

"Well, it was Fabia who escorted us here. She told us that there was a Doom Dimension Bakugan and Meera and I wanted to see it ourselves." 

"Oh, you must talking about Kayla and her partner, Leonidas. " I said, as she waves at us nervously but then turns to Dan. 

"Dan, who are these guys?"  Kayla asks. 

"Oh, right, I totally forgot that you haven't met. Well, this is Keith and his sister, Meera.  When we first met here, she lead the Bakugan Resistance against the Vestals.

Keith is also called Spectra. His partner is Drago's ultimate rival." Dan explains. 

Kayla said, "Amazing, Dan, it sounds amazing. I'm totally impressed by you and the Bakugan Brawlers to make allies like Fabia and the Bakugan Resistance." 

I coughed, "So , you must be Kayla then. It's an honor to meet you, if the situation isn't so serious. " 

"Dan, we came to help you fight against Kali and her plans. " Meera explains . 

"Awesome! Glad to have you aboard, you guys. By the way... this may be a shock to you, but Kayla isn't just any  Brawler. "

I ask, "What you mean?" 

"Well, to be totally honest, Kayla is also... " Shun begin to explain , but Kayla spoke for him. 

"That I am Dan's little sister, Kayla Cusco." 

Meera and I were in total shock by this revelation. 

"You can't be serious." I said, as Dan nods, confirming what Kayla said was true. "It's true. Kayla is actually my little sister. 

I hardly believe it myself, but it looks like she needs us more than ever. " 

Dan brought us to speed as we listened to their story of how they met and Kayla needs to protect the Final Orb that Wavern has given to Leonidas. 

"Whoa, that sounds like work that cut out for all of us ." I said. 

Kayla said, standing up, 'Well, I don't want to stay here and do nothing! Kali is still out there, and we have to think of something fast." 

"Yeah, but what? I mean, face it, Leonidas has something that Kali wants so badly. Would you want to risk everything?" Shun asks. 

"Well, we will figure it out for sure." Meera said, "Besides, the Bakugan Resistance  wouldn't give in so easily."

Dan said, "Well, let's go for some training. Keith , are you ready for a practice Brawl with me, just to get psych out?"

I chuckled, "Gee, it seems like you haven't changed one bit, Dan." 

But I do worry about him. I know that this wouldn't be entirely easy of keeping not just the Final Orb safe from Kali, but how to keep his only sibling safe from any danger. 

I really hope that Dan knows what is at stake, or else New Vestoria would be in terrible danger.
