I rushed up the stairs to my apartment, my bag flies all over the place as I hurried up the wooden steps. I made it to a entry hallway, dim lighting and doors on each side. Groaning loudly I slowed down at my door, clicking it open in such a hurry to eat food. I was starving. Walking in and slamming it shout with a bang.

"Oni-chan!" A voice called, for a moment I paused. Frowning, my leather bag slowly slid off my shoulder and into the floor."Senpai?" I said looking to see a group of friends sitting on the couch. I rushed up to a sitting Kayla and hugged her tightly."How long have you lot been in my apartment?" I asked, but the answer wasn't from Kayla. A deep voice called."Well, since I've been here cleaning for you, Jordana and Leah came her with Justin roughly a hour a ago then Kayla...maybe shortly after?"It was Taehyung. His voice deep, before adding"an holly, she tagged along with Kayla."

I furrowed my eye brows,"wait—where is Holly?". I looked around, I didn't see her sitting with the group of friends. hesitating, I stepped forward a muffled voice was heard."Aye! Watch it I'm down here!" I looked down at my feet to see a rolling holly with a bag on nachos."Get up you!" I cooed in delight as I saw the youngers face. Holly poked at tongue out at me and rolled away, to the couch where the others sat. I walked up to Leah and Jordana, cuddling my close friends."sup my homie G!" Jordana waved her free arms in the air, giving me a high five. Letting out a giggle, I spoke to Leah."hello my twin!" I joke. Leah and I giggled, taking me back to when I first met the girl. Jordana, had introduced me to her. We had talked for a bit, until we both found out we had our birthday on the same day. That's how we became closer as friends and started to talk more.

I walked around to Justin who was doing some sketching, poked his cheek to make it less awkward so no hugs for him. Justin was funny, and always fun to hang out with, always had a idea and talked when he needed to. Then there's Kayla, loud, bubbly, open and talkative. As for Holly she's basically like Kayla, but different in some ways such as food. Holly was a fuss pot over what she ate. But, she sings aloud bouncing all around the place. Then there's Jordana, who draws dragons every now and then, doing horse riding and ice skating. Along with skateboarding, which I cannot do since how busy I am, plus I'm not risking falling over and face planting on a concrete pathway, or even worse a dogcrap. Lastly, there's Taehyung. He's my closest friend. When I moved into my new apartment, he had offered to help me out. No matter how much I declined he just wave his hands and smiled always saying 'It's okay, I'll help you either way'. Ever since he's been helping me through my life, since my parents couldn't afford to accomplish my daily needs, and I blamed that on there low paying jobs. I love my parents either way, they wanted the best for me. They made me who I am today.

Now I have a job, doing long days of studying in my free time ever since I dropped out of high school. My job was average, placing books on racks in alphabetical order, from science to fantasy, to fantasy to mystery and so on. It was enough to pay for my bills, rent and food. Everything a human being needs. Taking off my long creamy- coloured coat, I walked to the kitchen picking up my bag and placing it on the marble bench that glittered in the light.

"Why were you late Lexi?" Justin didn't bother looking up, as he continued to draw his dog. "Well..."I began. "my boss offered me more money for a few more hours of placing books on shelf's, since I need the money I decided to stay." I shrugged,"and also needed to do studying as well" I added. I wasn't a know-it-all, but I was a normal, well bit of a weirdo 17 year old girl. I tried my best to learn new things and ask questions for some knowledge. I leaned back walking into the kitchen and flicked on the kettle switch. The water began to bubble and boil loudly steam blew out. I needed something warm I hated the cold. As I prepared my hot choco, Taehyung walked into the kitchen and stood behind me."I brought someone with me." He said softly, I turned and looked at him in confusion."I'm sorry what?" I asked.

I frowned hearing soft pattering sound. I walked towards my hallway, the sound was coming from my bathroom, and from the doorway of the tiled room, was a fluffy head poking out the corner. Yeontan.
"Come here you little lion!" I called, patting my legs. Littlepaws steps he took, as the small dog ran barked along the way. Jumping up, little Yeontan yapped, he may be small but he is loud. I picked him up, holding him near my face. Close enough, he licked at my nose, and all over as I giggled.

"Yay! You brought little lion!" Fluffing up his fur he'd bark loudly at my face."He's a loud dog," I remarked. Taehyung nodded, smiling as the small black and tanned dog squirmed around in my grasp." Thought he might want to say hi,"
He said while moving his grey locks away from his eyes. I gently put down the dog. The kettle had finished boiling, I offered hot chocolate to the gang."Me please." Justin said silently as Leah said the same thing followed by jordana, Kayla then holly went crazy for one. Apart from Taehyung he got up and walked rather close to me,"I'll help," he offered."Thanks," I smiled, gently poking his cheek directing him to the pantry to grab the tin of brown powder.

Moments later, were mugs of hot-steaming delicious hot chocolates. Sighing in satisfactory, I grabbed out a large glass jar of cookies to complete a nice night.
"Only two cookies each, I'm not paying for five dollar cookies again!" I teased, licking off the crumbs munching on mine while watching the others. Holly rushed up, first of course since it is food. Followed by the others, Taehyung was last. I smiled, gently rubbing my mug. My hands wrapped tightly around it for its warmth.

Lifting it to my mouth, I'd sip on it slowly and carefully not to burn my tongue. I smiled once again at Taehyung thanking him for his help. Moments later everyone else had finished there warm drink and snack, unlike me slowly nibbling on the cookies."I think I might go now, thanks for having us over." Leah spoke softly with her eyes locked with mine. I nodded to Leah."Anytime, just keep in mind you're all welcomed to come over anytime you'd like, and don't eat my nachos again" I added, crossing my arms, tapping my foot. Holly gave such a innocent look, putting on the puppy eyes I scoffed.

"Go on, you better go home to see your parents." Rolling my eyes I hugged all of them, apart from Justin. Saying my goodbye, my eyes full of sorrow as I mentioned the word parents. Shaking the emotion of sadness off, I watched out my glimmering window catching a glimpse of the group as the rushed off into the night screaming, laughing and messing around on the path. Shaking my head with a smile on my face, I felt an arm sling around my neck. Looking to the side, I came to face Taehyung.

"You can stay the night if you like, but I'm going to go get ready for a good nights sleep." Shrugging, I brushed off his arm and slowly stalked off to my bed."That'll be nice," He called softly. I smiled to myself, satisfied I closed my door getting out of my sweat shirt and long pants into a nice warm-silky t-shirt and a pair of grey track pants. Yawning softly, stretching my short arms into the air and flopped limp on my bed, shoving my face into my pillow and getting under the quilt, plus the sheet I dozed off into the cold winter night.

My eyes flutter open, as the sunlight beamed through the window. Squinting, slowly getting up I lift my arms in the air arching my back. Slightly slouching, I walked out my room to the couch. Lifting a eyebrow, my eyes widened like owls. Panicking I looked around until-I came to find a sleepy Taehyung. I'm such an idiot, I forgot he stayed the night. Facepalming myself I stomped off to the kitchen. My slippers muffled the stomping thankfully. Grabbing out pot of coffee, I put it on the stove. Hearing a groan from the couch, I was guessing Taehyung was awake, ready to have some coffee of course. The tasty scent of the drink whiffed up my nose, Inhaling the beauty of the scent and breathed out.

"Morning," Said a sleepy Taehyung, His hair was a mess. Taehyung shuffles
to the island bench and took a seat followed by little Yeontan tilting his head. I bet the little dog was hungry so filling up a bowl of left over meat, I'd place it on the ground. Yeontan dug into it already impatiently. Getting up, I looked at the time.

"Oh dang I'm going to be late!" Shrieking, I rushed over to my bedroom ripping off my favourite blue sweat shirt off the coat hanger and a nice comfy pair of grey track pants. Stripping down immediately I dumped my pj's on my large sized bed."Taehyung take the coffee off please!" I called, running to the bathroom and fixed my messed up bed hair. Sprinting out straight to the kitchen to see Taehyung pouring it in a cup for me.

"Thank you! I'll see you when I get back!" Grabbing the coffee and smiled my eyes wide, slung my bag over my shoulder. I went to my rack and snatch off the coat. Opening the door, and turning swiftly the wooden door slammed. Then I was gone down the stairs, and straight to my car.
Taehyung watched from the window laughing to himself as Yeontan sat by his feet.
I'm going to be late.
