Sahil: I dont think neil went on the pretext of work avni

Avni: I agree but how do we figure out where he is as the calls are going straight to voicemail.

Both thought for a second when they realised

Avni/sahil: vidyut they both said in one go

Avni dialled vidyut number but it was going on voicemail each time she called

Avni: just great y do these police officers keep phones if they dont have time to answer she said frustrated

Sahil held avni shoulder as she tried to dial vidyut number again

Sahil: aviii calm down... we should go to police station first instead of trying to contact vidyut

Avni slowly nodded but with full speed headed out grabbing the car keys followed by sahil

20 minutes later both avni and vidyut reached to the police station to see dd walking towards his desk

Avni: dd avni called out a little loudly making few people look towards them and get back to their work

Dd: avni bhabhi you here? Did you need anything?

Avni: do you know where Neil went ?

Dd frowned

Dd: where else would he go after completing his duty? Home na he said looking at avni and then sahil

Avni: that's the issue he isn't at home as he told ma that he had to go out of town for some case

Dd: case he mumbled to himself

Sahil: dd where is vidyut?

Dd: in his cabin he said pointing to which avni walked towards while sahil thanked him

Avni barged into vidyut cabin who was writing something in a file and seeing her walk in like that made vidyut surprised

Vidyut: avni? What happened all good?

Avni: you would have known if you had answered the call she said annoyingly

Vidyut: sorry yaar...i had a meeting regarding a case which just finished few minutes ago otherwise you know i would have answered

Avni closed her eyes

Avni: I'm sorry vidyut I didn't mean to react that way

Vidyut: we all know you very well so there is no need to give any explanation..now tell me what happened ?

Avni and sahil told vidyut everything

Vidyut: as far as I know there is no case but to confirm let me just call the commissioner and find out ok

Avni nodded while vidyut made the call

After few minutes vidyut ended the call

Vidyut: neil hasn't gone for any case in fact he told commissioner that he wanted to take some time off.

Sahil: do you know where he could be?

Vidyut: maybe but maybe not he said thinking if neil could be where he useto spend his time after avni had left

Avni: maybe? Then confirm this maybe of yours vidyut please...Is there any way you can trace his call

"Ahem ahem "

Suddenly all turned towards the door

Dd: sorry for ears dropping but I traced neil sir location

Vidyut: for the first time you did something genius mere sher tell us where is he

Dd: his condo he said looking at sahil, vidyut and then avni at last

Vidyut: I knew it he said mumbling making avni and sahil look at him

Dd: wow sir you have also become genius like me he said cracking up but stopped slowly seeing vidyut glare at him

Avni: condo avni said slowly when vidyut spoke

Vidyut: when you had gone neil got that condo but soon him spending time over there increased..it was a way for him to get away from everyone to hide his emotions in a way he said placing a hand on top of her shoulder and squeezed it

Avni: I was in pain but he was also in pain and that truth cannot be ignored but not anymore not anymore she said shaking her head

Sahil: where are you going he said stopping avni as he saw her about to walk away

Avni: to neil she said giving him a "are you for serious* look

Sahil: you can't go to him avni...not so easily he said sternly making avni, vidyut and dd look at him

Avni: what do you mean I can't go to him sahil she said not understanding y sahil is stopping her now

Sahil: because I said so.. we are going home right now he said grabbing her hand

Avni: no..you can go where you want to but right now I want to go to neil

Sahil: first let's go home avni pleaseee...please he said the last bit pleadingly

Avni didn't answer him and removed his grip from her hand shaking her head...

Avni: I have delayed..neil also delayed but not anymore... she said her voice a little shaky but also strong at the same time

Dd, vidyut and sahil watched as avni walked out of the cabin

She opened the car door and was about to sit in the driving seat when sahil came and moved her away

Sahil: sit on the passenger seat I'm driving

Avni nodded and moved to the other side while sahil got in

Sahil slowly drove out of the police station

Avni: sahil take a left from here as I know what route neil had taken when he had taken me to the condo first time...I'll keep on guiding you the direction she said looking at him and then out of the window

Sahil didn't say anything and took a left

Avni: take a right after the cake store she said

She expected sahil to follow her instruction but instead of a right he took a left which avni noticed when she had looked up from her phone

Avni: sahil I said right not left she spoke

Sahil: I know avni and I'm taking the right route which goes straight to khanna mansion

Avni: are you out of your mind sahil...I told you I'm going to neil and here I thought you changed your mind and decided to take me to him but no. She said shouting

Sahil: keep shouting all you want avni but trust me on this

Avni: I trust you but I dont know y the hell you want me to go to khanna mansion when i clearly should be somewhere else

Sahil: y are you so eager to go to neil now? If he hadn't confessed and left like this would you react the same way ? He said looking at her for a sec and the ahead of him

Avni looked at sahil for few seconds

Avni: I dont know how I would have reacted but for sure I know that I wouldn't have been OK...now just stop the car ill take a cab while you can go to the khanna mansion

Sahil: this car will stop at khanna mansion only avni

Avni: then I might as well jump out she said about to open the car door but sahil pulled her back, in that process as he looked at her but when he looked ahead he saw a truck coming their way while avni also looked shockingly

Avni: is this the end avni thought as she saw sahil trying to get the car back on track while the truck driver kept on pressing the horn

Few minutes later

Sahil looked at avni as she was still in a daze

Sahil: avni he whispered slowly as he placed a hand on her shoulder making her come back to reality

She noticed her surrounding to see the car parked on the side and then turned to sahil to see no trace of injury

Avni: I'm so sorry...I'm so so sorry I risked not only my life but youra too...i was being foolish by trying to jump out of the car I'm so sorry she said as sahil hugged her trying to sooth her down

Sahil: it's OK avi...I know you... just keep calm ok he said cupping her cheek as she nodded slowly quickly wiping her tears

Sahil started the car and drove to the khanna mansion without an argument this time

Meanwhile at the condo neil was looking at all the pending case files

He was trying so hard to distract himself ever since he arrived at the condo but only avni kept coming in his mind...it only had been 10 mins when he finally got engrossed into one of the cases... as he opened his laptop to update the case info on to the system he saw a group pic of the gang pop up but on the group pic his eyes landed onto a particular person making him distracted again

Swollwing the lump he traced her face with his fingers as if she was really there and slowly smiled...realising what he was doing he closed the laptop and sat back on his chair.

Neil: get a grip neil khanna and concentrate he said to himself

He grabbed the file and tried to concentrate on it but then thought if avni would have seen the letter or if she still must be out with sahil

Neil: just be happy and look after yourself chatterbox he said slowly...

He even kept his phone on flightmode as he didn't want to receive any calls at this moment otherwise he was sure avni would have called by now if she would have seen it...his heart and mind knew that she wouldn't have been happy seeing the letter and the move he made

He closed the file and walked towards the small kitchen area to make himself some hot coffee

As he started to make it a smile appeared on his face recalling avni making coffee for both of them

Neil: if avni can live with my memorise that we had created in the past then even I can right? He asked himself but was hoping for someone else to answer

Looking at the empty condo he went and sat in the balcony exactly where he and avni sat

Neil : I wish if we could have gone back in time but at the same time I'm happy that I got to know my feelings that even though I consider you my best friend I consider you even more than that...someone who made my heart behave differently...something that I never felt for mithali... but with you i just didn't want the moment to end...sometimes our expectation turn into reality and sometimes it stays as expectation.... I'll always miss you avni but I also know that I'll always love you ...my chatterbox will always keep my heart sealed with her Memories he spoke as he looked into space with a smile on his face but there was also tears in his eyes

Wiping his eyes he took a large sip of his coffee gulping the Warm liquid down

Neil: come on neil khanna time to get some work done then think about avni as much as u can he said to himself as he got up...

as he headed inside he grabbed his mobile and turned flight mode off...as soon as he placed it on the desk he heard too many notification sound from his phone... taking a deep breath he looked at the notification to see some work emails along with few calls that had been made by avni...he saw the number of times she had called and he felt guilty but he knew if he hadn't kept his phone on flight mode then he wouldn't have been able to avoid her calls....he checked if there was any more calls but there was none after that from avni or anyone else making him wonder if avni would have told anyone or not....not wanting to ponder over it now he placed his phone on the desk and sat down

at 11.55pm neil had finally succeeded into completing two of his files and headed to the washroom

Meanwhile shweta grabbed her phone and called neil...when he didn't answer first she tried again but after few rings it would go to voicemail

Shweta: bebe he is not answering she said turning to her

Bebe: try again he will answer at some point she said ignoring at all the noises coming from the background

Shweta nodded and continues to call neil

Back at the condo neil came out of the washroom drying his face with a towel

Shweta continued to call neil numerous times but since it had been on vibration mode he hadn't noticed until he walked over his desk to see his phone screen flashing

Neil: mom calling this late he said checking the time to see it 12am

As soon as he answered he heard crying in the background while shweta mumbled something

Neil: mom?...mom? What happened? And what's all that sound in the background he asked frowning

Shweta: neil...av...neil avnii...beta avni....accident she said crying not able to speak properly

Neil froze for a sec he felt as if his heart stopped beating for a sec

Neil: avni ? Is avni OK? Y did you say accident too mom tell me for god sake he said in one go

Shweta: just come to the city hospital asap beta pleaseee...come as soon as you can

Neil: I'm coming...just tell me that avni is fine he said grabbing his keys and headed out

Shweta: get here soon neil and see for yourself she said

Neil ended the call and ran to his jeep his heart was beating fast...eyes filled up with tears but he had to be strong and not over think

Nothing can happened to his avni he thought in head as he drove off

Precap: neil walked into the room where his family and metha family told avni was...taking small steps he saw a body on the stretcher which was covered with a white cloth
Taking small steps he continued walking slowly

As he reached closer with shaking hands he moved it to remove the sheets while his vision was slightly getting blurry due to the tears...as he removed the blanket he froze and took few steps back
