District 4 Male- Caol Marcus

Name: Caol Marcus

Age: Sixteen

District: Four

Gender: Male

Appearance: With his sandy blond hair and brilliant green eyes Caol does not really stand out in his District. His hair is always flopping into his face and into his eyes. No matter what he does with it will always flip downwards despite his efforts to snip it off. His green eyes shine like emeralds and are brooding with mystery and trouble that sometimes catch the attention of a passerby. Standing a little taller than usual Caol is used to having people look up to talk to him and he never slouches because he wants to show off his height. His skin tone will always remain in a dark tan from the beating sun from District four.

Personality: Caol is a huge prankster who loves to show off. He is happy and playful to a fault, using his wits to pull several shenanigans in his District resulting in him getting in trouble. No matter how hard he tries he cannot stop fidgeting and he is always tinkering with something, whether it be wires or nuts and bolts. In his free time, you would see him pulling so-called harmless pranks on random people causing him to become liked and disliked in the District.

Background: Behind Caol's mischievous nature, if you probed deeper you would find a dark past. His parents never had time for his prankster ways and rebellious nature which resulted in constant scolding. Finally, his parents had enough with him. They resented their son, believing that he would be very unsuccessful in life and it showed. He was hated for who he was. The only person who truly loved him was his sister Nerida, who encouraged him to be himself. Three years ago Nerida was drawn for the Hunger Games. She was only fifteen at the time but she came in second, only to the Girl from One who shoved a knife through her heart, remorseless. The one person who cared about Caol had died and he was crushed inside. After his sister's death, his parents started taking drugs. Whenever Caol did something to irk his parents they would abuse him with hits and awful words causing him to rebel and go out of his way to prank other people.

Strengths: Caol is clever from years of playing pranks, knowing how to set up advanced traps and catching on to patterns quickly. He is also creative and can think of many different ways to solve a problem. Also, he is a very good swimmer with the grace of a panther underwater.

Weaknesses: Since the death of his sister Caol is very afraid of getting close to someone which would be his downfall in alliances. He is also very stubborn and not at all scared of standing up for what he believes in. And no matter how hard Caol has tried he cannot use an ax.

Weapon: Caol excels in many weapons but he prefers to go for the most exotic ones, such as ninja stars or katanas for close combat. He can wield almost anything expertly.

Token: A smooth blue stone that Nerida once gave him.

GAMEMAKER REACTIONS

"Poor boy. Having to lose the only person who loved him." Mourns Tris. Having lost many loved ones herself, she knew about the hole in someone's heart after someone precious passes away.

"Mmhm." Annabeth agrees. "But look on the bright side. Not about Nerida, but we have an excuse to put ninja stars in the Games! I'm going to inform Artemis right now." As she stood up, Artemis Fowl seems to appear behind her.

"It's fine. I already know." His voice causes Annabeth to jump five feet into the air.

"Jeez! Don't scare me like that!" She scolds him like a mother talking to a child.

"I didn't mean to. You just happened to be in front of me." He shrugs like it was meant to be. "Also being a genius mastermind, being able to recognize patterns quickly will help Caol hugely. If any of you two haven't realized, just about everything is a pattern. You just have to find it."

"I realized that a long time ago." Annabeth says impatiently. "But we ARE putting those ninja stars in, correct?"

"Yes Annabeth. And Tris, you have been pretty quiet today. Care to elaborate?" Artemis raises his eyebrow a fraction of an inch.

"Nah. Not much. You guys can go all for him, but besides feeling pity for Caol, I don't feel much. He's divergent, sure but hm, not really my taste as much as some of those other people." Tris frowns. "So that's all I have to say."

"Oh. Why is your taste in tributes so weird?" Annabeth pleads jokingly.

"Because I'm not a nerd like the rest of you. I gotta go. Lot's of Gamemaker stuff to do." With that Tris walks quickly to the door, shutting it behind her.
