is the realist.

watching the world around them,
the world that God left,

the cynic cannot afford
to trust in Leibniz.

this world is the best possible world
only for those whom it was assembled for.

but for the rest of us,
those that see the underbelly,

those that see what the others can't,
those that refuse to see,

cynicism is common conception.
cynicism is realism,

as we watch the world around us.
the world that seems to have been born godless.
