Shift POV: Scar and Xisumavoid

"This should be a good spot,' Scar said.

"Well let's get started, I'm gonna light up the place to prevent mobs from spawning."

*creeper hisses*

"WATCH OUT" Scar shouted.

Xisumavoid was blown up by a creeper.

Grian: OMG WHAT HAPPENED.

ImpulseSV: A death?!

Fortunately, X (We'll call him X for short) set his spawn at camp. 

Something doesn't look right.

He's hurt even after respawning.

He's hurt.

Bleeding.

Even after respawning, the injury died down but it still hurt like hell.

"Should've equipped a shield in case of emergency's" groaned X.

Scar quickly gave a potion of healing to X. 

"OH FOR GOODNESS SAKE" it didn't work. The corruption is interfering with the game itself. It's impressive for the Astras to even corrupt the game. Scar needed a way of healing X, fast. 

"Maybe some suspicious stew will work, though the effects are random. But there isn't any other way." thought Scar.  

Come on Scar, you got this. he quickly sprinted to a dark oak forest as there were some mushrooms there. 

*splashes potion* 

"ARRGHH, IT HURTS"  X was screaming in pain from the mysterious potion. Before X fainted, he saw an anonymous person with a small grin, then fainted. Scar came back only to see X suffering from pain while fainted with half a HEART.

" X WHAT HAPPENED," Scar said with a panicking voice while crafting the stew. X couldn't speak, the pain was unbearable. With the potion still taking effect, Scar gave X a milk bucket and gave him the suspicious stew. It was the regeneration effect. With a sigh of relief, he tried to carry X to stand. 

"I'm fine," said X with a disoriented voice. Scar could tell he wasn't okay and made X lay back down on the bed. " I'll take over from here, recover fast" and with that, Scar started building with the limited supply they had. He successfully built a tent but is low on resources and food. 

He went hunting and gathering materials with the other hermit Iskall. He couldn't find Iskall until when he was about to leave the forest when...

Scar: EVERYONE FIND ISKALL.I 'M TAKING CARE OF X

Scar couldn't do anything. Iskall never told Scar where he set spawn.  He quickly asked somebody in chat to go check on iskall. The worst part is, even if he knew where iskall was, he couldn't leave X behind alone, he would be really vulnerable to mobs.

He wasn't found in the forest that he was in. Nor at his destroyed base. They couldn't find him. They regrouped after a while. Everyone was worried and panicked. Looking up, there were only 2 days left. And they needed a way to defeat Astra. 

*Shots fired*

"WOAH WOAH TAKE COVER!!!!" 

"What the- it phases through our shields?!" 

"EVERYBODY SET SPAWN IN CASE THEY KILL YOU, WE'RE GOING TO ATTACK"

It was chaos, missiles firing, guns shot everywhere, blood...While everyone fends off the Astra, Mumbo makes a quick redstone minigun to kill the remaining shooters.

Astra 027 was killed by Grian

Astra 089 was killed by ImpulseSV

Astra 102 was killed by GoodtimeswithScar

Astra 278 was killed by redstone minigun

Astra 420 was killed by redstone minigun

Astra 069 was killed by redstone minigun

Astra 249 was killed by redstone minigun

They saved their land for now. Many got hurt while in the battle. Scar was concerned considering the fact that only X got lucky for the regeneration effect from the stew. 

"Aha! golden apples!" Scar had remembered that golden apples heal people with the regeneration effect. Scar asked Mumbo (Grian was hurt)  if he had any gold while mining. Mumbo had 2 stacks of gold which was enough to heal everybody that was injured. Scar went picking apples from trees while Mumbo sat near the minigun, in case they infiltrate again. A couple of minutes later, Scar came back with 20 apples. They crafted 14 golden apples and gave them to the injured hermits, including X.

At last, everyone recovered. They didn't have much time left before the server becomes fully corrupted. That's when Impulse found a battleship parked nearby the camp. It seemed used. He informed the others of what he found and made a plan with it.

"whispers about plans"

They geared up with iron armor, tools, and a shield that Grian and Mumbo got from mining. They were ready to fight the Astras. But they weren't too confident. 

"Potions should be useful," said Mumbo

"I found a brewing stand in a village," said Impulse holding up a brewing stand.

" We need blaze powder to fuel the brewing stand, but it's risky to go to the nether"

"Since we are a server, Why not cast a voting session" Suggested X.

The majority voted to go to the nether and get some blaze rods. Scar crafted a diamond pickaxe and mined some obsidian to make a nether portal.

"Um, Scar are you sure we need this many obsidian?" asked Grian while Scar was building a 23 x 2 nether portal.

Scar was sure that he needed this many obsidian. It sure looked weird, but it was functional.
