It's hard to explain. We're... It's just complicated. Gems take romance sometimes from a choice to fuse? Or something like that. Garnet is in a relationship and she's one gem.

It's just... I'm human.

And he's... Not all human.

I love him! But it's probably just in some platonic way until we get older.

After all, he's my friend.
