SharkMao. He lost his tail after he had to chew it off to escape a cave in. He never smiled since he knows it will scare other merfolk away. He is known to go off hunting outside the reef, he doesn't want Adoramaid to know that he is a shark. His weapon is a golden trident which the Pure Heart Pearl gifted him.

Badgerish. He was once a part of a pod of fellow Badgerish that were hunted by a sea serpent, as a result he was the sole survivor. Though he did lose his right arm and his left eye. He managed to replaced his arm with a arm he made out of trash in the polluted sea bay. He later found SharkMao in a nearby coral garden after he was rescued from piranha thieves.

Adoramaid. The youngest hero who now protects Pure Heart Reef, she did lose part of her tail fin as she tried to escape a leaked monster. She now wears a wooden fin to allow her to swim properly. She wears a sea Lily on her pearl decorated head band. Her tail covers some of her heart on her chest. She always follows SharkMao examples and lessons.
