Kate's POV:

"Stay out of my way, or I will kill you and your boyfriend" Is what I heard last night after getting an unwanted visit from Yelena, the Black Widow that threw me off a roof and shot Y/N twice

I decide to sleep on what she told me and call Y/N in the morning

In the morning:

I call Y/N and he answers his phone

Y/N: Hey Kate, what's up?

Kate: We need to talk...in person.

Y/N: Was it something I did?

Kate: No, just be here, please.

Some minutes go by and Y/N arrives, dressed in a suit again

He kisses me on the cheek when he gets in

Y/N: What's going on?

Kate: Last night I had a visit from Yelena.

Y/N: Yelena?

Kate: The Black Widow. She got hired to kill Clint ans she says that she's Natasha's sister and Claims that Clint killed her.

Y/N: What else did she say?

Kate: She told me to stay out of her way. We need to find Clint.

Y/N: Didn't Clint gave up on us? 

Kate: Don't do that, just because he gave up on both of us it doesn't mean that we can give up on him. He's in danger and he needs our help.

Y/N sighs

Kate: This is too much for him and you know I'm right...he can't handle this by himself.

I decide to tell Y/N the truth about Clint

Kate: Look, no more secrets between us. Clint's the Ronin.

He looks at me with a surprised expression

Y/N: Of course. I was so focused on the Tracksuits that I completely forgot about The Ronin. It all makes sense now, him wanting to retrieve the suit, the sword, that he was supposed to clean the suit's reputation. He knows the whole story.

Kate: Are you angry?

Y/N: I'm just disappointed in myself for not seeing it sooner. Did you figure it out on your own or he told you?

Kate: On my own.

Y/N: Then I guess you're a better detective than I thought. Where's the dog, anyway?

Kate: He's staying with the LARPers

Y/N: Then start by looking there. 

Kate: Where are you going?

Y/N: I'm going to pick my new suit.

He gives me a goodbye kiss before leaving the apartment

Y/N's POV:

After leaving Kate's apartment, I get in my car, a black Aston Martin Vantage and head off to Wayne Enterprises

I go straight to Lucius and talk to him

Lucius: Here you are, Mr. Wayne.

Y/N: Is it ready?

Lucius: Yes it is. And I took the liberty of getting some new gear for you.

He opens a case with my new armor in it

The chest part has a bat symbol on it and the cowl has pointy ears to remind a bat

Lucius: Hardened Kevlar plates over titanium-dipped tri-weave fibers, for flexibility and protection. The cowl is equipped with tactical lenses that can transmit a live feed to a computer, and it has something I call "detective vision". It has an X-Ray vision, body heat signature and environment analysis. The cape allows you to glide like you're using a hang glider.

Y/N: I don't even know what to say, Lucius.

Lucius: It's almost Christmas, Mr. Wayne, I'm just delivering your presents. And I'm not done.

He opens another case, this one containing equipment, not armor

Lucius: Smoke pellets, they blow up on impact. I figured you'd need these for distraction.

Y/N: Smart. What's this one?

Lucius: Explosive gel, it sticks to any surface and it can be remotely detonated.

Y/N: Thank you, Lucius. Can you help me put these in my car?

Lucius: Sure.

After he helps me pack, I return home

I take the gear to the cave and see Alfred there

Alfred: Shall I put these under the Christmas tree, sir?

Y/N: I'm opening these presents earlier. Take a look.

I show the gear to Alfred

Alfred: Looks like Mr. Fox outdid himself.

Y/N: I think he gets bored at his apartment. Maybe Earle doesn't give him enough work.

A few hours later

I put on the suit and show it to Alfred

Y/N: How do I look?

Alfred: Terrifying.

Y/N: Check the computer, see if you can see what I see.

Alfred: It's transmitting.

I put my hand on my ear

Y/N: Comms check.

Alfred: All good.

Y/N: Ready to go.

I get on my bike and head to the docks

When I arrive, I hide my bike and try not to be spotted by any Tracksuits

I notice something strange

The usual Tracksuits aren't here

Y/N: Alfred, check this out. I don't see the usual guys here. No Maya, no Kazi, no Ivan.

Alfred: Do you believe this is a setup?

Y/N: I believe that they're busy.

After I say that, I see Carmine Falcone get out of a car

Falcone: Hello boys. Where's the other guy?

After that, a black Rolls-Royce pulls up and a man wearing a red jacket and a black skull mask gets out of the car

Alfred: Is that?

Y/N: Roman Sionis aka Black Mask.

Falcone and Sionis shake hands

Black Mask: Make no mistake, Carmine. I only accepted this partnership because my fortune would grow with it. When do I meet the Uncle?

Falcone: You'll meet him, eventually. When the container with the products arrives, I'll give you and your men your share of the deal.

I decide to act stealthly, activating the tactical lenses to see how many goons there are

Y/N: Eight Tracksuits, three armed. Four Black Mask's men, all armed.

I go for the goons that are alone and take them down

After that, I sneak up on another two henchmen and bash their heads on each other

A tracksuit comes over to check on the noise

I usa a couple of bat-shaped shurikens to take the lights out

After that, more men come to the place and I decide to take them all

When I return to the meeting point, I see that Sionis and Falcone escaped

After that, a henchman tries to hit me with a baseball bat

I turn around and block it, before grabbing him by the neck

Goon: What the hell are you?

Y/N: I'm Batman.

I headbutt him and knock him out
