"I'm just saying that you gotta ask Yusei first before we go to this spooky apartment," Lizzy huffed as she ran up the stairs. She had finally caught up to Jaden, who was about to unlock his apartment front door in order to grab his roommate.

"I am going to ask him," Jaden replied, opening the door. "It's not like anything bad is gonna happen when we go on our adventure."

"......Uh-huh." As the two went inside, the found that the inside was empty of people.

"Yusei?" Jaden said loudly, walking around to find him." Where are you, dude?"

"Maybe he's in his room," Lizzy suggested as she shut the front door.

"Yeah but who knows? He could be out and about again. He's been doing that more recently now." The boy then went over to a small hallway, where the two bedrooms were placed, letting Lizzy follow if she wanted to. In fact, she was going to until Jaden screamed and ran back to the living room, hiding behind Lizzy.

"What's the matter?" Lizzy asked with slightly widened eyes, glancing at her shoulder to look at the boy.

"C-Creepy guy with a blowtorch," Jaden uttered quietly.

"What creepy guy with a blowtorch? There's no guy with a blow-" She was interrupted by her buddy pointing in front of him and Lizzy, in which the girl looked straight ahead and there was indeed a guy with a blowtorch. But he also wore a welding hood, which concerned Lizzy a lot. "Oh goodness, he has a blowtorch and a welding hood!" Lizzy exclaimed, starting to back away from the guy.

"What are you two scared of?" the guy asked. He lifted the hood to reveal more of his black hair and blue eyes.

"Dear Ra, are you trying to kill us, Yusei?!" The girl said with a big sigh of relief.

"No," Yusei replied, taking off the helmet completely. "I was just testing out welding in my room and wondered who came into the apartment."

"Then why do you have a blowtorch?" Jaden asked, still staying behind Lizzy.

"It's for welding, Jaden. I thought I told you that I'd try it out already."

"You did? I must've forgot. Anyway, you want to join us for something fun?"

"Like what?"

"Jaden found out of a haunted apartment here in the complex," Lizzy explained as Yusei put the blowtorch on the kitchen island table.

"An actual haunted apartment?" Yusei asked. "Or the ones with those fake pumpkin heads?"

"Well there's only one way to find out!" Jaden grinned with his hands on his hips. "We gotta see it." His roommate thought for a moment and then said,

"I'll come along. I just hope that there's no spiderwebs." All that Lizzy and Jaden did in response to Yusei was look at each other and chuckle nervously.
