Chapter 4: Fangirls and Ms. Hansen
(Present day)
It was an off day for the Warners. They were just sitting in the water tower, talking about their favorite moments. "So Carrie, what is your favorite moment from being in Animaniacs?" Dot asked and Carrie begins to think about her favorite moment. "You want to know what my favorite moment was? Her cheering up that young fan who was feeling down." Yakko raised his hand. Lauren awwed at that moment and Carrie gave an agreeing nod. "Yeah, I agree with that. I think it was either that or meeting my idol, Jessica Rabbit, after the Gumshoe Detective segment me and Yakko shot footage for."
(Flashback)
Carrie and Yakko were walking to a milkshake shop after a long day of filming for the show. "Wow. That sure was a long day for one segment." Carrie wiped some sweat from her forehead, since she had some stunts to do. "You got that right Carrie." Yakko teased and then laughs. In the distance, camera flashes were going off. Carrie looked a little closer to see her idol, Jessica Rabbit getting photos from the press. She began to get all giddy and excited to finally have a chance to meet her. "Eeeee! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! How's my hair? Are my teeth good?" She asked, looking in a mirror.
Yakko eased her excitement as best as he could. "Don't worry, you look great Carrie. Now why don't we go say hello?" He walked the two of them up after the cameras got away and Carrie's nerves built in. "H-h-hi! I'm so sorry if I'm so shaky. I'm just a big fan of 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit'." Jessica chuckled and knelt to her level. "I must say, It's very nice to meet a fan of our work. I must ask, how many times?" Carrie gave a eased smile and twirled some of her hair. "I don't mean to brag about how many times I like to watch the movie.. ahem.. seventy four." She then held out a pen and a poster. "Can you sign this please? I'm Carrie Nelson.. Well.. Two years tomorrow, Warner-Nelson."
Jessica takes the poster and while signing it, she gave a glance. "Really now? Congratulations. I have heard of your story." After signing it, she handed it back over, and Carrie held onto it. "Thank you so much, Say hi to Roger for me!" And then the two walk off as Jessica waved goodbye. "What did she write?" Yakko asked Carrie and she opened it up to read it. "'To a fellow toon gal who's pretty both inside and out, you're not bad just drawn that way, Carrie Warner-Nelson. ~Jessica Rabbit.'" She read and then closed the poster again.
(End)
Wakko sighs. "You still have the poster framed, right?" He asked her and Carrie nodded. "Yep. Kept seal-tight." Carrie chuckled and then looked over to the door, since she heard a knock. "Huh.. Who could that be?" She walked over and then opened the door. There stood a lady with a high ponytail and she looked down at her. "Hi, is Wakko Warner here?" Wakko walked over to the lady. "H-hi. That's me." He waved and then recognized the eyes. "The eyes.. Those emerald green eyes.. You're that kid, aren't you?"
Callie smirked and then chuckled. "You can't ever forget a familiar face, huh? The fangirl that sent the poem about your blue sleeves. I'm Callie Hansen, it's a pleasure to meet you." Wakko's eyes went into hearts and he shakes her hand. "Hellloooooooooooo Callie!" Dot, Lauren, and Cassidy all roll their eyes and spoke in unison. "Boys.. Go fig."
