~Chapter Twenty One : Reuniting with Killua~

Killua walked on his mansion's hallway with a glad mind as he thought of his conversation with his father. It was like the normal father-son conversation, except this is their first time to talking to each other like that and other than that, he, for the first time, got the permission to finally meet his friends.

As he was walking, he stopped as he was blocked by none other than his paranoid mother with his quiet younger brother on her side.

"It's no use, Kil. Those four left." She lied. "Get back to your cell."

Killua narrowed his eyes. "No way, I'm leaving."

"Kil!" His mother yelled, dashing towards him but stopped half-way when she saw his eyes.

Killua was giving her a cold death glare. "Out of my way." He ordered.

Killua walk pass through her and Kalluto and kept walking out, leaving his paranoid mother in a state of shock and for some reason, proudness.

"Oh, Kil..." She muttered. "Your eyes are so cold now..." She said as he watched her son walk away from her, coldly.

You were all following the girl, who finally introduce herself as Canary as she said that she will take the three of you all to the butler's office to use a phone that connects through the mansion.

You were currently being carried behind Kurapika's back because earlier, you tried to stand up, you kept stumbling on your own feet too much so Kurapika insisted to carry you on his back. Of course, you refused his offer thinking it might be a burden but after a long argument, you eventually just sighed and got om Kurapika's back.

You all stopped as Canaria stopped walking and pointed to the building that is pretty far away. "That's the butler's office." Canaria said.

"That building?" Leorio said as he put one of his hand to his hips. "It's still pretty far away..."

"Hey, Canary..." Gon called, making Canary turn around. "Wouldn't you get in trouble if bring us here?"

Canary close her eyes. "They already know what I'm doing." She said. "So I'm prepared to take the consequences."

"Canary." You called as she turned her attention to you. You smiled slightly. "If you ran into trouble, we'll take responsibility."

Canaria looked at you and turned around. "No." She said as she kept walking. "I'm merely guiding Killua-sama's friends."

You all looked at each other and proceeded to keep following her to the butler's office.

Killua arrived at the butler's office before the four of you and was instantly by a butler.

"Killua-sama, we've been expecting you." He said as he opened the door for Killua.

"Gotoh, where's Gon and (Y/N) right now?" Killua asked, excitedly. "You do know, right?"

"Canary is currently taking Gon-sama and (Y/N)-sama here." Gotoh replied. "Along with their two other friends."

Killua smiled widely. "Really!?"

"They will be here for a moment but for now, why don't you wait inside of one room here?" Gotoh suggested.

Killua nodded. "Okay." He said as he entered the butler's office.

Killua turned around to face Gotoh again. "Gotoh." He called.

"Tell me instantly the second Gon and (Y/N) arrived." Killua ordered.

"Yes." Gotoh nodded as he bowed. "I shall inform you immediatly."

Killua went upstairs and waited on one of the rooms of the building.

Finally, after a few moments of walking, you all reached the said building. In the entrance way were a bunch of butlers with Gotoh on the middle. Then, they bowed at the same time.

"Welcome." Gotoh said.

You all entered the butler's office and Gotoh ordered two of the butlers to aid you and Gon's injuries. It's kinda awkward for you as a male butler was the one who's patching up your stomach.

Kurapika watch the guy as he patch your stomach intently, watching if he will make a dirty move but the butler didn't. After patching up your stomach, he proceeded with patching up the bruises on your face.

After that, you smiled at the butler and mumbled a tiny "Thank you". The butler responded with a nod and walked away. You looked at Gon and saw him stucking his tounge out in the image of his own face at the mirror he's holding. Gon's other eye were patched up with a few band-aid in his face.

"Forgive me for my rude reception earlier." Gotoh apologize. "The lady of the house as asked us to treat all of you as an official guest."

You all sat down on a couch with Gotoh across all of you with Canary and a bunch of butlers behind you. You were sitting between Gon and Kurapika.

"This is not the primary residence?" Kurapika asked.

"No, this is just a place for butlers." Canary answered.

"Well, please make yourselves at home." Gotoh smiled.

"We appreciate your hospitality but we've only come here to see Killua." Leorio said. "Can you take us to him?"

Gotoh smiled. "That won't be necessary." He said, making all of you widen your eyes in suprised. "Killua-sama is now on his way here."

You and Gon smiled widely. "Really!?" You both said, as Gon stood up, excited.

"Yes, so please wait a little longer." Gotoh said, smiling.

"This is great, isn't it, Gon?" You said as you smiled at Gon.

Gon smiled at you back. "Yeah!"

"Instead of merely waiting and be dull, how about we all play a game?" Gotoh suggested.

"What kind of game?" You asked, politely.

Then, Gotoh took out a coin and flipped it in the air. He catched it back with one of his hands. "Which hand holds the coin?" Gotoh asked.

You all smiled. "The left hand."

Gotoh smiled and showed that the coin was indeed in his left hand. "Correct." He said. "Now, I'll move even more faster."

He flipped the coin once again in the air and catched it back with one of his hands but this time, he moved even more faster. "Which hand holds the coin?"

You and Gon smiled and pointed to his left hand. "Left again."

Gotoh smiled once again. "Marvelous." He said as one butler applaused. "Then, I'll shall try harder next time."

He flipped the coin in the air and was going to catch it once again but this time, his hands moved in inhuman speed that normal people can barely follow his hands. He then stopped and raised his two fist. "Well? Which one?"

You smiled, inwardly. "Maybe sometimes, I need to thank my eyes." You thought. "Without this kind of eyes, I'll probably have a hard time following Gotoh-san's hands."

Leorio put his finger on his chin and think. "Hmm, I'm not certain but, I guess right." Leorio guessed.

"You see..." Gotoh started. "I've known Killua-sama ever since he was born. I dared not to say it out loud but I cared for him just like he's my own." He said and tightened his two fist. "To be truly honest, I must despise you from trying take him away."

You, Gon, Kurapika and Leorio tensed at the kind of atmosphere he's giving the whole place. Gotoh stared at the four of you. "Well? Which hand?" He asked.

"L-Left..." You and Kurapika stuttered.

Gotoh opened his left hand to reveal the coin was indeed in his left hand but widen your eyes as you saw that the coin was bent backwards due to Gotoh tightening his fist earlier.

"His lady mother could barely speak, you see. She must be heartbroken to see him leave." Gotoh said as he glared at the four of you. "I cannot forgive it."

"By the time Killua-sama arrives, a decision shall be reached." Gotoh said. "I shall test you in my own way. You have no choice."

Then, the other butlers each pulled out a big machete. You looked behind you and saw a butler threathning to slit Canary's throat.

"Canary!" You and Gon yelled.

"This is her punishment for having brought you here, against the orders." Gotoh said. "I shall explain the rules. If one of you answered incorrectly, that person is out of the game."

"Should all of you have been disqualified, I shall tell Killua-sama that you left." Gotoh said. "That you'll never see him again."

"Killua is..." Gon started but got cutted off.

"Silence!" Gotoh yelled. "Your lives are now hanging by a thread. Now, answer my question." He said as he threw the coin in the air and use inhuman speed to keep swapping the coin in both of his hands. He, then, put down his hands with steam coming out of it. "Which hand?"

You all looked at each other. "Don't take too long." Gotoh said. "I'll give you three seconds."

"Hey." Gotoh called as he turned to the butler who have a machete next to Canary's neck. "If three seconds have passed, slit her throat."

The bulter responded with a nod and Gotoh turned to the all of you.

"Wait! I pick left!" Leorio yelled.

"I pick right!" You yelled.

"Me, too!" Gon and Kurapika yelled.

Gotoh opened his palm revealing the coin to be in his right hand. Leorio narrowed his eyes as he realised he guessed it incorrectly. "One disqualified." Gotoh said as he threw the coin into the air kept swapping it with his hands in his inhuman speed.

You watched the coin carefully. "Indeed, Gotoh-san's speed isn't ordinary..." You thought as you slightly smiled. "...But my eyes aren't ordinary too!" You thought but suddenly thought of Gon. "But what about Gon? His other eye is patch up, can he see properly with those?"

Gotoh put down his hands once again with steam coming out of it. "Answer!" He demanded.

Gon and Kurapika nodded at each other. "I choose right." Kurapika said.

"I choose left." Gon said.

"Me, too." You said.

Gotoh opened both of his hands. "It was in my left hand. Only two remains." He said. "Here I go." He said as he flipped the coin in the air.

"Wait!" Gon yelled.

Gotoh catched the coin and looked at Gon. "What is it?" He said. "Don't take too long or I'll kill one of your friends."

"Leorio, can you lend me your knife?" Gon said. Leorio looked at Gon suspiciously.

Gon smiled. "Don't worry, I won't do anything stupid."

Leorio gave Gon his pocket knife. Gon opened it and removed the bandage over his other eye and slit it, causing blood to go out. You widen your eyes in realization. "So he can't see with that bandage over his eyes after all." You thought and smiled.

"So he bled himself to reduce the swelling."

Hundreds of chocolate boxes with robot designs were scattered all over the the table next to a familiar silver-haired boy known as Killua.

Killua was lying on a couch with his legs crossed. He was munching on some chocolates as he was instructed to wait for his friends.

"I wonder if (Y/N) changed her clothes already..." Killua wondered and smirked. "Since she's a girl, there's no way she'll go out without changing her clothes!" He said as he sighed. "Gon spend all his time with (Y/N) these pass few days. Lucky him~, I wonder if (Y/N) will look at me as a guy now?"

Then, he frowned. "Speaking of her and Gon, what's taking them so long!?" He yelled.

"Hey, Gotoh!" He called as he sat up. "Is Gon and (Y/N) here yet!?" He yelled but no one responded to him.

Killua pouted and exited his room. "Anyone here?" He called as he looked at the darkened hallways. "What's going on?" Killua sighed.

You smiled as you put bandage on the slit on Gon's eye that's been caused by he, himself. He smiled at you and muttered a "Thanks" and turned to Gotoh with a serious face. "Alright! Let's do this (Y/N)!" Gon yelled. "Give us your best shot!"

You smiled and nodded. "Yeah!" You said and turned to Gotoh, serious.

"Very well." Gotoh said and flipped the coin in the air and used his speed to keep swapping the coin on each of his hands. Once he's done, he put down his hands with steam coming out of it. "Which one?"

You and Gon pointed to his left hand. "The left hand!" You and Gon exclaimed.

Gotoh opened his left hand. "Not bad." He said. "In that case..." Gotoh said as he stood up with two other walking over to him.

Gotoh flipped the coin in the air and with the help of the two other butlers, they kept swapping the coin in an unimaginable speed. You quickly followed the coin no matter how fast it is then, suddenly, almost went unseen, the coin flew up. Once that was done, they all put their hands down. "Which one holds the coin?"

You and Gon stared intesily at their hands for a good few seconds and looked at each other. You both smiled and nodded. Then, you both raised your hands and used your thumbs to point to the guy behind the two of you. "The guy behind us."

The guy behind you looked away with a stoic face and opened his hands revealing the golden coin. Every butler applaused to your accomplishment. "Brilliant." Gotoh said.

Then, just as they finished, the door to a room opened. "Hey, Gotoh." Said a familiar cool voice that you all knew all too very well. "Is Gon and (Y/N) here yet?"

You all turned around and widely smiled. "Killua!" You and Gon exclaimed, suprising the silver-haired boy. You stood up, ignoring the slight pain in your stomach and walked over to Killua and gave him a light hug. "We've missed you!" You said.

Killua instantly blushed pure red despite how light your hug is. Killua turned away in hope to conceal his red face. He closed his eyes and pat your head. "I-I've missed you too..." He said in a tsundere manner.

Gon sweatdropped as his pouted in annoyance. "She said 'We'..." Gon thought, a little jealous of Killua as you were hugging him. He decided to keep that thought for himself.

You giggled and let go of him. "So you guys are already here." Killua said, calming his blush. "Along with..." Killua trailed off as he turned to Kurapika. "Kurapika?" He said.

Kurapika's eyebrow twitched. "I'm just an after thought?" He asked.

Killua turned to Leorio. "Liorio!" Killua said as if he got his name right.

Leorio grew a vein. "Leorio!" He corrected.

Killua ignored Leorio and turned back to you and Gon. "It's been a while. What's wrong with your faces? You both look a total wreck!" Killua laughed.

You and Gon pouted. "The same goes for you as well!" You and Gon said, as you three eventually just laughed.

"Gotoh. I told you to inform me as soon as Gon and (Y/N) gets here. What happened?" Killua pouted as he asked.

Gotoh bowed. "I'm very sorry, I had them to participate in a little game." He said.

Killua raised his eyebrows. "Game?" He repeated and looked over to you and Gon, who just smiled at him.

"It was nothing more than a poor joke." Gotoh explained as he smiled. "I apologize for any aggravation. Did you enjoy yourselves?" Gotoh said as he bowed.

Leorio scratched the back of his head. "That was some good acting..." He said.

Killua looked at the two of you, serious. "What did they do? Did they tried something?" Killua asked, with a tint of concern in his voice.

You and Gon shook your head no. "Nope." Gon said.

"Yeah, they were just entertaining us." You said as both of you smiled.

"Is that so?" Killua said as he smiled. "Anyway, let's go somewhere, right now! Anywhere but here!" Killua suggested as his face turned annoyance. "If we stay here a little longer, my mother will give us another of her earful blabbings!"

"Yeah!" You and Gon agreed as the two of you grab your bags.

"Listen up, Gotoh." Killua ordered. "I don't care what Mother say, don't follow me." He ordered.

Gotoh bowed. "Yes. I understand." He said.

Killua smiled. "Let's go, (Y/N), Gon!" He called and walked off.

You and Gon were about to follow him but you stopped when Gon suddenly turned back to face Gotoh.

"Hey, Gotoh-san. If Killua leaves, you'll be lonely, right?" Gon asked.

"No." Gotoh answered. "We butlers do not feel any emotional attachments to our masters."

You narrowed your eyes at him. "But he said he despise us for trying take him away! He even said he care for Killua like his own!" You thought. "He's lying."

Gon narrowed his eyes at Gotoh. "You're lying." Gon said as he stuck his tounge out him, childishly with the "Bleh" sound.

You and him then turned around to catch up with Killua and the others but someone stopped the two of you.

"Gon-kun, (Y/N)-san." Gotoh called.

You both turned around to face him. He then flipped another coin in the air and obviously catched it with his left hand. "Which one?" He asked.

"In the left hand right?" You and Gon said.

Gotoh opened his palm to reveal that the coin was in his right hand instead of his left hand.

You and Gon widen your eyes in shock. "No way!" You and Gon exclaimed.

"Yes, it was a deception." Gotoh said. "In this world, there are many things that are wrong. Please do keep that in my mind." He said as he bowed. "Please be careful. I am entrusting Killua-sama to the both of you."

You and Gon turned serious and nodded at him. Both of you then ran out to catch up with Killua. You both passed Canary who was bowing.

"Bye, Canary!" You and Gon exclaimed as you both reached Killua.

"Took you long enough, Gon, (Y/N)!"

"Sorry..."

"Don't tell me the two of you did something behind my back?"

"What? What do you mean?"

"Ah! Nevermind! Let's go! Before more trouble comes!"

Hearing their conversation, Canary quickly understood their situation and smiled.

I know, I know this is too short! But I need to take advantage of the strong Wi-Fi now and update many chapter as I can! I'm also very sorry if you noticed that this story is not having too much romance, right now (I'm terribly sorry, Ms. earth-to-self.) because I was thinking of a "Unique" way to express the boy's love for you (Though I don't think my ideas are unique at all) so please bear and be patient with me here.

Also, this is one of the shortest chapter I've wrote so far other than chapter one and two.
