~Chapter Five : Phase Two Part One~

You and Killua were waiting for Gon and the others while sitting on a branch of tree. You were worried for the three of them.

"What if they don't make it on time? What if...Huh?" You looked to the right to see Hisoka carrying a beaten up Leorio. You gasp and quickly turned to Killua who was leaning on the tree, eyes close.

"Killua! Wake up!" You yelled shaking his shoulder. Killua opened his eyes and groaned. "Hnn...What?" He said.

"Look there!" You said as you pointed to where Hisoka and Leorio is.

"Ah, It's Leorio. He looks beaten up." Killua said, bored.

"Why are you so calm? Come on, let's go to him!" You said, worriedly and jumped down from the branch.

Killua sighed in dissapointment and jumped down from the branch as well. "Tsk. And here I thought I could spend more time with (Y/N)..." He thought, dissapointed.

You and Killua ran towards where Hisoka and Leorio is. "Umm..." You started as Hisoka placed Leorio. Hisoka turned to you and smiled. Killua became alerted.

"What is it, little girl?" Hisoka asked as he crouched down to your height.

"U-Umm...That guy you carried here, is one of my friends...May I ask what happened to him?" You said.

Hisoka stared at you for a second, which made fidget. Then, he smiled again. "Your friend, Gon, might tell you about it." He said.

You turned to him, suprised. "Gon!? Is he okay?! Will he make it!?" You said.

Hisoka nodded. "I think so."

You smiled, brightly at him and sighed in relief. "Whew, that really relieved me. Thank you, Hisoka-san." You said.

Hisoka smiled at you. "You are very much welcome. Little girl. That's right, I haven't catch your name yet, what is it?" He asked.

"It's (Y/N)! Nice to meet you!" You said.

"Nice to meet you too, (Y/N)~ Well, take care of your friend here. I'm going now, bye~" Hisoka said as he walked away from you and Killua while waving.

You waved back as you watched he's figure. Killua walked to you. "You should watch your back when talking to him, you know?" Killua whispered.

You turned to him. "Eh? Okay, I admit that at first I thought he was a bad guy but now, I felt that he might be a good guy!" You said, brightly.

Killua turned away from you. "Tsk" he said. "You can get in trouble because of trusting others so easily you know..." He thought.

"(Y/N)! Killua!"

You and Killua turned around to see a familiar black haired boy running towards both of you while a blonde was calmly walking behind him.

You smiled. "Gon!" You said as you ran towards him and tackled him with a hug, which he hugged back

When you hugged Gon, Killua widened his eyes and so as the blonde infront of you and Gon as both of them were struck with jealousy.

You let go of Gon after a few seconds of hugging and sat up."Gon! I was worried! Don't go anywhere so easily without me or Killua or anyone else!" You scold him.

He apologetically laughed at you. "Sorry, sorry..." He said.

"Hey...How long are you gonna stay in that position?" Killua irritatedly said.

You both then realised your position. You were sitting on Gon's stomach with your hands leaning on his chest. You blushed and immediatly get off Gon but luck wasn't in your side today. You're foot slipped and your head landed on Gon's chest.

You can feel a scary aura coming from Killua and Kurapika so you shakily try to got off Gon again. But you heard someone walking over to you, grabbed your waist and pulled you away from Gon. You turned around to face a forcibly-smiling Kurapika.

"I guess you were having trouble standing so I might as well help you with it." Kurapika said.

You smiled slightly. "Oh. Thanks!" You said as Kurapika let go of you. You turned to Gon who was sitting up. "I'm sooo sorry, Gon! I'm really clumsy!" You apologized

Gon grinned at you. "It's okay!" He said. "I enjoyed it anyway..." He thought. Then, he turned red. "W-What!? "Enjoyed"!? What is wrong with me..."

"Hmm? Gon? Are you okay? You're all red." You said. Gon nervously grinned at you. "Hehehe...Nothing. I just...Nothing..." He said.

"Oh...Okay?" You said, little suspicious. "Oh, yeah! What happened to Leorio?" You asked.

Gon tensed. "Well..." He started as he explained everything that happened. You listened carefully while Kurapika was leaning on the tree.

Once he stopped explaining, you sighed. "I can't believe Hisoka-san would do something like that...He was so nice with me earlier..." You thought.

Leorio groaned and opened his eyes. "Hey, Leorio woke up!" You said, happily as the others walked towards him. "How do you feel right now?" You asked.

"My left cheek stings." He said, rubbing his cheeks. "Why am I all beaten up?" He said. "My memory is kinda hazy..."

You, Gon and Kurapika widened your eyes. Kurapika leaned in on yours and Gon's ear. "Maybe it's better if we don't tell him." Kurapika whispered. You and Gon nodded.

"Oi, the second phase is starting." Killua said.

You turned around as well as Kurapika and Gon. You listened as Satotz explained where all of you are and saying he's goodbye. "Bye-Bye..." You thought as the big gate opened revealing a large man and a teal haired woman who was barely wearing anything, sitting with her legs crossed.

"Will the people who passed the first phase come in?" She said and all the people went in. "I'm Menchi, the second phase examineer." Menchi said.

"And I'm Buhara, another examineer." The large man, Buhara, said.

"I would like to congratulate you on passing the first phase. Now, the second phase's challenge will be..." Menchi said. "Cooking!" She said.

The examineers were suprised and started whispering. "Why do we need to cook!?" One said.

"'Why', you said?" Menchi said. "Because, we're gourmet hunters!" She said, proudly putting her hands on her hips.

Then, everyone but you and your friends started laughing. "Gourmet Hunters? What's that!? What a let down!" People said.

You noticed Menchi started to get annoyed and you can see veins in her forehead. "Uh...That's not good..." You thought nervously.

"So, gourmet hunters, what are we going to make?" A guy, Todo, said.

Menchi's eye twitched. "Buhara." She said, annoyed. Buhara stood up making a loud thomp. "The require ingrediant would be pork!" Buhara said.

You widen your eyes. "P-Pork!?" You thought. "That means...Were gonna kill a pig!? No, no,no!" You thought.

"Feel free to use any kind of meat in the forest!" He said.

"Ready? Get set, Go!" He said.

Soon, people started running away, finding a pig to cook. While you stay on your spot, thinking deeply. Menchi noticed you. "How about you little girl? Are you gonna go?" Menchi asked.

You looked up. "H-Huh? Oh, Y-yeah..." You said and sadly ran to the forest and find your friends while sighing.

Once you found your friends, they were still looking for a pig. You walked to them and Gon noticed you. "Oh, (Y/N) what's wrong?" He asked worriedly.

"N-Nothing! Ehehe..." You said as you tried to look happy as possible. Gon studied you for a second and widened his eyes in realization. "I get it...She told me that she grew up with animals...That must be it...She doesn't want to kill a pig..." Gon thought as he looked at you.

Then, Gon found a path that looked like a slide and jumped down. You followed him and jumped too. Killua saw the both of you and smiled, jumping down as well.

Just then, Gon stopped causing you to bumped onto him. And Killua to bumped into you and Leorio to bumped into Killua and Kurapika to bumped into Leorio.

"What was that, Gon!?" Killua yelled, only to be ignored.

"Found them." Gon said. "The pigs."

Indeed, you five found the pigs who are now chewing on bones. You and the others blinked.

"They're chewing on bones..." Leorio said, pointing the obvious.

"Are they...Carnivores?" Kurapika said.

As soon as he said this, the pigs look at all of you and growled, steam coming out of their nose. You all noticed this and prepared to run. Gon, knowing you won't run away with this, swiftly grabbed you by shoulder and swept you off to your feet. Gon was now carrying you bridal style.

You blinked and looked at Gon. He was wearing a blank face. You then looked behind him and saw a bunch of angry pigs chasing you. You narrowed your eyebrows as you hear the pigs thoughts. It was such unmentionable thoughts of them. You felt that half of them would die by the hands of the examiners.

Soon, the four of you passed the other examiners and some of them got tackled by the pigs while some tried to defend themselves but the pig's large nose was blocking it.

Gon put you down. "I'll put you here, okay?" He said, while you nodded.

Then, Gon jumped and about to hit the pig with his fishing rod but the pig's large nose blocked it. Then, it charged toward Gon but Gon dodged making the pig bumped into the tree that is behind Gon. The pig seems to be unaffected by it but when it turned around to face Gon, some apples fell in his forehead causing the pig to growl. Gon realised the pigs' weak spots and swing his fishing rod once again and hit the pig's forehead perfectly. The pig growled and hit the ground, dead.

Your eyes widened at horror. You never seen an animal that's been killed and worst, it happened right in front of your eyes! You covered your mouth with your hands and tears were forming in the corners of your eyes but you quickly wiped it. "No! Don't cry, (Y/N)! This is what you need to become a hunter! You need to learn and accept the fact that living creatures will someday die in this world!" You scold yourself.

Once you calm yourself down, you heard Killua saying that there weakness is there forehead. You looked around to find a lot of the pigs hitting the ground, dead. It was horrible sight for you to see but you kept yourself strong.

Gon walked over to you. "Hey, (Y/N), are you okay?" He said, worriedly. "Do I need to kill a pig for you?"

"No need. I can ki- I mean I can "put away" a pig myself. Thanks though." You said, smiling slightly and not wanting to say the word "Kill".

"Okay, then. Good luck." Gon said, smiling at you and walking back to the phase two exam site, holding the dead pig in his hands.

You waved at him and watched his disappearing figure. Once you can no longer see him you turned around with a brave look on your face.

"Now, let's "put away" one of these piggies..."

I'm am soooo sorry if this really boring! I tried my best! Oh, and I might not be able to update for awhile because of, you know, school, I'm sorry, my exam is coming up and I'm studying for it. But don't worry I'll start updating in like Wednesday! (03/11/15) or maybe earlier than that! Anyway, thanks so much for the 38 votes! I'm so happy!

And I almost forgot, Alisaki pointed out on the previous chapter that one of the phrase they said sounds wrong. I'm sooo sorry about that! I was laughing when I realised I just did that! XD (Candy is an oblivious 'B'). Seriously though, I'm sorry for that.
