For the past few days, Peridot has been staying in the gems' rooms. They all took turns keeping her supervised, and Purple Tourmaline could tell that Peridot enjoyed Amethyst the most. There were no missions those few days, so Peridot took some time to stay in Amethyst's room longer.

But today, they had a huge mission that could've taken them at least 3 days. So, Peridot had to stay at the house with Purple Tourmaline.

Purple Tourmaline and Peridot were having fun, at least Purple Tourmaline thought so. Peridot was laughing... More like quietly snorting. They decided to sit down on the couch and just do nothing. Yep. Juuuust nothing.

Peridot sighed, "When did I become so... Lazy?"

Purple Tourmaline chuckled, "You've been hangin' around Amethyst too much. I think you two have too much fun."

Peridot blushed, "H-Hey! I do not spend a lot of time with her! Y-You..."

"Heheh, just kidding. Learn to take a joke, alright?"

"Pfft..."

They sat in silence, like they usually do, for 5 minutes. Purple Tourmaline yawned, "Boy, I'm exhausted."

"Why? You haven't done anything yet."

"So? Heh."

Purple Tourmaline yawned and closed her eyes.

Peridot sighed. She looked over to Purple Tourmaline, who was already fast asleep. She looked back at the floor and sighed again, "When did we become so..."

The soft snores from Purple Tourmaline filled the room, slightly distracting Peridot from her thoughts.

Dumb? Stupid? Dull? Weird? Clumsy? Rebellious?

"...heh. Nevermind. What am I so worried about?
