Turns out that the hiatus wasn't as long as I thought it would be!!! I now have a decent amount of spare time, and am catching up on late school work :3 I will hopefully have another chapter of "Lapis Lazuli's Story" up by tomorrow, or if this chapter comes out late, then later on the bus home!!! Everybody sat down at the coffee table. They were not aware of what to say, so just sat in silence. Pearl glared at Purple Tourmaline, y'know, that death glare. It was freaking her out. She wanted to get up from the table and run, but she knew that if she did that, they would just put her back in the house.

She had nowhere to go and nothing to do. She couldn't run, she couldn't hide. All she could do was watch as the gems most likely plot her death.

Amethyst walked over and sat next to Tourmaline. She started to look at her, suspiciously, and started poking her in random places.

She stopped to look at her again, "How did you even get here?"

Pearl stood up and walked over to her as well, "Yeah. I'm with Amethyst."

Amethyst laughed, "Heheh, that's new..."

Pearl nudged Garnet on the shoulder, "Garnet, are you seriously going to make us trust her? She's obviously going to attack us at any moment!"

Garnet hummed, and held her head for a minute. She looked back at Pearl, "I see one possible outcome where she attacks us and kills Steven."

Pearl beamed at herself being right, but Steven shuddered and looked up at Tourmaline, who had fallen asleep on the couch. Well, actually, he couldn't tell, since her long hair was covering most her face.

"Buuut the possibility of this outcome is 0.05%"

Pearl growled and Amethyst laughed, "Heh, tough luck, P."

Purple Tourmaline giggled a bit, so she wasn't asleep.

Pearl groaned and put a hand on Purple Tourmaline's shoulder, "I suppose, if we have to, we... We can trust you. And you can stay here. On ONE condition!"

Tourmaline nodded, waiting for this 'condition.'

"You will not so much as TOUCH Steven, or I will personally throw my spear right through you." Pearl said, with a smile.(DOES THIS LOOK LIKE THE FACE OF MERCY????)

This creeped Purple Tourmaline out too much, and she couldn't find a way to say no. Why would she say no? Everyone here is basically terrifying. Except for the amethyst, she was pretty cool. She also liked how Pearl was, as well, even though she is really creepy. Maybe Tourmaline could be friends with Pearl, if she stops being so creepy.

Which will probably never happen.

But hey, who is she to judge?
