The Ashes For Change

Uttara lost her father same day as her husband .Vatsala performed Sati with Abhimanyu.Uttara stood alone amidst the ashes of her once vibrant life, clutching her swollen belly that carried the child of her beloved Abhimanyu. The weight of grief and loss threatened to crush her spirit as she watched the flames consume the bodies of her father, her mother, and her dear co-wife Vatsala.

Her heart shattered into a million pieces, each shard cutting deeper than the last as she tried to comprehend the cruel hand fate had dealt her. How could she bear the burden of losing not just one, but three beloved souls in a single day?

As tears streamed down her face, Uttara found herself seeking solace in the arms of Subhadra and Draupadi, her mother-in-laws who shared in her pain and sorrow. They held her close, offering words of comfort and understanding, their own hearts heavy with the weight of loss.

"Dear Uttara, my child," Subhadra whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "I cannot fathom the depth of your grief, but know that we are here for you. We will stand by your side through this darkness, holding you up when you feel like you cannot go on."

Draupadi's eyes glistened with unshed tears as she spoke softly, her voice filled with compassion. "Uttara, my dear daughter, know that you are not alone in this pain. We grieve with you, for the loss of your loved ones and the burden you now carry on your own. Lean on us, let us share your burden and help you find the strength to carry on in your unborn child, Abhimanyu's legacy."

Uttara felt a glimmer of hope flicker within her, a tiny spark of light amidst the darkness that threatened to consume her. She clung to Subhadra and Draupadi, drawing strength from their presence and their words of solace.

But it was Arjuna, her first teacher and the greatest warrior of their time, who truly understood the depth of her despair. He knelt before her, his eyes filled with tears of his own, his heart heavy with the weight of their shared loss.

"Uttara, my dear daughter," Arjuna's voice was soft, but filled with a steely resolve. "I cannot take away your pain, but I swear to you that I will do everything in my power to protect you and your child. You are not alone in this, for I will stand by your side and ensure that no harm befalls on you and our family".

Krishna, who had been listening quietly, stepped forward with a gentle smile on his face. "Uttara, dear one, I offer you a place of peace and rest away from the chaos of Kurukshetra. There is a serene forest nearby where you can find solace and healing. Come with me, and I will guide you to a place where you can find respite from your sorrow."

Uttara looked up at Krishna, his presence radiating a sense of calm and reassurance. She nodded gratefully, feeling a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, she could find some peace amidst the turmoil that surrounded her.

Together, Krishna, Arjuna, Subhadra, and Draupadi escorted Uttara to the peaceful forest, where the sounds of battle faded into the distance, replaced by the gentle rustling of leaves and the soothing melody of birdsong. Uttara found a quiet spot under a towering tree, and as she lay down to rest, she felt a sense of peace wash over her.

In that moment, surrounded by the love and support of her family and guided by the wisdom of Krishna, Uttara allowed herself to surrender to sleep, knowing that she was safe and protected by Krishna,Pandavas and their consorts.
