CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE: THE FINAL BATTLE

(A/N: Like I said in the last chapter, Five is not going to blink away and go to the subway, find the diner with many versions of him and then have a talk with one of them. Even so I like that scene, I just couldn't fit it in this story. Also Five leaving his family to die is so out of character for him, he would never do that. So therefore it will not happen in this story. Hope you guys don't mind)

Five and Lila managed to blink Maddie and the others into the huge shopping center where Viktor was with Ben and Jennifer.

"What the...." Luther said as they all fell backwards when they landed in the building.

"Are you okay?" Five rushed over to his wife helping her up "I'm fine" she said "I'm so sorry for everything" he said "Let's talk after, for right now, we need to stop this" Maddie said and he nodded.

Then suddenly a portal opened and they turned to see Freddy stepping out. His wings was gone and he didn't had light glowing around him.

"Thank God, you're here" he said as they could hear the sound of gunshot and people screaming right outside.

"Freddy" Maddie rushed over to Freddy before hugging him "I missed you so much" she said "I missed you too. Sorry I haven't being here, I---" "No" Maddie pulled away "I understand" she said.

Then Klaus, Luther and Diego hugged Freddy "We missed you bro" they said "I missed you guys too" Freddy smiled before they pulled away and Freddy looked over at Lila.

"Hey Lil" he said and Lila smiled before hugging her cousin "I'm glad you are finally here. I missed you" she said "Missed you too" he said.

The two pulled away and Freddy looked at Five who looked at him.

Five smiled before the two hugged "I missed you" Five whispered "Missed you too" Freddy said.

The two pulled away "I'm glad you could come" Five said "Of course, I promised I would be here if you ever needed it" Freddy smiled "But why didn't you guys call me earlier 'cause it seems like you had this problem for some time" Freddy said "We thought we could handle it" Five said.

"Well, now that I'm here, let's do this together, like old times" Freddy said and the others nodded.

"What is that?" Klaus pointed and they all turned around to see Ben but he didn't look like himself.

"God, I think it's Ben!" Maddie said with widened eyes "It's Durango" Freddy said "Do know about it?" Five asked "Only a little" Freddy said.

"VIKTOR!" Maddie shouted as she saw Viktor laying on the floor with a cut by his eyebrow where some blood was bleeding down. "Stay where you are!" Viktor got up "Viktor, you're hurt. Come here" Luther said.

"No, I'm fine!" Viktor stumble a bit as he got to his feet "Just don't touch Ben!" he said before he turned to look at Ben again.

Then a harsh grating wheezing sound was heard and they saw Jennifer but she looked just like Ben, kinda like a swamp creature.

"Is that Jennifer?" Allison asked "Get away from him!" Jennifer shouted but with another kind of voice.

"Ben, please. Please let me help you" Viktor step closer to Ben "Leave now" Ben said with a distorted voice "I...I can't control it" he said with his normal voice.

"I don't wanna hurt you" he said as Viktor approached him.

Viktor then grab Ben's right arm which cause energy crackling, humming to be heard as Viktor tried to take the marigold from Ben.

"What's he doing?" Luther asked "He's pulling out the Durango" Maddie said "Viktor, let him go!" Freddy shouted "I can save him!" Viktor shouted.

The sound of whooshing and pulsing was heard as Viktor tried to pull the Durango out of Ben.

Then suddenly Ben pushed Viktor out of the way as a bullet came flying and it hit Ben just as Jennifer touch Ben's shoulder from behind causing energy crackles to be heard.

Ben let out a groan as the bullet hit him causing him to fell backwards into Jennifer's arms.

The sound of noisome chirring was heard as Jennifer's face merge with Ben's causing guttural growling to be heard as the two merge into one giant creature.

"Oh god" Klaus said as they watch the creature transform "Oh my God!" Klaus said "That's is not good" Freddy said "It's too late" Maddie said.

"Ben" Luther said as the creature got bigger "Ah shit! We gotta get that thing away from Viktor" Maddie said.

"What if we hurt it?" Lila asked "Doesn't it matter" Diego pulled out a knife "They might still be alive" Klaus said.

"Let me handle it" Maddie took a step forward but Five grab her wrist "No" she looked at him "I can't let you do this" he said "You're not in control of that" Maddie hissed at Five "You would die, think about---" "I'm thinking about the kids, about everyone but I'm the only one that can stop it" Maddie said.

"Listen. I can't let what happened at the theater and the hotel happen again" Five said.

Then Diego charge towards the creature which swing out some tentacles towards Diego but he dodged them but he ran up the escalators.

"We should get to cover" Five said before Maddie rushed to the side taken cover while Five and Lila blink away, appearing up on the second floor by the escalators while wings came out of Freddy's back again and he flew up on the second floor before landing next to Lila and Five and his wings disappeared again.

"Oh shit!" Allison started running "Allison, wait!" Luther shouted as she ran over to cover.

"Oh God" Luther said.

The creature looked at Viktor and it could see the marigold glowing inside him "Let's go! Over here! Over here!" Luther shouted and the creature looked at him to also see the marigold glowing inside him and Klaus.

"Come on! Whoo, yeah!" Luther shouted and the creature started to approached him "That's right! Come on! Come get these legs and eggs, baby!" Luther shouted at it.

"What are you doing big guy? What are you doing?" Klaus asked him "I'm trying to start a fight" Luther replied before he looked back at the creature "Hey, come on, assface. Come on! Hey!" he shouted at it as both him and Klaus started waving their hands getting the creature's attention who lifted up a tentacle as you could hear it bellows shrilly.

Klaus grab Luther's arm as the creature swung the tentacle towards them but Klaus then used his powers and floating him and Luther up on the second floor, but Klaus was hit with the tentacle causing him to fell on a glass table while Luther landed on his feet.

"Klaus!" Luther rushed over to him "Hey!" he said "I can fly now" Klaus said as Luther turned him around "Oh, it hurts" he said.

"Hey, hey, Viktor" Maddie and Allison rushed over to Viktor who was laying on the floor "How are you doing?" Allison asked Viktor "I'm okay" he replied "Okay, I gotcha" Maddie said as her and Allison drag Viktor behind a counter "I'm okay" he said.

Maddie looked at the creature before she started throwing red energy balls at it.

Freddy, Lila and Five was looking down at the creature from the second floor "Holy fuck!" Lila said as Five noticed that the creature walked towards Maddie.

"Hell no, you son of a bitch" he quickly pulled out his gun "You should know that I'm a better shot when I'm pissed off" he hissed as he started shooting at the creature while Freddy did the same causing the creature to let out a roar.

But the bullets didn't do much damaged "Okay, that didn't work" Five said and the creature turned its attention to the three.

"Eye lasers?" Lila asked "Yeah, yeah" Five looked at her before he looked down at the creature and he spotted a small gas tank standing next to it.

"Aim for the tanks" Freddy said and Lila activated her green lasers and hit the tank causing it to explored right next to the creature making it let out a low rolling bellow noise.

But instead it started growing "Is it supposed to get bigger?" Lila asked.

The creature then swung its tentacles towards the three and Five and Lila blink away while Freddy was hit making him get thrown backwards and hit a wall with a grunt.

Lila appeared next to Maddie "I'm here, I'm here!" she said as she help Allison and Maddie with Viktor.

Five appeared next to Diego and he stumble into him "Get away from me, kid" Diego pushed Five away from him "We almost got killed over there!" Five told him "Stay away from my wife!" Diego pointed his finger at Five.

"Trust me I will, there is nothing going on between her and I, she kissed me, I pulled away, so be mad at her and not me, get that into your head, Diego" Five said.

"I wouldn't blame Maddie if she leave you, I know she will find a better guy than you" Diego said.

That made Five charge at Diego and tackled him to the floor causing them to break a glass counter.

Freddy landed next to Maddie, Allison and Lila who was with Viktor.

"I'm here, let me. I can heal him" Freddy put his hand on Viktor's chest and slowly started to heal him.

Maddie peek around the counter to see the creature have gotten bigger.

"I've really had enough of this shit" Allison said "It's really big and scary" Maddie said.

"This is your fault" Diego kicked Five away from him causing him to stumble towards the escalators.

Diego got up before he threw a punch at Five, hitting him in the face.

Diego let his anger out on Five, even so it was not his fault. He still took his anger out on his brother instead of his wife.

Five actually tried not to fight his brother, he didn't want to fight him, but since Diego was angry, he kept throwing kicks and punch against him and Five fought back but only to defend himself, beside he was also angry at Diego for blaming him for everything that have gone wrong.

"Who's the one who save your pathetic ass in the beginning then the second time. I never complained, I never asked for a thank you, but you still blame me, I guess while I'm at it. Let's just add more blood on my hands" Five swung his knee at Diego but he block it with his hands.

Five then swung a fist at Diego, hitting him in the face, knocking his face to the side.

"Stop it Diego, okay. We don't have time for this" Five said, trying to reason with his brother.

Diego swung a punch at Five but he dodged down before he move behind Diego and punched him in the back before kicking him making Diego rolled down the escalators.

"Okay" Allison got out of cover "Allison!" Lila said as Allison looked at the creature "What are you doing?" Maddie asked.

"My turn" Allison said before her eyes glow gray white.

"Allison!" Ben said with a distorted voice and she saw his face in the creature which cause her eyes to change back "What are you waiting for?" Lila asked "It's Ben" Allison said "Not anymore" Lila said.

"Allison, watch out!" Luther shouted but Allison was hit with the tentacle "NO!" Luther shouted as Allison was throw backwards and the tentacles hit some part of the wall causing some bricks to collapsed above her but she reach to roll out of the way.

Five and Diego was still fighting "Stop blaming me for your marriage getting destroyed, it's not my fault. Lila kissed me" Five threw a fist at Diego's face.

"Stop blaming me for everything that has gone wrong" Five hissed.

He then turned to se the creature have gotten bigger "Oh my God!" he said before he looked over at his wife to see her getting throw into a wall.

"MADDIE!" Five shouted.

"You shouldn't even have let her lips touch yours" Diego threw a fist at Five's face as he was about to blink over and save his wife.

"Almost done" Freddy said as he kept healing Viktor.

"All right. That's it" Luther jumped down from the second floor and landed behind the creature.

"Pick on someone your own size, you giant piece of shit" Luther said before he walked over to the creature and threw a punch at it.

But it was like his hand was suck into the creature "Uh, a little help?" he glanced at Lila, Viktor, Freddy and Maddie who have gotten up.

"My hands is stuck in his ass" Luther said "Let's do this?" Madie said "Okay" Viktor nodded, and while Lila mimic Viktor's powers, the four all power up and shot their powers towards the creature causing it to let out a lurid shriek.

"It's not working!" Viktor shouted while Diego and Five was still fighting "It's like it's getting bigger" Maddie said.

Diego punch Five in the face causing him to lower down and he then hit Five in the back with his fists before he kicked him causing him to roll down the escalators.

Luther managed to get his arm free as Maddie and the three others powered down.

The creature howled at them as it grow bigger causing everyone to look at it with widened eyes.

Diego pulled Five up by his collar before they both looked at the creature that swung its tentacles towards Maddie and the others who reach to dodged it.

"Will this thing ever stop growing?" Lila asked.

Diego turned to Five and the two was about to swung a fist at each other but then Lila and Maddie got in between them pulling their husbands away from each other.

"Stop fighting each other when we're about to be killed!" Lila shouted as her and Maddie pulled them away from each other. "Stop acting like little kids, fucking act like adults!" Maddie shouted at them.

"You guys are idiots, fighting each other over something so stupid instead of focus on the real fight!" both Lila and Maddie gave their husband a slap at the back of their heads.

"Stop it Diego, it's my fault, not Five's, I kissed him and he pulled way, he rejected it, he rejected me, so take your anger out on me, not Five 'cause he is the victime here, just like you" Lila told her husband.

"We will discuss this later, right now we need to figure out a way to kill it" Maddie said as they all glanced at the creature that was huge.

"There is only one way to kill it" Maddie said and Five glanced at his wife "No, I'm not letting you do this alone" he said.

"She wouldn't be alone" a voice said and they turned to see Freddy approached them.

"We will do it together" Freddy said before he looked at Maddie.

"And you don't have to die doing this, our powers are stronger, if you have me, we are stronger against it, so you don't have to die" he said "I can hurt you" Maddie said "You wouldn't hurt me" Freddy shook his head lightly.

"Trust in yourself. We can do this together" Freddy said as the two looked at each other.

"We will do this you and me as one" Freddy said and Maddie nodded before she looked at Five who was worried.

She walked over to him "I'm--" she cut him off by putting her finger in front of his lips.

"I know, but this is the only way" she said "Be careful, I want to be husband not widower, and the kids need to have their mom. I can't lose you, they kids can't lose you" he said "You wouldn't" Maddie shook her head lightly.

The two looked at each other "I have something to tell you" Maddie took a deep breath.

"I'm--" "I know" he cut her off and she looked at him "I found the test" he said "And you're happy?" she asked "Of course I am" he grab her hands "And that's why you have to live, not just for me, but for the kids, even if it is not for me, then for the kids" he put his hand on her stomach "Survive, okay?" he said and she nodded.

They then pressed their foreheads against each other.

No matter what they say
My love for you is greater than their powers
And their armies from above

"I don't care if you want to take a break or divorce me after this. I will accept, understand and respect that. Just survive. That is all I'm asking" he said.

The two pulled away before looking at each other "I have to made a shield around you and the others, just in case" she said and he nodded.

"Kick its ass, Love" Five said and Maddie lay a kiss on his cheek.

She then pulled away before red dragon wings appeared on her back while angel wings appeared on Freddy's back.

A red shield appeared around Five and the others as Freddy also made a shield appeared around Maddie's shield, just in case.

Freddy and Maddie then looked at each other "Together" they said before they flew up in the air while the creature roar at them.

"Okay, we need to attack it from different ankels, you attack from behind I take front" Freddy said and Maddie nodded before she flew around behind the creature.

Five and the others was standing inside the shield as they were watching Maddie and Freddy fighting against the creature.

"It can't take us down at the same time" Freddy flew towards the creature with his sword before swinging it at the creature, hitting it in the shoulder causing it to groan before it swung it tentacle towards him but he reach to dodged causing him to flew backwards.

Maddie was throwing red energy balls towards the creature which cause it to scream before it swung it tentacles towards Maddie.

"MADDIE WATCH OUT!" Freddy reach to flew over and grab Maddie as he push them both to the side.

(A/N: Sorry if ididn't describe the fight, couldn't really describe it)

The fight against the creature went on for hours.

"That creature just wouldn't die" Maddie said as the creature grew even bigger while both her and Freddy was bleeding as they had cuts on their face and they were both running out of energy.

"We have to shoot it with everything we have in us" Freddy said "Okay" Maddie nodded.

"NOW!" Freddy shouted before both Maddie and him stretched their arms as they were shooting their powers towards the creature which cause it to scream.

Five and the others widened their eyes as they noticed that this affected the creature even more and it actually hurt it.

"They are doing it" Five said.

"Keep going Maddie, don't stop" Freddy said as they were both straining in pain while they were shooting their powers towards the creature.

"Maddie" Ben's voice said and Maddie saw Ben's face inside the creature which caused her to power down.

The creature took the chance before swinging it tentacle towards Maddie, hitting her.

"NO!" Five cried out as he watch his wife falling down from the air.

"Maddie!" Freddy dodged a tentacle before flying down after her.

The two reach out their hands out for each other and Freddy reach to catch her before he turned around making him hit the floor while she landed on him.

As the two landed on the floor the shield around Five and the others disappeared.

"Freddy" Maddie rushed over to Freddy who got up with a grunt "I'm sorry" she said "It's not your fault" he said before he spit some blood out of his mouth.

"Are you two alright?" Five and the others rushed over to Maddie and Freddy who was laying on the floor.

"We're fine" the others help Maddie and Freddy up on their feet. Both of them wounded badly and also exhausted.

"You guys can't keep going this" Viktor said "What do we do?" Maddie asked "We have to take it down otherwise we will all die" Freddy said "How are we doing take it down, if the guardian and the red dragon can't take it down together, then what?" Lila asked "It's like everytime we hit it with our powers, it just gets bigger" Viktor said before they looked at the creature and they saw it stumble and looked injured.

"It's injured, it's almost done" Maddie said "I think there is one other way" Freddy said "How?" Diego asked and Freddy glanced at the others.

"It might be risky, but it's the only way" he said "What is it?" Diego asked.

"Everytime you guys hit it with your powers, it gets bigger right?" Freddy asked and the others nodded.

"We need your guys help, but it might be dangerous" Freddy said "We're ready" Five said "Okay, Maddie and I need to consumed your guys' powers while her and I will combine our powers and then we use all the strength we have left to shoot our powers at the creature. There is no way it can handle all of our powers at the same time" Freddy said "Like we all power up together, like combinding your powers?" Five asked and Freddy nodded "We will all combine our powers" he said.

"No" they all look at Maddie "We can't combine our powers Fred, I might hurt you, that is my destiny, us fighting together until the very end" Maddie said.

"I'm the Guardian. My destiny is to protect and yours is to destroy, but we can change that. If we combined our powers we can do this" Freddy said "I can't. I'm scared that I might hurt you or lose control" Maddie said "You wouldn't, we will do it. All of us together, taken this creature down can save the universe and us together can restore the timeline so there is only one right one, let's hope we can also do that" Freddy said.

"We believe in you Maddie, time to proof that you can change your destiny" Klaus said "We're with you Maddie" Diego said "We will do this together, as a family" Viktor said and Maddie smiled.

"Together" Freddy reach out his hand for Maddie to take it which she did. She then looked at her left to see Five and she reach out her hand for him to take it and he smiled as he took it.

"Power up guys" Freddy said and the family all grab hands as everyone's chest was glowing golden except for Maddie and Freddy whose chest was glowing red and yellow.

"Guys, no matter how much this hurt, you can't stop, I can't promise that you wouldn't have your powers after" Freddy said "Well, as long as we save each other and the world, I don't care" Five said and everyone grab each other's hands tighter.

"Let's see how tough that son of a bitch is" Five said and the creature roar as it step closer to them.

"NOW!" Freddy shouted and as Five and the others could feel their powers getting consumed, Maddie's and Freddy's wings appeared before folding out and a dragon head appeared around Maddie while golden yellow light appeared around Freddy.

"DO IT!" Freddy shouted and they all grunt as red and golden yellow light was shot out of Maddie and Freddy as the dragon head around Maddie opened its mouth before shooting out red energy light towards the creature.

"It can't handle all of our powers all at once" Five grunted.

As the creature was hit by the red, gloden and orange light from the family's powers, it screamed before stumble back and it started became smaller smaller.

"DON'T STOP. KEEP GOING!" Freddy shouted as they all started straining in pain while they were shooting their powers towards the creature.

They were defeating the Cleanse together as a family.

The light and the red energy around Freddy an Maddie got bigger and bigger before sending out a huge wave as the creature kinda exploded, sending out a huge wave.

"Let me take over" Maddie heard a voice inside her head.

"You are too weak, let me handle it. Let go and let me in"

That is the last things Maddie remember before everything went black as her eyes glow more red.
