Hollow!Stain is the child of Hollow!Ink and Dead!Nightmare, created during a fight between the both of them, when Nightmare decides to take Ink when Dream failed. He is the Alphatale version of Stain

Backstory:

In the Doodle Sphere, there is a big fight going on with the Corrupted Protector of the AUs. Ink is facing off against Dead!Nightmare, who decides to take it to his own hands to try and force Ink to be with Vape. Vape is getting tired of having to try and force Ink and Error, only to fail when they kept fighting back. Because of this, wanting to spare Vape the immense frustration of not being able to take Ink and Error, he decides to take things to his own hands, and force Ink to come to Vape. However, Ink resists, as he clashed and fights back against Dead!Nightmare, who used his tentacles to clash against the Paintbrush that Ink has, as well as the ink that he has, in order to try and force Ink down to submission. But Ink will not give up easily, as he fights back against Nightmare.

But as the fight continued on and on, as Nightmare and Ink kept on fighting against each other, splatters of Nightmare's slime and Ink's, well, ink, began to splatter all over the floating islands that reside within the Doodle Sphere. And some of slime and ink splashed into each other onto the ground, and during all of this...something unique began to happen. As more and more and more slime and ink splatter, something very unique happened. The ink and slime...they began to gravitate and go to the spot wit the largest puddle filled with slime and ink merged together, and the puddle, began to bubble like a cauldron.

Then, more and more and more of them began to go to where the puddle is located at, and enter it, and then...something unexpected happened, a hand bursted out from the puddle, and than...another hand, as something began to emerge out. Than, with a single push up, a skull emerged, and than...the figure is revealed to be a small skeleton, at the height of 4'9, looking like Ink, but with a white scarf, a white hoodie, an ink stain on the top of his skull resembling a crescent moon, an ink stain on the lower right of the hoodie, and sneakers. He also has black sleeves that looks like there are stars, and they seem to be moving when the child loves. On the ground of the place where the child is born in, is a large stain. But than, before the child knew it, he is then sunk into the Stain, and did not scream, due to not being aware of the concept of fear.

When he landed onto the ground, he than looked around, and saw that he is in a place that is white and has souls hanging on by blue threads. However, this caught the attention of the one that resides in this place. The person...is none other than Error...and he instantly realized where this child came from. Worrying for the child's safety, he decides to take that kid in, and brings him to Outertale to at least give the child sentience. He sees the child create stains on the ground of the floating rocks that cannot be scrubbed or washed off and...thinking for the name, he decides to call him Stain.

And for Stain, unlike the other children that Error had raised, is neutral, and is not loyal to anyone. But regardless, he loves and cares deeply for his adoptive father for helping him raise his life, and now...he will take over. For he now travels and goes on his own to discover his own place within the Multiverse that he lives in, and what his role is with the existence he had been given, as well as questioning to himself in whether he is good or evil.

Appearance:

Hollow!Stain: Hollow!Stain shares the appearance of the original Stain. Meaning that Stain in his uncorrupted form looks a lot like Ink. He wears a hoodie with an ink stain on the lower right of his torso and has sneakers. Stain's pants are exactly the same pants Ink wears but is slightly longer. He also has an additional long sleeves with a design that looks like a galaxy that ends in fingerless gloves. The clothes that bare the most resemblance to Ink is his long scarf. Like Ink, Stain carries his trusty pen with him and even has a pouch to carry his art supplies like Ink does. Unlike Ink, Stain has a moon-like birthmark ink stain on his head, which is the only indication that he is a child of Nightmare. However, there are differences. His clothes are all white, except for the sleeves, and his scarf is black at the tips, but when reaching the neck, it turns to pure white. Also, unlike the original Stain, his left eye light is of a purple iris with a white 4-pointed star shaped pupil. In his corrupted form, not much had changed, other than the fact that his appearance is more melted and slimy, and his 2 scarves become tentacles, with the tentacles having black rings. The iris also now turned black, but the 4 pointed star-shaped pupil is of the same shape as it is in his normal form.

Personality:

Like the original Stain, he is a very neutral character with no alignment, due to being made from the goo that makes Nightmare's body, and the paint Ink use. Like Ink, Stain is afraid of dark and confined spaces also known as claustrophobia. Negativity makes Stain's strength grow since Stain's soul is part negative apple. Stain isolated himself in a random portal since he questions whether or not he should be good or bad. However, due to Error having raised him and having encouraged him in that, despite being born from 2 bad and corrupted people, he can be his own person, Stain has began to try and do what he can to help Error, but will prefer to be left on his own devices. And thanks to Error, he is able to make more friends than the original Stain. Unlike the original Stain, he does not have an interest in developing any sort of romance

Powers:

Creativity: Due to being a child of Ink, Stain is able to think as creativity as he possibly can, and with his pen, he is able to make as much as he can. He can even use his own powers to warp and corrupt the environment into whatever is it that he desires.

Poison Stains: Whenever his creations are gone, it leaves a stain on the surface or the ground. In these case, large stains. If a living being touched those stains, they will continue to take damage and feel weakened, as their strength is continued to be sapped from them.

Tentacle stains: If there are small stains, than he can make tentacles come out of them and attack. These tentacles are used to stab, pierce, and constrict an opponent. He can also use this tentacles to act as extra limbs in order to grab onto an object that he wants to grab onto.

Portal stains: Stain is able to travel through the stains of paint, in order to appear in another location, such as another Alternate Universe. Whenever he does, the stains will appear in the universe that he is traveling to temporarily, and will only disappear when he travels back through them again.

Negativity Absorption: Inherited from Nightmare, Stain has the ability to absorb negativity. But unlike the original, who melts when there is too much negativity, Stain can grow more and more stronger, he can sprout more tentacles in his corrupted form, and his own physicality increases.

Dream Entree: Stain is able enter the dreams of other people. And when he does, he takes on the form of a sphere made of darkness, with the ink surrounding the sphere very fast.

Empathy: Stain is able to sense emotions on a limitless scale. No matter how many universes, he can sense them.

Corrupted Form: When Stain becomes angry, he turns into his corrupted form. He does not change Stain's appearance much, other than he looks more melted and slimy, and the fact that he has tentacles on his back. In this form, he is able to use his tentacles as weapons, and his becomes more angrier.

Corrupted Tentacles: Stain had 2 tentacles on his back. These tentacles are incredibly sharp at the tips and are very good for piecing at an opponent's body, and for defense.

Taint Gun: Stain is able to fire a ray of ink and negativity at a target. The target who gets hit are forced into a state filled with negativity for a temporary amount of time, or being forced unconscious and into a dream that Stain can manipulate.

Stain Blaster: Stain can create a blaster made out of black ink in order to fire both negativity goo and ink combined at a target.

Unstable Body: Stain's body is not that physical, and physical attacks such as punching and kicking will be ineffective, due to Stain being similar to liquid, and the strikes will simply be passed through him. If a weapon such as a sword is used, than the weapon will rust and break. The only way to actually hurt him would be to use magic, most preferably one that is able to purify, such as the magic that Dead!Dream is able to use.

Ungodly Strength: Stain has inherited the strength that he gained from Ink, and is able to cause a lot of trouble to even the strongest of the Alphatale crew. His strength can be temporarily enhanced through the use of his ability to absorb negative emotions.

Flight: Stain is able to fly, although he prefers to do it on his corrupted form, due to being really hard to hit and damage while in this form, and the fact that he is almost untouchable.

Consumption: Stain is able to consume entities and universes to permanently increase his physicality and the damage of his magic. Combining his Consumption ability with his ability to absorb negative emotions allow Stain to become one of the most difficult enemies a person can be against.

Body Manipulation: Stain had the ability to manipulate his body and do just about anything with it, more easily in his corrupted form, since in his corrupted form, he is able to change and shake his appearance into any way that he likes more easily.

Relationships:

Hollow!Ink and Dead!Nightmare: Stain has never met his parents in person before. However, when Stain was old enough, Error showed him of what they are like and what they used to be before becoming what they currently are. Stain now does all that he can to avoid them.

Righteous!Error: Error is the adoptive father of Stain. He takes care of him and has been the one to have helped him practice his powers through showing him videos of his parents in glitched screens. While Stain doesn't do what Error does and doesn't do what he wants Stain to do, he still loves his adoptive father, regardless, as he is the one that had taken care of him.

Broken!Gradient and Bond!Paperjam: The 2 eldest sons of Error, Stain gets along with his 2 eldest half-brothers, and often hangs out with them.

Dead!Palette Roller and Dead!Radier: Stain gets along with Radier, his half-brother from Nightmare, and Palette Roller, his half-cousin and half-brother together. Stain will often create along with Palette and will collect negativity together with Radier.

Tint: the eldest of Stain's half-brothers, Tint and Stain get along with each other. Due to Stain being related to Ink, Tint is able to feel emotions around Stain, and is often very friendly with his younger brother.

Error404: Stain has been watched by Error404, who thinks that Stain will be useful in his plan to respect Alphatale, but until then, allows him to stay a kid.

Notes:

Stain and Palette Roller are the closest relations to each other than Stain is to his other half-brothers.

Stain, like Dead!Nightmare, has a limitless range on how far he can feel negativity.

It is unknown how powerful Stain is when he was first born, although it is assumed that it is much more greater than Dead!Nightmare.
