Chapter 6
And so Jisung was sitting in the car for the second time that day with someone who was actually foreign to him.
Several questions burned on his tongue, but he didn't dare to ask a single one of them.
"And what are you working on?" he asked instead.
"Didn't Chan tell you that?" Changbin asked and looked at Jisung in amazement.
"Uhm no.. we talked more about other things," Jisung said and tilted his head.
"Hmm well, we produce music together. Not really that successful so far, but we are also still at the beginning," said Changbin, shrugging his shoulders.
"Oh how exciting. Much better than being a bartender," Jisung murmured and sighed.
They talked for a while before Changbin finally stopped in front of the noble club where Jisung worked.
"You work here?" Changbin looked at the younger one in disbelief.
"Hmm yeah, why?"
"I was here sometimes with Chan and never noticed you. Our friend works here," said Changbin.
"Your friend?" Jisung asked in amazement and thought hard about who that could be. Many people worked here. Not only at the bar, but also as waiters and in the kitchen and many others. Apart from their manager.
"Hyunjin. The one in whose room you live now."
"Seriously? You know Hyunjin?"
Surprised, the two stared at each other for a moment.
"Yes, as I said, he was my roommate and Chan and Hyunjin have known each other for ages."
Jisung was speechless for a moment, but he and Hyunjin had mostly talked about his boyfriend and not about where he lived and what his friends were called.
"Greet him from me," said Changbin and laughed at Jisung's facial expression.
"I will. Have fun at work. And thank you for driving here," Jisung said with a smile.
"Gladly," said Changbin, waved to Jisung and drove away.
~~~
"Hwang Hyunjin!"
Hyunjin drove around and stared at Jisung in shock. He tried secretly to hide his phone behind his back, but Jisung didn't pay any attention to it.
"What? I didn't do anything and besides, you're to late," he said and a pout appeared on his lips.
"I mean it's great that we always talk about Felix all the time, but why did you never told me about Chan and Changbin?" Jisung asked reproachfully.
Which led to the fact that Jisung first had to tell how he had met the two and also that tears ran down his cheeks again.
Scared by everything Jisung had just told him, Hyunjin went to him and pulled him into his arms.
"Why didn't you get in touch with me? You could have slept in Felix apartment!" Hyunjin said sadly and gently caressed Jisung's back.
Seconds later he only realized that Jisung had just told him that Chan had kissed him.
"CHAN KISSED YOU?!" he almost screamed.
Jisung blushed insanely and nodded.
"Yes, I think he wanted to convince Haku that he no longer has power over me..."
"Honestly, I've only seen the guy twice, but he's just a disgust! I already told you back then. How he had treated you and how he dealt with others... I'm glad that nothing had happened to you and that you got away from him..." Hyunjin said and tried to suppress his negative feelings.
Jisung nodded unhappy and was just about to answer when their manager came in.
"Do you two have nothing to do?!"
"Um, of course... sorry," the two murmured and left the common room as quickly as they could.
"I haven't even told you that I think you look really good today," Hyunjin whispered to Jisung with a grin before the younger one disappeared behind the bar and Hyunjin made his turn to collect glasses.
Actually, they stood behind the bar together, but especially when their waiters were busy and there was little going on at the bar, the two helped out.
Grinning, Jisung made his turn to clean up the bar and somehow had the feeling that the evening would be good.
With which he was not entirely wrong. On the one hand, it turned out that he had a shift with his two favorite colleagues (apart from Hyunjin), Jeongin and Minho, and on the other hand, the mood of the guests today was good and relaxed.
Some nights were incredibly strenuous. If they were screamed at by the customers or their manager was in a bad mood, but today everything somehow fit together.
Grinning, Hyunjin leaned to him and poked him.
"Look at that, the guy is flirting quite obviously with Jeongin," he said quietly, pointing inconspicuously at the younger of the two waiters.
Jisung looked just in time to see how the guy handed Jeongin his number and the waiter immediately blushed and grinned shyly.
"Understandable he's such a sweetie," Jisung said with a grin.
The shift went well and although Jisung had often cursed at his job, he was somehow happy to be back in everyday work.
The weeks after his mother's death until her funeral, his boss had released him, but somehow this had only taken away more stability from him.
Now Hyunjin and Minho stood next to him and after they had looked around inconspicuously to see if their boss was nearby, they drank a shot together before they grinned at each other and continued working.
"Will Felix come over later?"
"Hmm yeah, he's coming to pick me up after work," Hyunjin said, smiling dreamily.
"Well, then at least I don't have to pay attention to how much you drink today," Jisung said laughing and boxed against Hyunjins arm.
"Aaaah," as dramatic as he was, Hyunjin sobbed and held his arm while he pretended to wipe away his tears.
"Stop that you Dramalama."
The older grinned at him in a challenging way, but then turned to the customer in front of him.
The woman was lightly dressed and had such a large neckline that her breasts were presented far too much in Hyunjin's opinion. But she smiled lasciviously at him and tried to get his attention very clearly.
"Well, my handsome, would you like to make me some sex on the beach? Two of that if possible."
Inside, he rolled his eyes, but his smile didn't slip a bit while he nodded and then set out to prepare the cocktails.
After he had cashed in, she handed him a napkin, on which a phone number was clearly written.
"You can call me when you get off work, sweetie," she said, winking at him and finally disappeared.
Sighing, Hyunjin threw the napkin in the trash after he was sure that the customer wouldn't see it.
"I don't know why you react like this, she looked quite friendly," Jisung said with an ironic undertone and grinned at him maliciously.
In the beginning, they had made fun of which of them would be flirted at the most, but in the meantime it just annoyed them.
Most of their team were gay, which they knew about each other, but would never tell their boss. And yet they were all so incredibly often hit on by women that they could now only roll their eyes.
"God, I'll just tell the next one that I'm more into dicks... maybe it scares away at least a few," Hyunjin said and sighed theatrically again.
"Only a few more hours and you can have fun with Felix again," Jisung said with a grin, while Hyunjin blushed insanely.
"You should work and not gossip," Minho mocked, which led to Hyunjin and Jisung rolling their eyes almost at the same time.
"You'd better clear your tables," Hyunjin mocked back, but when Minho took two steps towards him, Hyunjin retreated.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" he shouted laughing and fled from Minho, who followed him with a nasty sparkle in his eyes.
"The two won't change anymore, will they?" Jeongin said, sighing and leaning on the counter.
Grinning, Jisung shook his head and bent over to the younger one.
"And will you call him? The guy who gave you his number?"
Jeongin chewed on his lower lip for a while before he finally shrugged his shoulders.
"I don't know. He was really cute."
With a grin, the two talked for a while before they turned back to their work. The evening had passed faster than they had thought and it was already middle of the night. Or maybe even earlier in the morning and their shift would soon be finally over.
