Wrath

Warning: Jimin goes hard. He goes hard this chapter. He gets violent and tortures people. This is a mature story, but I figured I'd give a small warning anyway. Enjoy!

~The Next Day || 12:03~

Seulgi and Hoseok stand side-by-side, staring at Alex Blaine. "I'm sorry, but we won't know until they get back how they did. All comms with Earth are blocked unless there's an emergency. If they make a comm to us, it'll be tracked and they'll be found within minutes at most," he explains.

Hoseok sighs, and Seulgi can't help but share the sentiment. They just want to know what's going on with their crewmates. Looks like they won't know anything about Jimin, Y/N, and Jungkook's mission until they come back from it. Until then, all they can do is wait and dread the answer. "Thank you anyway. I hope they're back by the end of the week," Seulgi mutters.

"You and me both, Captain," Alex replies. Seulgi almost blushes at the use of the word. That's right, she's Captain now. And next to her is her acting Executive. "Captain Kang and Executive Jung. How does it feel?"

"Pretty good, to be honest, but I'd prefer it if Jimin and Jungkook were here. As much as I love my crew, they're a pain in the ass to babysit," Seulgi says.

Alex chuckles. "I'm sure. Taking care of that many people is never easy, but hey, at least know they appreciate it."

Hoseok looks at Seulgi and shrugs. "Do we really think they appreciate it?" Hoseok asks.

"I'm sure deep down they do." The two bring their eyes back to Alex. "Is there anything else we can do from down here?"

He shakes his head. "Nothing until Mars attacks. I'd suggest having the Moonchild on the ready though. Is your pilot doing maintenance on it now?"

"No actually, our engineer is. Kim Seokjin."

"Ah yes, Jin," he replies with a hum. "I hear he's a... character."

Hoseok snorts. "Oh you have no idea."

"Baekhyun isn't helping him though?" Alex asks.

"Normally he would, but we may or may not have scored him a date," Seulgi says.

Alex grins. "Why am I not surprised?" That's right, just this morning Seulgi took his phone and texted that Aurora girl Baekhyun's been sulking over ever since he met her. Turns out Aurora was going to message him. but thought he'd never see it. The two of them were both missing each other, so they met up at the park. She hopes it's going well for him, he deserves it. He deserves to have a fresh start on Earth, that's for damn sure. He may have solved his past problems, but now he needs a future.

"Oh and also, thank you for sending Jace to check on us last night. He was good company, and I appreciate you thinking of us and our mental state," Seulgi says, slightly bowing.

Alex furrows his brows. "I do care about your mental state, but I must admit I didn't send him. He said that I did?" She blinks, her and Hoseok sharing a look.

"Yeah. He said you wanted to check in after the departure of Jimin, Jungkook, and Y/N," Seul explains.

Alex scratches the space above his ear. "Huh. Weird. He did stop by and ask about you, but I never gave him any orders. I'll call him and ask why he did that."

Seulgi shakes him off. "That's unnecessary, sir. I'll ask him myself. Thank you though."

He hums, glancing between Hoseok and Seulgi. "If that's all, you're free to leave. I'll be in Binghamton for a bit longer, I'd like to see Commander Park and his company come back safely before I go anywhere else. Hopefully they'll bring back good news so I don't ever have to worry about bothering you again."

Hoseok softly chuckles. "You're no bother sir."

Alex shakes his head with a small smile. "Liar."

Seulgi snickers. "Alright, he's a bit of a liar, but we'll do anything to help our planet. Really, we mean it." When Hoseok hums in agreement, Alex gives them a grateful look.

"You're really doing a great service for us. Thank you." The two bow.

"Anytime, sir," Seulgi replies, her smile widening.

Alex leans back in his chair. "Alright, dismissed. Take a break, you've earned it. Actually, you've earned retirement at this point."

Seulgi snorts. "You can say that again." Without another word, Seulgi practically drags Hoseok out of Alex's office. Her boyfriend is confused to say the least, but she doesn't say anything until they're not only out of the office, but out of the building as a whole. As soon as the fresh air hits them, Seulgi blinks and thinks of where to go. "This way," she murmurs, bringing him down the sidewalk.

He's confused but obliges, trudging after her. She really doesn't want to discuss this when there's people crowding the streets. So, she keeps going. She walks as far as she can. There's a few people who acknowledge them. Some bow, some wave. Seulgi tries her best to return their kind gestures, but truthfully, she's a little preoccupied.

Eventually they make it into an alleyway, the chatter of people fading away as she pulls him in deeper. "Alright, can we talk about what the hell just happened?" Seulgi asks.

"Which part, hon?" Hoseok asks back, sadly smiling.

"The part where Alex didn't ask Jace to come last night. How did he know our address? How did he know Jimin, Y/N, and Jungkook left?"

"Should we ask him?"

"I don't know if we should. What if him saving us wasn't a coincidence?"

Hoseok looks around to make sure no one's listening, then, he leans closer. "Do you think he's a spy?"

"Is there any other option?" Seulgi asks, not able to hide the panic in her tone.

"Hey, shh. It's okay, honey." He brings her into a hug, resting his chin on the top of her head. She accepts the embrace, sniffling and hugging him back.

"Hobi, if anything bad happens to the crew because of him, it's my fault."

"Don't say that," he tries, but she cuts him off.

"I brought him in, I was kind to him, I showed him our vulnerable sides... my vulnerable side." She peeks up at him, tears in her eyes. "What if someone gets hurt or worse? What if he tells Mars something valuable?"

"Have we told him anything of value?" he asks, trying to calm her down.

"Well... no, no I guess not, b-but-"

"It's not your fault, okay?" Seulgi tries her hardest to believe him, repeating his words over and over in her mind.

"How do you know?" she asks.

He kisses the top of her head. "Because you're a strong, determined leader. You're trying your best to help everyone you can."

"But it might lead to our downfall."

"You know what? How about this, let's not jump to any conclusions until we talk to him. Let's not accuse a possibly innocent man," Hoseok says, keeping his voice soft and delicate.

Seulgi sniffles. "No, that wouldn't be a good idea. You're right, we should just talk to him."

He pulls back, kissing her nose. "Whatever you do, I do. We do it together. Don't ever feel like you're alone, or that you're carrying this alone, okay?"

She gives him the best smile she can muster, and within a heartbeat, their lips are pressed on each other's. They form a sweet kiss, Seulgi's tears fading away with the world around her. All that matters is Jung Hoseok. Her lover, her sunshine. When he pulls away, she gives him a soft look. "I love you, and thank you, for everything," she murmurs. Hoseok holds her waist, returning her smile.

"I love you too, and you're welcome."

~12:15~

Baekhyun shyly looks at the ground, not expecting this awkwardness. So he'll be the first to admit that getting back with a hookup isn't exactly something he's done before. He's not sure how to handle it, if there's even a way to handle it. A pretty girl is strolling by his side, smiling and acting all cute. How is he supposed to react to that? Kiss the shit out of her? Hug the shit out of her? Ignore the shit out of her? Wait no, that last one is a horrible idea.

He mentally scolds himself. God damn him for not having more relationship experience. Why did he wait so long? He's not getting any younger. Did he think that by being a famous pilot he'd magically score a good girl? No, he has to work for it. A good girl is next to him, now all he has to do is talk to her.

After a few seconds, he finally gains the courage to peek at her. Her eyes are focusing on the river not too far away from them. Her face is lit up by the sun, her pale skin illuminating under its light. Gosh, she's gorgeous. Can she get any prettier? Highly doubtful, she's already near perfection. Plump lips, pale skin, sharp jawline, smooth hair. Everything is just right with her. And to make it better, her personality is amazing too.

"The ocean always terrified me," she murmurs, motioning to the water.

"Oh yeah?" he asks, unsure of how else to reply. Curse his awkwardness.

"Yeah. One time I was with my family at the beach." She turns to him, softly smiling. "You know, family vacation. The normal shit. We'd always go to the beach and it never bothered me before, but this one wave came and bam, I got wiped out."

His eyes widen. "Like... completely?"

"Oh yeah. Couldn't see, hear, or smell. All I could taste was the salt. In that moment, I started doing more research on water and the ocean. And what I found just continued to terrify me. I started hating water, beaches, waves, and especially the deep ocean. There's so much unknown, and the thought that even the strongest swimmers can be killed by rough waves is... wow, I don't even know how to describe it."

He leans against the metal railing, keeping his eyes on her. "I didn't take you as the type scared of much."

She lets out a small chuckle. "Oh that's far from the truth. I have like two hundred pages of things that I'm scared of. One of which is not having a seat on the bus. That shit's crazy. Have you ever tried finding a seat while other people stare at you? Craaazy," she says with a small whistle. Before he can reply, she turns to him. "Alright, pilot. Now I'm curious. Fears?"

He takes a moment, genuinely thinking about it. "You want to know something funny?" She nods. "As a teen, I was terrified of heights."

"The pilot scared of heights. Sounds like the script to one of those old comedy movies."

"Maybe I was the star of one, you'll never know."

"Byun Baekhyun acting? I'd be interested."

"Oh gosh, are you into roleplay?" he asks.

She laughs, shaking him off. "Not that I know of, but if I am, I'll let you know. You have character, I'll give you that," she says.

"Me?" he asks in disbelief.

She hums. "You're funny. Charming, if you will."

"I've been fumbling over my words and trying my best not to be awkward."

She mimics his pose, leaning against the railing. "Is that something you're scared of?" At his confusion, she snickers. "Talking. People." She motions to her. "Messing up?"

He lets out a small breath. "Maybe..."

She gives him a reassuring smile. "I understand. Believe it or not, I like the awkward ones a little more than the confident ones."

"Just a little?"

"Just a little," she says, nodding.

They stare for a few moments, Baekhyun trying not to mentally cry or die from his own torment. His brain is yelling at him to say or do something. Literally anything would be better than just standing here and staring. Literally anything at this point. This is a woman in front of him, maybe he should try something. Maybe he'll actually get a relationship if he stops panicking for once and makes a move.

"You're cool," he blurts, and she raises a brow.

"I'm... cool?" Fucking fuck what the actual fuck, Byun? You had one job. Don't say anything lame. Don't. Say. Anything. Lame. And what the fuck did you just do? Said something lame. Nice one. Platinum Pilot, fought aliens, the Belt, Mars, and handled Jin's cooking, but he can't handle talking to a girl. Honestly Baekhyun, you probably aren't ready for a relationship. Nooo, you're only twenty-nine. Not a big deal, totally not ready.

"You're cool too," she replies, smiling.

He blinks. "Wait, did you just say that or am I dreaming?" She pinches him, making him jump. "Ow!"

"Well, you're not dreaming. Congrats, you got a hot redhead in front of you. You're welcome."

Baekhyun softly chuckles. "You really just called me cool."

"You called me cool first," she says. He can't tell if this is the best flirting ever or the most awkward flirting ever. For them it's the best, to anyone else it's probably insanely awkward.

"I'm pretty awkward," he says.

"I can tell, but it's okay, we'll work on it."

He leans back. "Wait, we? We will? We as in we? Like, we? We we? Just to clarify you mean we-"

"You and me," she interrupts, giving him a teasing smile. "Stop doubting yourself, you're doing good. I mean that."

"Oh yeah, I'm doing so great. My best pick up line is 'you're cool'. Doing great." She places a hand on his elbow, making his eyes snap up to meet hers.

"You don't have to apologize for being you. I chose to meet up with you for a reason. I like you. At the bar you were just as awkward, weren't you?" she says.

"I don't remember much about that night other than the insane drinking."

She chuckles. "Well I can guarantee you were pretty awkward then too. But think about it this way: I'm kind of awkward too. At least until you get to know me."

She steps away, leaving him there, leaning against the railing. He turns his head as she trots back, turning to face him. He raises a brow, extremely confused. For a few moments, they stare, then, she lets out a small laugh. Aurora extends her hand to him, and he gazes at it. "Well, do you want to get to know each other?" she asks, giving him a comforting smile. At her expression, he gains the confidence he needs to move forward.

"I do."

~12:47~

Jungkook watches as Jimin walks up to him, the outline of his suit barely visible in the dim lighting of the palace. "Alright, did you complete the map?" Jimin asks.

"Yeah, only one problem..."

"Oh no."

"I have everyone marked. Only three of them are here. Ansel, Xavier, and Emeraude. Clementine is no where to be seen."

"Probably in the barracks. Dammit," Jimin mutters.

"Wait, isn't this perfect?" Jungkook asks.

Even though he can't see it, he can feel Jimin raise a brow. "What do you mean?"

"Well, think about it, there's three of us and three of them. If we set up, we all fire on one at the same time, meet up somewhere, exit, and get back to the ship."

"Not a bad plan. Honey, you heard that?" Jimin asks.

"Loud and clear, send me the map." She's still in the vents, sending the data to Jungkook so he can make sense of it and add it to their map.

"Sending it to both of you... now." Jungkook does, Jimin's comm chiming as soon as he gets it.

"Nicely done, Executive."

"I have my perks."

"Definitely," Jimin smoothly replies. There's a pause. "You can't see it but I'm winking. That was supposed to be seductive. Please say something."

"You're hot. Jimin," Jungkook replies.

"Thank you."

"Am I hearing a threesome getting set up?" Y/N asks in a teasing manner.

"Haha," Jimin blankly replies.

"Oh you'd so be into it," Jungkook taunts.

"Jungkook?"

"Yes sir?"

Jimin hesitates. "I was gonna tell you to shut up, then you called me sir. Suddenly it's getting hot in here."

"Ugh, boys. Can we please focus? I can't stand listening to you two being gay for each other."

"He's hot, I'm hot. Sorry sweetheart, can't help it," Jungkook cheekily replies.

"I wear our friendship bracelet every day, Jeon. Don't make me change that."

"Heard loud and clear, Mrs. Park," Jungkook says.

Jungkook can hear Jimin smile as he chuckles. "Use the vents, find your target, kill them, get out. We'll meet at the back exit. Y/N, stay safe," Jimin says.

Jungkook pouts. "What about me?"

"You're not my fiancée, sorry," he replies.

"Damn," Jungkook mutters, looking around the small space they're in. No one's around. Surprisingly, the palace is pretty empty. It looks like not even secretaries are here. They must be limiting staff as a way to cut off potential spies. Not a bad plan, but now it works in their favor. They can sneak in and out and no one will notice.

"Let's go," Jimin says, and Jungkook nods. "I'll go for Ansel. Y/N get Emeraude, Jungkook get Xaiver." Jungkook hums, glancing at his comm. Ansel is on the east side, Emeraude is on the north, and Xaiver is on the west. Looks like Jungkook is heading west. He takes off, leaving the small storage room and going down the luxurious hallways. This place is nothing like he's ever seen before. Ever.

The pristine gold and white color scheme makes it feel like he's an actual God. The hallways themselves have high ceilings and a width that makes the crew's mansion look small. The only thing about it that's weird is the lack of people. Literally there's no one in the hallways. Sometimes there's a team of Martian security wandering around, but there's only about four of them per team, and they're easy enough to avoid.

Jungkook goes down the west side, making sure his pistol is still holstered before bringing up his map. He follows his directions, navigating through the seemingly endless halls before reaching his target's office. "I'm almost in position, how is everyone?" Jungkook says.

"I'm close, although I'm kind of cheating since I was already in the vents," Y/N replies. Jungkook chuckles as he locates the entrance to one of the vents, busting it open and crawling inside.

As soon as his armor hits the cool metal, he closes the vent behind him and speeds up his pace. "I'm almost there, probably a minute out," Jimin says, his voice lower than before.

"Scared you're gonna talk too loud and alert the Martians?" Y/N asks.

"These helmets were designed to keep every sound humanly possible inside them," Jimin says.

"No offense babe, but you're you, I'm sure you'd find a way," she teases.

"Yeah, if I were to put you on all fours I'm sure you'd find a way too-"

"Anyway," Jungkook interrupts.

He finds the entrance to Xavier's office, peeking inside through the slits in the vents. Xavier's talking to someone on the phone, pacing back and forth in his room. Jimin showed him a picture of all the leaders before they left, so Jungkook is easily able to identify him as they take their places. "I'm in position, let me know when you guys are good," Jungkook says. He waits a few moments, then hears soft breathing.

"I'm ready," Y/N whispers. Again, a few beats of silence.

"Ready," Jimin says.

Jungkook sucks in a deep breath. "Three, two, one..." Jungkook bursts out of the vent, causing the man to look at it in confusion.

"Jesus! Hang on, Joe. My vent just burst open for no reason. I have to call a repair guy again. Sorry, can I call you back?" Xavier nods as he listens to what 'Joe' is saying, then, he sighs. "Yeah, I'll call you in a few minutes. See you later." He hangs up, so Jungkook grabs his pistol. "Jesus that vent scared the shit out of me. Why is it even popping like that?" he asks, clearly not expecting an answer as he starts to dial a number into his phone. Jungkook doesn't let him have a chance to finish. He pulls the trigger.

The man's lifeless body falls to the ground, landing with a solid 'thump'. "Deed is done," Jungkook whispers, holstering his pistol again. He adjusts the lid to the vent, making sure it's mostly put back on before opening the door. He departs, closing the door behind him and staring at his map. As soon as he locates the back exit, he sprints down the hall. They don't have much time. There's cameras in this place, they'll notice the door opened and no one stepped out of it. At first they might write it off as a glitch, but if they don't see Xavier for a while, they might check it out.

"Done," Jimin says. Jungkook hums in response, turning down a hall. He nearly bumps into a security guard, but he manages to side step just in time. Jungkook gulps, rushing even more. They need to leave, literally now. If that guard goes into Xavier's office, the palace will be locked down.

"Done," Y/N's voice says.

"We got them? We got all three?" Jungkook asks in disbelief.

"Sounds like it," Jimin replies. As much as Jungkook hates killing, they kind of deserved it. This stealth mission surprisingly worked. "Alright, rendezvous at the back exit as planned. Let's get out of here boy and girl," Jimin teases.

"Sir yes sir," Y/N replies. Soon enough, there's silence. Jungkook is fine with that, very fine to be honest. He keeps up his pace.

By the time he reaches the back exit, he lets out a huff. "I'm here," he says.

"Alright, good. Go outside. As soon as you get there just go, don't risk being caught inside in case they lockdown. At least one of us has to make it home," Jimin says. Despite how much Jungkook wants to protest, Jimin's right. So, he walks out. No one's around of course, but that doesn't stop him from hiding behind a wall, peeking at the door to see if it opens again.

A full minute passes, then, it does. "Who's that?" Jungkook asks.

"Me," Jimin's voice replies. "Waiting on you, Jagi. Don't take too long, I'm gonna get us dinner reservations for six to celebrate the end of the war, what do you say?" He has a hint of amusement in his tone, which makes Jungkook smile. However, all humor fades when she doesn't reply for several seconds. "Jagi-"

"Shh, what if she's hiding from someone?" Jungkook says.

After another thirty seconds, Jimin lets out a shaky breath. "Jagi, what's wrong? Answer us, please." Again, silence. "Jagi-"

"Jimin!" her voice screams.

"Baby! Baby, what's wrong!?" he calls.

"H-Help! Please!"

Her comm goes dark. Jungkook stares at the outline of Jimin's suit, panic in his expression. "Y/N," Jimin murmurs, glancing down at the ground. Jungkook feels anger spike in his chest, wanting to just run back in there. "Jungkook?"

"Yes?" he asks, fearing the answer.

"Get to the ship."

Jungkook almost throws a tantrum at the command. "I'm not leaving her!"

"Neither am I. Get to the ship. At least one of us needs to get out of here. If you hear nothing from me in an hour, you leave. That's an order, got it?"

Jungkook goes quiet for a moment, then sighs, knowing he can't argue with his Captain. "Alright, but please, bring her back."

Jimin sighs. "Trust me, Kook. I'm not leaving without my fiancée." Jungkook starts to run, then, he peeks over his shoulder, gazing at Jimin.

"Good luck."

~13:09~

Jimin cracks his knuckles, glaring at the woman sitting on the chair. "You have two options," he says, cracking his neck. He kneels in front of her, placing one hand on her thigh. She gulps, sweating. "You tell me where she is and die quickly, or you tell me where she is and die slowly. Up to you."

As soon as he went back inside, he went north. Emeraude was dead, and there were two security chiefs inside the room, talking to someone on their comms. So, Jimin knocked the chiefs out and took them here, to the most secluded room in the area. Completely soundproof, meant for interrogations. The first one, a middle-aged woman, is tied to the chair, her head bloody from where Jimin originally hit her.

"I don't know," she mutters, shaking.

"You do," he whispers. The other is tied and blindfolded, turned around so there's no way he can see them. "I heard you talking on your comm, telling someone to bring the intruder to a place. What place was it? Point to it on the map." He brings up the map, giving her a good view of it.

She glances at it, then grits her teeth. "I'll never tell you."

"I don't want you to tell me, I want you to show me," he murmurs. "Come on, you still have fingers. Point." Once again, she doesn't comply.

"You know what? I hope she dies. I hope she burns and rots, she fucking deserves it!" the woman says. Jimin, knowing she wants a reaction, doesn't let his anger show. Instead, he smiles and stands, shutting off his map.

"I said you still have fingers, you might not for much longer, so use them while you have them." She keeps her jaw clenched, so, Jimin shakes his head. "You chose this, not me." He goes to the corner of the room. This place is less modern, in a way. It's older, meant for this kind of stuff. Martians are a different breed. There's a pipe in the corner, and he picks it up, holding the metal in his hand.

When he comes back over, the lady seems even more scared. He kneels, placing the tip of the object on her knee. "What should we do first? Knee..." He trails it down to her ankle. "Or ankle? I'll give you a choice." Again, silence. He snickers, standing again. "Knee it is." Within a heartbeat, he swings the pipe as hard as he can, landing right on the bone. She hollers in pain, making him wince too, but he covers it up as best as he can.

His armor is uncloaked, his helmet off and laying in the corner. He already made sure the room didn't have cameras, so he's completely safe. Door is locked and blocked too, so everything works out. She pants, her head tilted back. "Well? Care to show me where now?" he asks. At her silence, he grunts. "Maybe your friend will be more cooperative. What do you think?" She doesn't reply, so he stands and strolls over to the other side, pulling the blindfold off of the man.

"Commander Park?" the man asks, eyes wide.

"Good," Jimin murmurs, gritting his teeth. "You know me, that means you know who you took, right?"

"Y/N..."

"Exactly," Jimin says, his voice lower than it ever has been before. "You took something from me, and I don't care what I have to do to get it back. If you don't tell me, I'll burn down this entire place to find someone who will. I'll give you the same options I gave your friend. Either you tell me where she is and die quickly, or you tell me where she is and die slowly. Up to you."

The man sets his jaw. "Slowly."

"As you wish." Instantly, Jimin hits the man's stomach with the pipe three times in a row, him gagging and coughing at the action. He grabs the man by the jaw, squeezing tightly. They lock eyes, Jimin glaring at him. "Anything to say?" The man shakes his head. Jimin backs up. "Fine, I'll do what I didn't do to your friend." He swings the pipe, hitting the man in the ankle as hard as he can. easily breaking it. Jimin ignores the man's screams as he gazes at the woman. "Alright, back to the girl with one knee," he says, circling over and kneeling in front of her. "Come on, where is she?" he whisper-asks, narrowing his eyes. She seems too out of breath to answer, so he drops the pipe and slides it across the floor.

Jimin grabs her pinky finger, looking up at her as he does. "Where is she?" He brings up the map with his free hand. "Point, and it all ends. You know what, I'm feeling nice today. If you show me right now, I'll let you dirty Martians live. If not, then, well, slowly it is." She still doesn't talk. So, Jimin breaks her pinky without second thought. Again, more screams as he moves to the next finger, breaking that one too. He doesn't stop until just her index finger and thumb are fine for both hands. Yes, even her other hand got destroyed. Six fingers total.

She shakes her head, biting her lower lip. "Show me," he whispers, bringing up the map one last time. She weakly points to a spot on the map. The powerplant. He smirks. "Good." He stands, going to the other side. "Now, listen here, asshole. Point on the map where she is. If you point to a different spot, you're both dying slow, painful deaths."

The man gulps, staring at the map, then, he shakes his head. "Fuck this, fuck you!" he shouts.

Jimin sighs, turning off his map. "You really... really shouldn't have done that." Jimin licks his lower lip, grabbing one of the knives the two of them had. Without questioning himself, he cuts open the shirt of the Martian, the man squirming from the sudden exposure. "We often forget our roots, don't we? We forget that at the dawn of civilization, we humans came up with the most vile ways of hurting each other. Have you ever read about the ancient Assyrians?"

The man trembles in the seat. "No."

"They are the ones we believe designed a torture method that involves your skin." Jimin presses the tip of the knife against the man's skin, right above his chest, but not quite high enough to reach the neck. He applies pressure, the man gasping from the sudden blood dripping down his body. "It was outlawed, deemed inhumane. It hasn't been practiced in centuries, as far as we know." Jimin pauses, moving the knife down to create a deep cut that has the man screaming. He halts the blade to meet the man's eyes. "But dead men tell no tales, right?"

"What are you doing to me?"

Jimin moves the knife down more, the man jumping in his seat and trying to break free to no avail. More skin breaks, more blood spewing out and creating a pool under the man's feet. Tears gush out of his eyes, Jimin stopping before going any further. "Flaying," Jimin says, tapping the edge of the knife to add pressure. "Point," he adds, bringing up the map. The man pants, then, shakes his head again. "This is getting old real fast. Do you really want to die this painful of a death?"

"Jesus, just tell him!" the female shouts. "Let this be over!"

"You should really listen to the lady." Jimin keeps tapping on the knife to add pressure, and finally, the man points. He also points to the powerplant. Jimin stands and leaves the knife inside the man's chest, turning off his map. "I'm mildly impressed," Jimin murmurs, grabbing his helmet. He turns back to them, leaning against the blocked door.

"You're... not gonna kill us?" she asks in disbelief.

Jimin scoffs, pulling out his pistol. "You took my girl. If someone finds you, you'll tell them where I'm heading..." He doesn't even hesitate: he shoots them both in the head. "Rot in hell."

As soon as the adrenaline fades, Jimin's stomach lurches. He vomits, feeling sick with himself. He just did that. He just tortured and killed two people to find Y/N's location. "Fuck..." He groans, coughing and spitting on the ground. Tears burn at his eyes, but he doesn't have time to dwell on it. Powerplant. His girl is in the powerplant. He grits his teeth, shakily standing, wiping his mouth, and putting on his helmet.

He activates the cloak again, unblocking and unlocking the door before stepping out. The area is on full alert. Yeah, everyone knows the leaders are dead. Jimin gulps, rushing down the hall. He follows the map displayed inside his helmet, running down the corridors and dodging guards until he finds the entrance. When he's confident no one is around, he slips inside quietly, shutting the door behind him.

The area is large, many structures blocking his view as he crouches, creeping along the side of the first main reactor. The giant generators providing power to the entire area are working loudly, and for good reason. To mask her screams. As soon as he hears the faint sound of her, he sprints, going down the walkways, desperately searching. It's taking all his effort not to shout out her name, but he resists as he locates the corner.

She has to be there, she just has to be. He creeps towards it, peeking past one of the walls. His jaw drops. She's there, tied to a chair like how Jimin tied those two security chiefs, tears rushing down her face. "Baby," he mutters, his own tears welling up in his eyes. Four people surround her, all armed. They have pistols holstered, Martian uniforms on. The familiar colors of their jumpsuits fill Jimin's vision, but that's not what he cares about right now.

"Where are the others?"

"I told you it's just me!" she shouts, leaning forward. "My name is Y/N L/N, my father is a war hero, you know that. I had to get away from them, why won't you believe me?!" She gets slapped, which makes Jimin's eyes go dark. For a split moment, he feels as though he has enhancements. He stands, grabbing his pistol and bringing it forward. He doesn't want to risk hitting Y/N, but he also doesn't want her to suffer any longer.

"You say that you tried to get away, but three of our leaders are dead and there is nothing on the security cameras. Is it because of that fancy suit?"

Y/N spits on the woman interrogating her, shaking her head. "Fuck you. It's just me." The woman slowly wipes away the spit, staring at Y/N in disgust.

"Fine. Take off one of her fingers."

Y/N's eyes widen. "N-No! No stop! It's just me, I swear!"

Jimin rushes into action, shooting the two farthest away from her. The other two jump and turn around. "Just shoot! Shoot the air!" the woman shouts. Jimin ducks and rolls forward, pushing the woman back, away from Y/N's chair. He executes her as well, just in time too, seeing as the last man starts shooting. Jimin jumps, rushing around Y/N's chair and pinning the man to the wall.

The man drops the pistol, Jimin doing the same as he chokes him out, not stopping until his breathing halts. The man slumps to the ground, causing Jimin to let out a breath. He uncloaks, taking off his helmet and kneeling. "Baby," he mutters, placing his hand on her cheek.

She tears up. "I-I'm so sorry, one of them came around the corner and ran into me. The cloak s-stopped working, I don't know what happened, next thing I knew I was being dragged away..."

Jimin sniffles, nodding as he unties her. "Don't apologize, you can't control that. What matters is you're alive. How hurt are you?"

"I'll be fine," she says. As soon as he finishes untying her, she nearly falls out of the chair. He sighs, holding her in place.

"Come here," he murmurs. She does, leaning on him for support as he helps her stand. "Where did they hurt you?" he asks. She points to her face, then her legs.

"They threatened to break my ankles, but they didn't. They just kept hitting and kicking me..."

"Oh baby," he whispers, kissing her forehead. "Let's get you home, okay? I'm so sorry, Jagi. You're safe now. You're safe. You're with me." He holds her close, shushing her soft cries. "Gwenchana. Gwenchana, Jagiya."

At his soothing tone, she nods. "Thank you."

"Don't thank me, I can't last a day without you. Now come on, let's get out of here. Armor up." She sniffles again, nodding before backing off. She's moving slower due to her injuries, but she manages to armor up on her own, refusing his help every time he offers it. As soon as they're ready to go, Jimin puts on his helmet and cloaks, her trying to do the same.

"It's glitching," she murmurs.

He grunts. "Of course it is. Take a Martian uniform, cover your face as much as possible."

She follows his orders, taking off the armor and putting on a jumpsuit instead, wincing as she takes it off of the closest deceased woman. "Hopefully this fits," she says as she slips into it, zipping it up. It's a little baggy, but oh well. She sighs, grabbing her pistol and its holster before strapping it around her thigh. As soon as she's ready, she gives him a nod. "Home?" she asks, and he gives her a soft, sad smile.

"Home. Come on, Jagi. Baby misses us..."

A/N: I deleted a lot from that violent scene to make it not that bad but still... personally it doesn't bother me at all, but I know everyone's different so I hope no one got grossed out by Jimin's actions. Anyway, we're three chapters away from the finale so buckle up!
