Marinette sighs as she does quite regularly now. She turns to Tikki and says,  "You know something, Tikki?"

        "What is it Marinette?"  Tikki asks.

       "Adrien has been gone for years," Marinette says. 

       "Do not worry, I am sure everything will be fine.  You just wait and see," Tikki says.

      "Besides, he does contact you every day by text, emails you every Saturday, and calls you once a week," Tikki points out.

      "I will be right back," Tikki says and goes inside to eat a cookie.

     As Tikki eats a chocolate chip cookie, she thinks Marinette worries too much.

       Marinette comes back inside and says, "Tikki you are right,  Adrien does care about me, thanks for the reminder."

      "Sure, anytime, Marinette!" Tikki says, then giggles.

         Marinette checks her voice mail on her cell phone and smiles when she hears Adrien's message.

       "Adrien must have called and left the message while I was on the balcony earlier," Marinette says.

      Marinette smiles and thinks, perhaps, today was a good day after all.

  Back with Adrien, in New York City, New York, Adrien thinks,  "I hope I have enough for the airfare soon so I can see Marinette!"

     Adrien's  POV:
    He believes Marinette must be as beautiful as ever, probably even more since it has been two years since they last were together in person.

  He can tell New York City has some great sites to see, most he has seen multiple times by now, but he misses his old life with Marinette.

   He goes back to his apartment for a bit.

"Plagg, let us call it night.  I have to get up early for work tomorrow," Adrien says.

    "Ok, good night then, Adrien!" Plagg says, then bites into some Camembert cheese.

Plagg finishes his cheese, yawns, and falls fast asleep.

 Four days later, Plagg notices Adrien looks upset. 

  "Adrien, what is it?  You look stressed out." Plagg says.

"Oh, it is nothing Plagg.  It is just my day off of work, and I have no idea what to do with the time.

  "Go site seeing again, or shopping," Plagg says.

    "I am not much of a shopper, and have plenty of groceries already. Plus, I have seen most of the sites by now." Adrien remarks.

     "Well, I have no other ideas.  Nada, as in nothing more to suggest. So have fun with your boredom while I eat my cheese.'' Plagg says.

    Meanwhile, with Marinette and Tikki,  "Tikki, what do you think about my light blue highlights?"  Marinette asks.   

     "I think they are rather cool, Marinette," Tikki says.

    "Your welcome, Marinette!  Someone is headed this way,"  Tikki says and hides inside her purse.

    "Hey, girl!  Wow, look at your hair, I love it!" Alya says.

     "Thanks, Alya good to see you again.  How are things with you and Nino?"  Marinette remarks.

    "Hi, dudette!  Alya and I are just great!" Nino says.

         Marinette laughs.  "Nino, I should have known you were here too,"  Marinette says.

        "Glad you are two are still together," Marinette remarks.

    "Same here,"  Alya and Nino say.

      "It has been four days since Adrien last called me and I feel bad that I missed his call,"  Marinette remarks.

      "Marinette, why do not you email him or try calling him for  a change?" Alya asks.

     "Wow, Alya that is a great idea,"  Marinette answers.

     "See you later,  I must return to my room and contact Adrien,"  Marinette tells her.

       "Ok, bye, Marinette!"  Nino says. He and Alya leave.
