Personality:
If someone were to describe Ethan in just one sentence, it would be that he's a ball of rage. That's it. That's him. One sentence. He gets angry so quickly and so viciously, it's like you've blinked and now there's a volcano blowing up in front of you. It's not very pleasant. And also rather intimidating. And surprising. He's like a ticking time bomb, with the slightest thing causing him to go off into a fit of rage in seconds. Anything and everything will make him angry. His fury is also extremely destructive and he tears whoever angered him to shreds and probably attacks them (even just a little) with his powers. And his fists.

Though his fury is probably his defining and most noticeable feature, it's not his entire personality, though it may seem that way at times. He's also rash, impulsive and as stubborn as a bull, and will no change his mind about anything, no matter how much someone tries to. He never stops or hesitates to think, maybe this isn't such a great idea or maybe he should make a plan. He just does. And it usually gets him in a ton of trouble. He can be extremely jealous a lot of the time, and hates it when people do better than him - which is often - and it gets him worked up. He's extremely competitive and hates being last. He will go to extreme lengths to avoid it, including cheating, fighting and punching people. Very few work but he tries to it all the same. His drive to be the best is extreme and is normally not a bad thing, since it gives his motivation to work hard and practice, but when it's taken to the extremes he takes it to... well, to be blunt, it's not a good thing anymore.

However, despite all this, he actually is surprisingly charismatic and charming, with plenty of friends and able to convince others of his opinions with ease. He's an excellent speaker, and his drive to do rather than think makes it seem as though he gets stuff done. He's a natural-born leader, and almost a good one. He's intelligent and persuasive, with a wide knowledge on plenty of topics and being extremely logical and quick-thinking, which lends itself well to being a leader. However, his jealously and anger and rashness hold him back from being a great one. His intelligence is hindered by his blind rage and emotions and need for validation. He has so much potential, with his natural ability to make others like him and his need to act, but he's too caught up with the fact he's not the best, not at the very top, to really reach his potential.

He can be an entertaining friend, with a decent, albeit somewhat twisted and angry, sense of humour and is, strangely, often the one to break the rules that he so desperately tries to use to get up higher. He's more than a bit of a rebel, and likes doing his own way, even if it's the wrong way. He does hold grudges, for way too long, and is extremely vengeful and likes to get people back, especially when he feels they've really wronged him and he's really bad at forgiving but he's loyal to a fault, at least to those who are loyal to him. As long as you don't cross him or backstab him, he won't do the same to you and he'll stand by your side and genuinely try to be a decent friend. He's not great at it, but he does his best.

Ethan has a ton of potential, but is straddled somewhere between villain and hero, desperate for validation and blinded by fury while simultaneously having the power to be a great leader. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

Hobbies:
He enjoys reading, surprisingly and playing chess but he's rather die than admit either of those hobbies. He likes practicing with his power, especially when there's people watching and he can show off. He enjoys listening to music, especially rock music. He's also a fan of soccer and baseball and he likes playing most competitive sports. He's a fan of TV shows too, but would never admit to guilty pleasures like 'Pretty Little Liars' and 'Vampire Diaries'.

Skills:
He's pretty decent with his power, but it's more of a blunt, heavy tool than it is a sharp knife. He's got a ton of power, but without any of the finesse. He can lift a truck, no problem, but ask him to disassemble a gun carefully and put it back to together in working order with just his powers and he just can't do it. He's also pretty good at chess, baseball and soccer, though he'll never admit to the chess one. He's also pretty good at maths, but it's not something he actively shows off.

Fears/phobias:
His greatest fear is everyone surpassing him and him being stuck behind, never being able to move ahead, always stuck at second best. He's also terrified of dying and does his best to avoid getting into situations where his life is at risk. He just really doesn't want to die, not yet at least. He's afraid of being abandoned or left behind, as well as being ignored or going unnoticed. He's scared of spiders as well. They freak him out. A lot.
