Third Person's POV

In Lumiose City, Ash and his friends have found a new and an old friend. Their long friend Eli returns to them as he now travels with him. As for the new friend, Ash has caught a Froakie, his first Kalos region Pokémon at Professor Sycamore's research lab.

"Come on!" Bonnie was running with Sylveon and Pikachu running behind her. "Hurry it up you, guys! You two can register for the Kalos League over this way!"

Ash smiles and says as Eli shakes his head "Yeah, we know Bonnie!"

Clemont States "There's no need to rush the Pokémon Center will still be there,"

Eli comments "I don't know how she has so much energy."

Gary turns to Eli, and responds "It's like another version of Ashy boy. but younger"

Ash exclaims as he turns as he was angry. "Hey! When are you gonna stop calling me that!?"

"I'm still shocked that you still call him by that," Eli comment on Gary, he then turns to Clemont and tells him "Anyway, thanks for helping us, Clemont."

Clemont shakes his head and replies "Please thank nothing of it Eli. I confess I'm a little in awe of you."

Eli ask "In awe?" Eli's confused as Clemont looks up.

Clemont then explains "I know some of the Mega Evaluation and see how you not only obtain Mega Evolution and were willing to do anything you could to help Ash and that Garchomp back there. Just watching it gave me courage."

If Eli blushes a bit, as he scratches the back of his head he says "O-Oh I'm flattered, but It's not that big of a deal."

Clemont then tells Eli "It was. Seeing how quick-minded you were to help Garchomp without injuring it was amazing." Clemont explains as Eli just nod Clemont looks up as he was staring at the tower, "I'll just have to do better." Eli heard Clemont as he raised an eyebrow, "Hmm?" Clemont realizes what he did as he shakes his head, "Sorry just talking to myself."

Eli nods as he looks at Ash and Gary. "Okay, can you guys not fight. We still need to register." Ash and Gary stop as they blush before scratching their head. causing the Pokemon to giggle a bit he thinks 'things never changed'

They made it to the Pokémon Center as Bonnie was in awe of it. Ash, Gary, and Eli were the same as this was their first time being at a Kalos region Pokémon Center. They look forward to seeing Nurse Joy there.

Much like in the other region, Nurse Joy has brink pink hair and fair skin. However, this Nurse Joy wears a pink and white dress with a white collar and the same tights and shoes as the ones in Unova.

"Good morning." Nurse Joy greeted then while bowing as Eli cringes a bit.

"Good morning to you, Nurse Joy," Ash greeted as Bonnie notices Eli's expression.

Bonnie ask Eli "Hey, what's wrong?" The others turn as they notice Eli's cringe expression.

Gary sighs and ask "You still don't like that huh?" Eli nods at Gary

Clemont ask "What's wrong?"

Clemont frowns a little as Gary explains "It's something that Eli doesn't like. When Nurse Joy bows towards us he cringes as he doesn't like when people do that."

Eli adds "not to offend anyone of any sort. It's just doesn't feel right. Like I know that it might be their job, but at the same time, it makes me think that I'm one of those spoiled rich kids and the people who bow are my servants, and I dislike that. So, I just want them to greet me in a way that makes them comfortable"

Nurse Joy smiles brightly at Eli's explanation. "Wow, I haven't met anyone like that!" She giggles before explaining things. "At this Pokémon Center helping Pokémon in need is our number one goal. We're here for Trainers and Pokémon alike" she added

"We were hoping that you could help us register for the Kalos League" Ash explained as Eli nods agreeing with Ash's words

Nurse joy kindly responds "I sure can. If you, please touch this panel with your Pokédex" She said.

"Okay." Ash and Eli place their Pokédex on the panel as it was showing their profile.

'Ash from Pallet Town is now registered to enter the Kalos League. Several badges currently in your possession are zero. We wish you the best of luck.'

Nurse Joy tells Ash and Eli "Now you guys are all set"

Ash and Eli pick up their Pokédex. as the raven hair boy says "Awesome, and I'm gonna win. My next step in becoming a Pokemon Master!"

Eli then tells Ash "well Good luck, if you think just because we're friends, I'm gonna go easy on you. You're dead wrong." Ash and Eli face each other, Ash smiles as Eli smirks.

"Now every registered Trainer is eligible to receive a Kalos region badge case, here." They hear Nurse Joy explaining as Eli and Ash then look to the side and see a Wigglytuff holding two items.

"So, in this region, you guys have a Wigglytuff" Eli noted.

"Why yes! Here in the Kalos Region, my able Pokémon Center assistant is Wigglytuff," Nurse Joy explains.

"That's great. Thanks, Wigglytuff" Ash thanked the Pokémon as he and Eli got their badge case.

Nurse Joy tells Ash and Eli "You two are all registered. Good luck! Train and always do your best."

"Right!" Ash and Eli said as they nod at her

-meanwhile-

At a local cafe lies Team Rocket in disguise. As they were having a cup of coffee Meowth place a cub device on the table. A screen lit up as it was a man sitting on a chair.

"Good news, Boss, we arrived at the Kalos region on time and according to plan," Meowth explains.

"Our goal is to catch as many rare and powerful Pokémon as possible," James added in.

"And we're committed to that goal. You can count on us." Jessie concluded.

"Good. I'm certain the Pokémon you catch will be an important addition to our work." The Boss smirks as they pet a Persian. "Get to it."

"Sir!" The video call ended as their boss that goes by the name Giovanni continue to pet his Persian. Giovanni a middle-aged man that wears a black formal suit with a white long sleeve button shirt with a red tie at the collar. He has short, brown hair and wears black dress shoes. He also has a sinister look on his face.

The trio chuckles before jumping up. "Yeah! The Boss said for us to get to it!" Jessie expressed happily.

Meowth adds "Counting on us! Yippie yeah!"

-Meanwhile...again-

Ash was on a call when a Rotom face was covering the screen. "Hey, Rotom." Ash and Pikachu wave as Rotom zips out.

"Hello, Ash!" Professor Oak came in as Gary was now with Ash. "Oh, Gary good to see you two! How are things so far?"

"Great! We arrived safely in the Kalos region." Ash explains to him

Professor Oak notice Gary's nervous expression, so he ask "Is something wrong Gary?"

"Huh?" Gary looks up as he shakes his head. "Nothing wrong Gramps. We have someone for you to see."

"Oh, and who would that be?" Professor Oak ask raising an eyebrow.

"That would be me, Gramps." Eli walks towards them as Professor Oak's eyes widen.

Professor ask in disbelief "Eli? Is that you!?"

"I don't know, is there another Eli out there?" Ash, Gary, and Professor Oak fell to the ground by his bluntness.

Professor then says "Yeah, that's you. So... you're traveling with them?"

Eli nodded at Professor's question and says "We ran into each other last night. After our talk, we're starting a new chapter."

Professor Oak smiles as his eyes widen, "That's great! I'm glad that the three of you are back together"

"Yeah, we're gonna start our journey soon." Sylveon came as he jumps on Eli. "Veon!"

"So, this is the famous Sylveon I've seen on Tv." Professor Oak sees Sylveon but when Gary was getting closer towards Eli, he quickly glares at him. Professor Oak thinks 'So, his Pokémon holds a grudge at him.' He then says to them "Good! Have fun on the road." Professor Oak smiles as the three of them nods and reply "Thanks."

"I already got my first Kalos Pokémon." Ash shows the poke ball that has Froakie. "Wonderful!" Professor Oak's eyes sparkle.

"Check it out!" The ball opens as Froakie was now sitting on the counter. "Ah! What have we here! A Froakie, a Kalos Water-type Pokémon!"

"You're right!" Ash smiles as Eli shakes his head. "You still know everything."

"Hey, Rotom! I can't see! Move!" Rotom suddenly got into the camera as Professor Oak couldn't see them. He grabs Rotom as it leads to him getting electrocuted

They nervously chuckle as they ended the call. They go out as Bonnie and Clemont was waiting for them. Ash then says "Guys! Thanks for waiting!" They run to them as they notice that Clemont was holding on to a device.

Clemont ask Ash "Hi, Ash, didn't you tell us you were going to challenge the Santalune Gym first?"

Ash replies "Yeah. I'm pretty sure the Gym leader should be back by now."

Clemont then says "I think the best way to get to Santalune City is by traveling Route 4 all the way there." Clemont shows that the device was a towns map as he shows the route.

"Then Route 4 it is!" Ash turns to see Pikachu and ask him "Are you psyched Pikachu?" Pikachu lift his fist in the air. "Pika!"

"So, why don't we hit the road?" Clemont suggested. "Well let's go!" Bonnie cheers, "The sooner we leave, the sooner we'll get there!"

Eli then looks at Gary and call him "Hey, Gary." Gary turns to see Eli looking at him as Eli ask him "Do you still have all six Pokémon?"

Gary asks back "Umm yeah? Why did you ask?"

Eli replies "I'll tell you when we get to Route 4" Gary nods despite still confused of why Eli ask him such question

"Ash..." The two of them turn to see Ash, Bonnie, and Clemont talk to one another. "We're all good friends now, right? So, we're going with you."

Ash ask surprisingly "No joke?" Ash was still surprised

Eli was lost by what Clemont said to Ash so he say "Wait, I thought that you guys were already traveling together"

Gary shakes his head and explains "We weren't. They notice that we were lost and help us out."

Clemont then says "But we're serious. Ash, Eli, remember what you two did back there?" Clemont then looks excited and serious. "You guys showed me what it's like to have real courage! I know I can get stronger we've both can get stronger traveling with you three!"

Eli couldn't help but smile of how honest Clemont is with his words as Bonnie finally says "You're right, Clemont." Bonnie agrees as Clemont look at the three Kanto boys "So? Is that okay?"

Ash answers "Of course, it's okay! Traveling with friends is way more fun." Ash smiles excitedly.

Gary adds "After that speech, it shows to us how serious you are," Eli nods agreeing with his childhood friends' words

Clemont and Bonnie laugh as they were glad to join. Ash then says "Alright, it's a deal! We'll have a great time!" Ash brought his hand out.

Clemont replies "Yeah, we sure will!" Clemont shakes Ash's hands.

Bonnie whines and says "Hey, no fair! I can't reach!" Bonnie puffs her cheeks which made Eli chuckle of how adorable Bonnie acts making the other three Male present blush unnoticed by Eli

Ash and Clemont kneel as this time Bonnie, Gary, and Eli joined in. "Let's go meet lots and lots of Pokémon!" Bonnie said excitedly.

Ash then says "Right! Good friends! Together!" Everyone smiles. And then Ash finishes"Kalos, here we come!"

-Time Skip-

They were now at Route 4 as Bonnie was happily running until Pikachu, Froakie, and Sylveon stopped moving as they look up.

"Hey, what's up?" They were still looking around until a berry hit Pikachu in the head. They were curious as lightning suddenly hit as the berry hits Bonnie in the face, "Aah!"

Ash ask "What was that?" Ash looks around as Clemont went towards Bonnie

Clemont ask his little sister "Bonnie are you okay?"

Everyone looks to see a small-looking mouse with orange and black fur. It somewhat looks like Pikachu only that the tail is small and has odd whiskers

Ash comments "Never seen that Pokémon," The little mouse was looking mad as Sylveon wasn't backing down.

Bonnie squeals "Ohh! It's so cute!" The little mouse turned towards Bonnie as it was walking towards her. Sylveon stepped in as the little mouse was upset, "Dena!"

"Syl Sylveon!" The two of them stared at one another. "It sure doesn't look like it's afraid of us," Bonnie noticed it as Clemont notice something about the mouse, "It's an Electric-type."

Ash says "Oh, so that's an electric type." He and Eli pull out their Pokédex as it was towards the new Pokémon.

'Dedenne, the Antenna Pokémon. Dedenne communicates long distances with other Dedenne by sending radio waves through its antenna-like whiskers.'

"Wow! So that's a Dedenne!" Ash puts his Pokédex away as Eli looks at his, "It says that it's also both an Electric and Fairy-type Pokémon."

"I want it so bad!" Bonnie squeals as she shakes Clemont. "You'll keep it for me, please!?"

Eli ask "Keep it?" he furrowed his brows as he was confused.

Bonnie explains to Eli "Yeah. He'll keep it for me until I'm old enough to become a Trainer," Bonnie explains as it made Eli have some deja vu.

'It's like I'm seeing another May and Max... so cute' He looks at the two siblings and sees them as Clemont is May and Bonnie is Max.

"Pretty please, I'll take care of it." Bonnie then did puppy dog eyes as Clemont was thinking about it.

"Aw do it." Ash insisted. "I can help you catch it if you want?"

"You will? Thanks a lot, Ash!" Bonnie cheers. "Alright then, let's catch Dedenne." Clemont agrees as Eli smiles at the scene

"Hmm. Huh? Right." Bonnie looks at the berry before going to Dedenne. "Hey, Dedenne, you wanted this, right?"

Dedenne slowly walks to Bonnie as Eli realizes what was wrong. "It must've thought that Sylveon was gonna take it."

"Hmm, that's right. Here take it." Bonnie smiles as Sylveon was a little on edge as Dedenne was close towards Bonnie.

Suddenly a bird swoops in and takes the berry off of Bonnie's hand. Everyone gasped as the bird was landing on a tree branch.

"Hey! What's the big idea?" Ash looks at the bird while Rogue pulls out his Pokédex.

'Fletchling, the Tiny Robin Pokémon. Although Fletchling's chirp is quite beautiful to hear it is relentlessly tough with those who enter its territory.'

"No fair! That berry belongs to Dedenne!" Bonnie stared at Fletchling. Then it ate the berry as it was happy.

"It ate the berry" Eli stated as everyone was shocked at it.

Sylveon and Pikachu hear something crying as they see Dedenne crying. They were concerned as the others turn to see it cry.

"Dedenne, what's the matter?" Bonnie was going towards it, but Dedenne ran off crying. "Dedenne wait!"

"I don't think it's coming back." Clemont quietly spoke. "It must've been hurt that Fletching ate its berry." Gary guessed as Eli nodded.

Froakie suddenly jumps up as it attacks Fletchling. It dodges all of Froakie's attack as it flies in the air.

"Look at that. Fletchling's fast." Ash was shocked before smiling. "Alright, I'm gonna catch that Fletchling now!"

"Fletching is a Flying-type. Pikachu has the advantage since it's an Electric-type." Clemont commented

Bonnie was crying as Eli was rubbing her back. She turns as she hugs him, "Take a deep breath. 3,2,1... 1,2,3," Bonnie follows Eli's counting as she was calming down. "good girl"

"You're not gonna try and catch it?" Gary turns towards Eli and asked as the Sky-blue hair male shakes his head.

"Nah, Ash saw it first so he can get it. Besides, I already have six Pokémon at the moment" he responded

"Kay, Pikachu, let's go!" Pikachu was about to step in when Froakie suddenly went in front of him. It jumps up as it attacks again.

Fletching dodges it as it was now serious. "Come on Froakie! We've don't even have a plan!" Ash quickly turns to Pikachu, "Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"

Pikachu was about to use his move when Froakie suddenly stops him. He jumps again as Fletching uses Double Team.

"It's using Double Team!" Clemont commented. Froakie was building up water as it uses Water Pulse.

It exploded as it hit all of the fake Fletchling. The real one quickly swoops in as it uses Peck. It hit Froakie as it crashes into the tree hard.

"Froakie!" Ash quickly rushes towards Froakie. "Froakie are you okay?"

"Froak" Froakie gave out a weak cry. "Take it easy, just let Pikachu handle this."

Froakie was serious as everyone was caught off it was looking at Bonnie as Gary knows what was going on. 'I see, Froakie wants to battle because of Bonnie.' Ash thought

Froakie quickly jump out of Ash as it went to battle.

"Hold on! Didn't Professor Sycamore say that Froakie had a habit of ignoring its Trainer when battling?" Clemont remembers as it was new to Eli. 'But it was cooperating when it was with Ash last night.'

"I'm starting to understand." Ash realizes as Clemont turns to Ash as he continues "Stories about Froakie leaving its Trainers...I get it!" Ash smiles as everyone was confused. "Huh?"

Fletchling flies down as it was going for another Peck. It hit Froakie as it crashes to the ground hard.

"Stop Froakie! Just chill out!" Ash rushes to Froakie as he holds Froakie tight. "You're only going to hurt yourself."

Froakie was angry as he tries to break out. "I know how you feel, Froakie. But you've gotta listen to me."

Eli yells "Ash!" Eli's eyes widen as Ash quickly looks up, "Huh!" Fletching uses Razor Wind as everyone jumps out of the way.

Ash ask groaning "Everybody okay?"

Eli groan but he quickly realizes that something was around his waist. He turns to see Gary looking at him and ask Eli "Are you okay?"

"Ye-Yeah, I'm okay." He quickly got up as he help Gary get up. "Sylveon?" He turns to see Sylveon running towards Fletchling, "Wait Sylveon!" Eli called his Pokémon.

"Veon!" Sylveon jumps up as he uses Giga Impact, It hit Fletchling as everyone was shocked,

Clemont exclaims "That was Giga Impact!" Clemont's eyes widen.

"Sylveon knows Giga Impact!?" Gary was shocked as Eli nodded.

Eli then explains "He knows some good moves since we've been together for a long time! And I believe he just learned Giga Impact! Sylveon stop, it's not your fight!" Sylveon stop attacking as he went to Eli "I know that you're upset that we got hurt. But don't just attack without thinking, okay?" He tells the intertwining Pokemon.

Sylveon slowly nodded, "Syl..." he cried.

Eli sighs and hugs his Pokemon and adds "you were just trying to protect me...Thank you" he said Sylveon snuggles his face with his trainer.

Ash then tell Froakie "Hey, Froakie, I understand." Froakie looks up at Ash, "You want to get even with Fletchling for making Bonnie sad."

"Froak," Froakie said sadly. "Is that true?" Bonnie rush to Froakie as they were embarrassed, "Thank you Froakie!"

"But you can't do that without a plan." Ash looks up where Fletchling is. "Okay, Fletchling can fly. But thanks to Sylveon, it's pretty beat up. So, we can find out a way to lure it in."

Clemont then chuckles, "Well, just leave it to me. You see the future is now thanks to science. Clemontic Gear on!"

"Clemontic what now?" Eli's eyes widen as Clemont pulled out a gear.

Clemont Announces "Presenting my Flying-Type Pokémon Attracting Machine!" as Ash and Bonnie were in awe. While Eli and Gary look at it dumbfounded.

'It looks like an old record player you'll see at a grandparent's house.' they both thought

"You see, bird Pokémon have a homing instinct. By using sound waves of a certain frequency this little invention of mine can attract or repel bird Pokémon by affecting their internal compass." Clemont explains as he smirks "Watch this, power on!"

'why I have suddenly a bad feeling about this' Eli thinks to himself

Clemont used his gadget as it was sending wavelengths Fletching looked curious.

"It's starting to work." Clemont smiles. "So cool! Man, science is so amazing!" Ash stated as Eli stared at Ash with disbelief

'Since when has he been interested in science!?' he questioned.

Suddenly multiple eyes started to show as everyone was on alert, "Huh!" Fletchling was now yawning as Clemont was confused. "I don't understand? It makes no sense"

Pikachu, Froakie, and Sylveon quickly look to the side. "Umm Clemont." Eli started to hear some buzzing sound as he could get what it was coming from. "You should stop" he tells the blonde male.

"Beedrill!" Gary yell as multiple Beedrill was surrounding them. "Clemont turn it off! That machine is luring them not Fletching!" Gary yelled as Eli and Sylveon got themselves ready if they have to fight.

All of them charge at them. "They're coming after us!" Ash yells. "Let's go!" Gary yell as they left except for Eli.

They turn to see Eli and Sylveon looking at them. "Sylveon! Spin around and use Swift!"

"Syl...!" Sylveon runs towards the Beedrill. He jumps as he spins around while using Swift, "...Veon!" It knocked off some of the Beedrills as some of them have also been knocked down unconscious.

"Eli!" Ash yells as Bonnie's eyes widen, "Get out of there!"

"You guys run while we try to knock them out!" Eli looks back as he turns towards the Beedrills. "Sylveon use Fairy Wind!"

"Sylveon!" Sylveon jumps up as he launches a Fairy Wind. Hitting some of the Beedrill as the other were nervous.

"Clemont!" Bonnie yells as Clemont acted fast. "I-I must've picked too low a frequency! And a higher frequency would've worked a whole lot better on bird Pokémon! Let's try this!"

Clemont uses the machine again. However, it made the Beedrills angrier as it glares at Eli and Sylveon. "Stop it, Clemont, you're making the Beedrill even angrier than before!" Ash yells.

"Eli!" Bonnie yells as Gary quickly runs and grabs Eli's hand.

Gary tells Eli "Come on!"

Now all of them was running as the Beedrills chases them. "I'm sure I can affect the Flying-type Pokémon if I just crank it up to full blast! Here it goes!"

Eli turns to the machine as his eyes widen. "Clemont don't you dare-!"

💥BOOM💥

The machine exploded as a large black smoke came. It made all the Beedrills fly away as everyone groans except for Eli who he and Sylveon got protected with Sylveon's protect.

"Looks like you blew it again," Bonnie commented as they slowly get up.

Eli then states "At least the Beedrills are flying away" everyone sees the Beedrills flying away.

"Is everyone okay?" Gary ask.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Bonnie answers. Eli and Ash nodded as the raven hair male groaned from the explosion.

"But why..." Clemont was fine but he was upset that the machine failed.

Ash praises Clemont "Clemont that was great. You attracted all those Beedrill!"

"Huh, I guess I did. But..." Clemont was slightly feeling better as

Eli sighs and then says "Clemont you shouldn't be too hard on yourself. Your machine did its main thing, attract Flying-type Pokémon, and that is what it did. It just didn't attract birds, so it just needs some improvements."

"Yeah, yeah you're right!" Clemont was feeling better as he turned towards them

"Umm Clemont, you're glasses" Eli said as he stood up as he took Clemont's glasses. It has some ashes from the explosion as he cleans it. He places it back to Clemont's face as it was all clean out. "Can you see better now?" Eli asks as Clemont was frozen from the action.

Bonnie watches the scene as she sees Eli holding the Beedrills back to now helping Clemont. "Ah! I decided!" She stated happily

"Huh?" Eli turns to see Bonnie kneeling in front of him.

"Your courage as you were willing to fall back for us and now you help us stand. You're perfect for my brother! Please marry my brother!" She said.

"...Huh!?" Eli's eyes widen as he blushes "m-marry?" He questioned.

Clemont quickly pulls Bonnie. "Bonnie! I thought you were only doing this towards girls!?"

In return, Bonnie playfully shrugs, "Well he's an exception. I mean he already got the looks and now he showed me all the more reasons why he should marry you!" She said

Clemont blushes as Ash and Gary were shocked at the Idea of Clemont...with Eli...

They heard laughter as they looked up to see Fletchling. "It's laughing at us." Bonnie realizes that the laughter was from it.

"Huh!" Ash watches Fletchling as he notices something. "I just got an idea!"

Fletchling landed on some rocks as Ash smiled. "This is it. The perfect place to battle. Time to settle the score!"

"Settle the score?" Bonnie question

Eli says "He means that he's gonna catch Fletchling."

"Yup. Together!" Ash agrees as he crouches down at Froakie. "I'm your Trainer, right? That means it's you and me!"

"Froakie!" Froakie nodded.

"Great! This whole area will be the battlefield!" Ash starts to explain as Eli and Gary start to pick what he's talking about. "It's full of low and high places and with your awesome jumping skills, you'll rock!"

"I have no idea what any of that meant," Bonnie commented.

"Watch and you'll see," Gary instructed her

"Go, Froakie. Jump above Fletchling! Ready?" Froakie started to jump as they jumped on some rocks. They were close to Fletchling as it started to fly, however, Froakie jumped where Fletchling once was.

"Yes! Now jump higher!" Ash instructed. Clemont and Bonnie now realize as Gary and Eli nod.

"Ash is taking all the advantage of all the different ledge heights and combined with those jumping skills, Froakie will have more mobility" Gary explains.

Froakie was chasing Fletchling as they were right behind it. "Now use Water Pulse!" Froakie jumps up at the same time Fletchling did as they use Water Pulse. It was missed as Froakie was near some rocks Ash adds "Make it hard to fly!"

Froakie started to attack as Fletchling was dodging all of it. While flying it notices a shadow shape like Froakie as it uses Peck. As it charges, it was a decoy as Fletchling was trying to get it off of them.

"Now Bubble, go!" Froakie was on a rock that was higher where Fletchling is flying. He uses Bubble as he hits Fletchling, making them fall from the hit.

"Alright, go Pokeball!" Ash threw it at Fletchling as it made contact. It went inside as it was shaking until it broke free.

"No! It didn't work!" Bonnie commented. "You were so close!"

Eli adds "I hate when that happens." Eli shakes his head as he is sitting down while watching.

It uses Razor Wind as Ash notices it and yells "It's attacking! Jump up and get above it again!"

Froakie was dodging the attack as it was now jumping to the point that Froakie is face to face with Fletchling. "Water Pulse!" Froakie used Water Pulse as it was a critical hit. Fletchling was falling once again as Ash became more determined. "This time for sure! Go, Poke Ball!" It hits Fletchling again as it goes inside the ball. It was shaking as it clicked.

"I've caught a Fletchling!" Ash cheers as Froakie and Pikachu cheer with him. Then in an instant Froakie flops down panting.

"You okay Froakie?" Ash crouch at Froakie. "I caught Fletchling 'cause of you."

"Well, that was something," Eli commented

"Froakie's jumping kept getting better! Same with your teamwork!" Clemont mentioned.

"Yeah, I'm starting to understand a lot about Froakie, thanks!" Ash pulls out his Poke Ball, "Come on out, Fletchling!"

Fletchling came out happily, "Fling!" It starts to fly down as everyone looks at it. "From now on, we're gonna be good friends! All of us!" Ash stated.

"And Fletchling, tell me if you get hungry next time. Because stealing other Pokémon's food is bad." Bonnie scolded.

"Fletchling." Fletchling apologizes as Bonnie smiles. "Okay, you're forgiven."

"Great! Alright! Let's all head to the Santalune Gym!" Ash stated anxiously.

And so, Ash has another new friend, Fletchling. Now, as Ash, Gary, Eli, Bonnie, and Clemont set their sights on Santalune City our heroes' journey truly begins.

"So Eli, why did you ask earlier if I have all six Pokémon?" Gary asks as he remembers what Eli said earlier.

Everyone turn as they were confused by Eli's request. Eli was facing behind them as Sylveon glares.

"It's because..." Eli turns around as he smirks while holding a poke ball, "I want to battle you!"
