Third person's POV

After Leaving Camphrier Town our heroes continue on their journey to Cyllage City, and Ash & Eli's next Gym battle challenge.

Serena looks at her town map "Let's see; in order to get to the Pokémon Center, we pass through this forest" Serena explains.

Whitley was writing something on his notepad which Eli looks at the white hair boy curiously and walking up to him "Hey Whitley, uh... I normally wouldn't be nosey, but every time we walk out of anywhere, we went, I've always notice you writing something on that note pad, and I couldn't help but be curious, if I have to ask, what are you writing in that note pad?" he asked.

Whitley looks at Eli surprised and looks down embarrassed hands Eli the note pad and the light blue hair boy looks at the note and sees that it was the adventures where our heroes went through, he soon realized when he recognizes the part mentioning a boy dancing with a Snorlax.

"I-I was writing a novel based on out adventure, and I used different names just for everyone's privacy's sake" Whitley explains "I was planning on telling you guys about it so that you guys can be the firsts to read before anyone else does" he adds.

Eli goes back to read the title calls "Rogue's adventures in the Unknown" he says reading the title "that's a quite interesting name" he complimented the white hair guy.

Whitley blushes and looks down "T-Thanks y-you're the first person other than my mom appreciates my writing" he says.

"Oh really?" Eli then asks.

Whitley nods "My dad isn't that fund of me wanting to become a writer since he needs me to be the heir of his company, and he's much stricter than normal ever since he and mom divorced" he explains.

Eli looks at Whitley sadly "I'm so sorry, Whitley" he says.

The white hair boy waves the bluette boy off "It's nothing, I'm used to it, and since Maddie decided to go off on a journey it brings me a excuse for me to keep on writing my story without worrying about father destroying my work" he then says

Ash looks forward and looks with awe "Wow! what's that?" Ash says gaining everyone else's attention.

"Pikachu" Pikachu looks in awe as well.

Clemont looks at where Ash's looking "Oh that? that's a radio observatory" he tells the ravenette Kantonian.

Serena looks at the blonde with glasses "Radio observatory?" she repeats.

Clemont nods "right; it's a facility that receives radio waves from outer space; then, it automatically analyzes those waves utilizing the latest state-of-the-art-high-technology equipment" Clemont then explains to the brunette female while everyone else was looking at the blonde.

"I'm not sure what you're talking about, but it sounds cool" Ash says to Clemont.

"Pika!" Pikachu.

Gary and Eli look at their childhood friend with a sweat drop 'Not surprising for us' they said in their thoughts.

"Umbre/Syl" Umbreon and Sylveon look at Pikachu with the same expression as their trainers.

they then hear a sound of ruffling bushes, and they see Meowth with scratches marks on his face causing Umbreon to be on his guard and stand in front of Sylveon.

Meowth falls on his knees "Hey you lugs, help me!" Meowth yells out of fear before collapsing unconscious.

Eli goes to Meowth "Meowth! What happened!?" he asks as Sylveon runs up to the injured talking Pokémon much for Pikachu and Umbreon's jealousy, Eli looks back at the group "Meowth's hurt we need first aid, asap!" he tells them.

"Right, Bonnie!" Clemont agrees before looking at his little sister who nod agreeing.

"Sylveon get my kit that's in my bag" Eli tells the intertwining Pokémon who nod and opens the bag and pulls out a white kit with a green cross printed in the center.

after a while of treating Meowth's injury Meowth wakes up and sees a worried Sylveon staring at him.

"Veon?" Sylveon cried asking the talking Pokémon.

Meowth sits up and looks at Sylveon "I-I'm okay, thanks for asking" Meowth says with a small smile not noticing the death-threating glares Pikachu and Umbreon are sending to Meowth.

Sylveon pushes Meowth down so the normal type Pokémon can rest properly.

"Sylveon's right Meowth, take it easy, your body's not fully recovered, yet" Eli tells Meowth.

Clemont then goes up to Meowth "here take this" Clemont says while handing Meowth a cup of water.

Meowth sees the cup and gladly takes it before chugging the whole water in one go "Yeah, that hit the spot" he sighs with relief "You lugs saved my life, I owe you big time" he says to the group.

"Sylveon?" Sylveon tilts its head looking at Meowth confusingly.

"Huh? why am I here alone?" he repeats what Sylveon ask but in human language "Oh that's right! I came all this way to tell you you're in danger" the then tells the group.

"Danger? what are you talking about?" Clemont questions.

"Yeah, I want to hear more" Ash adds.

"Pika" Pikachu agrees.

Serena looks at the talking Pokémon unsure, while Eli, Maddie, Whitley, and Gary look neutral at this.

"Just thinking back on everything that happened gives me the creeps; it was like the worst nightmare anybody could have" Meowth explains with widen eyes that describe that Meowth's traumatize with Arceus knows what.

Eli 's eyes widen before he then gets closer to Meowth "just calm down, Meowth; you were about to have a panic attack" he tells Meowth which the talking Pokémon inhales and exhales slowly until he's fully calmed down "now can you explain?" he says.

Meowth looks at Eli with awe 'Now I see why James like this twerp' he thought before nodding and begins to tell our heroes "Jessie, James and I were in a cave planning on our plan of action and then in that same cave, we came across with a cloaked figure calling herself madame X, she with a partnered Malamar she tried to mind control us with Malamar's Hypnosis when we tried to fight back it was already too late for most of us as I was the only one who fight off the hypnosis by fury swiping myself, and since I didn't have a choice but to run out of that cave, so I ran and ran as fast as I could; I never thought I'd get a load of someone so creepy and Kooky" Meowth explains completely terrified Meowth then jumps up "We can't just stand here Yapping, Madame X is coming to get her hooks in Pikachu and Sylveon next!" Meowth tells the group and pulls out his claws "And I refuse to let anything happen to Syl- I mean them!" Meowth says with a embarrassed blush.

Eli looks deep into Meowth's eyes unlike any average human Eli can tell and see signs where a person or a Pokémon is lying or not and for hearing the story and see the fear in Meowth's eyes there's no doubt for him that Meowth's telling the truth, and the only one who knows about that fact about him are Sylveon, and Gary.

"Eli what do you think?" Gary asks the bluette boy making everyone look at Eli.

Eli sighs "you may or may not believe it, that's up to you, but Meowth's telling the truth" he tells everyone making them look at the blue hair boy with shock.

"How can you be so sure?" Serena asks.

Gary looks at Serena "out of the three of us, Eli can read people and Pokémon so easily that you won't even notice that he's reading you, he could easily tell whether the person or Pokémon is telling the truth or hiding something that they don't want to share" he explains.

The group then hear a sound of People groaning and they see Jessie and James walking up to them with Wobbuffet following behind them.

"Meowth, what are you doing here?" a hypnotized James questions the talking cat Pokémon.

"You better hurry and catch Pikachu" Jessie adds.

Eli gets up and look at both Jessie and James' deadpanned look on their faces "be careful guys, something's not right with them, is this the side effect of Malamar's hypnosis that you mentioned, Meowth?" Eli ask the talking Pokémon.

Meowth nods "yes, it's true, please, Eli please tell them that I'm telling the truth!" he says shocking the others, including Ash and Gary, they would only know that any of the three Team Rocket members calls them by their names when they're serious.

Maddie and Whitley get their guards up and stand next to Eli "We got your back, Eli" Maddie says as her twin brother agrees.

"Yeah, something's completely not right with these two and that Wobbuffet" Whitley adds.

"How come?" Bonnie asks the trio.

"Look at their eyes, Bonnie, they seemed like they don't have life in them" Whitley explains which Bonnie shivers when she finally notices their eyes.

"Let's move!" Ash tells the other.

Gary looks back "too late for that, Ashy Boy" he says at they all see Malamar and Madame X standing before them.

"It's them, and that's Madame X" Meowth tells the group.

"What kind of name is X?" Serena question.

"How should I know!?" Meowth ask back desperately.

Eli pulls out his Pokédex pointing it at Malamar

"Malamar, the Overturning Pokémon, and the evolved form of Inkay. Possessing the strongest hypnotic powers of any Pokémon, Malamar can compel others to do anything it wants them to do."

"So those are the famous, Pikachu and Sylveon, a strong looking Pokémon indeed" Madame X says.

Sylveon growls at Madame X only to see Umbreon standing in front of the Intertwining Pokémon.

"I think I'll make you my servants right here and now, Malamar!" Madam X says as her Pokémon's body begins to glow.

the group then covers their eyesight "careful guys if you look at the Malamar you'll get mind controlled in less than a second" Whitley tells the others.

"Pikachu stop them with Electro Ball!" Ash yells

"Sylveon join Pikachu with Moon Blast!" Eli adds.

Pikachu generates a yellow blob of electricity and launches it with his tail while Sylveon hurl a pink Blob of Pink light energy at Malamar causing to create a smoke screen.

"Scram, while the scramming's good!" Meowth then says as the group with the talking Meowth run off the scene but only to be stopped by Jessie and James.

"Leaving so soon?" Jessie asks while she and James landed on the ground with the help of Malamar's Psychic "Pikachu will now become a member of our Pokémon patrol" she says.

"Pokémon patrol?" Ash repeats.

"Unstoppable and destined to take over the world and put our beloved Madam X on the throne to rule it all" James explains.

Eli frowns "I don't like the sound of that" he says

"Wobbu" Wobbuffet cries which scares Bonnie.

"There's no way we let yo take over the world!" she yells as Dedenne agrees.

"Using Pikachu to take over the world is just plain wrong, you're nuts!" Meowth yells which he realizes what he just said and sweat drops out of embarrassment and which Eli was the only one who notices this 'Of course, not that I think about it that what we're always trying to do' he thought.

Pikachu and Sylveon were then taken by a Psychic attack

"Pika!/ Syl!" the two Pokémon cried.

"Now they're using Malamar's Psychic" Clemont states.

Gary looks at the Moon Pokémon "Umbreon!" Gary calls which Umbreon uses his Psychic trying to pull Pikachu and Sylveon back which Umbreon seems struggling with Malamar's Psychic.

Wobbuffet tackles Umbreon forcing the Moon Pokémon to undo his Psychic as Madame X leaves laughing maniacally with Pikachu Sylveon and Team Rocket.

"Stop! Pikachu!" Ash yells as he and Eli run after them trying to catch up but Madame X was too fast for them.

"Damn it!" Eli curses.

"We got to do something!" Serena state.

Bonnie looks at the honey brunette "I know, but how do we know where they're taking Pikachu and Sylveon?"

"Leave this to us, Eli!" Gary says pulling out his Pokéball "Aerodactyl!" Gary shouts.

Eli know exactly what Gary means as he pulls out a Pokéball as well "Dragonair!" Eli shouts as both Aerodactyl and Dragonair appear before them as they got on their Pokémon.

Maddie gets on Dragonair's back while Whitley gets on Gary Aerodactyl's. 

"Eli, Gary, Maddie, Whitley you two go on ahead we'll catch up!" Ash says "I'm putting all my trust in you in rescuing Pikachu!" he tells them.

"You can count on us, Ash, let's go Aerodactyl!" Gary then yells.

Eli nods "You two Dragonair" he yells.

"Maddie, be careful!" Serena tells the female.

Maddie nods "You too" she replies.

The four of them then fly off leaving the others behind.

Clemont tells the other three trainers who remained on land "I'm sure Madame X has to have a hideout somewhere" Clemont says before chuckling "the future's now thanks to science: Clemontic gear on! I thought we'd encounter a situation precisely like this one!"

"You did!?" everyone asked with disbelief that Serena and Bonnie had a facial expression that literally says "how the fuck did that Wobbuffet-sized invention fit in that backpack of his?"

Meowth looks at the invention as well with a wondering expression 'how did all of that fit in that backpack of his?' he question.

"Awesome!" Ash state with awe "It's a Pikabot!" Ash says.

"I call it my automatic Pikachu Retrieval device" Clemont introduces the Pikachu lookalike invention.

"So cool!" Ash says.

"Pikachu retrieval device?" Serena repeats.

Bonnie sighs "You get no points for good names" she says.

"Dene" Dedenne agrees.

Clemont then presses the nose of the invention "Observe! this detects Pikachu's unique energy pattern and will track it to the farthest reaches of the land, the bottom of the ocean or the expanse of the sky".

"Great! Now we'll find Pikachu for sure while Gary and the Others are in pursuit" Ash says excited to see the invention do its work.

"It's incredibly inspiring that the steady progress of science can never be stopped" Clemont then explains before the invention begins to make Pikachu sounds while it eyes begins to flash "it's picked up a signal; onward! Go, Automatic Pikachu Retrieval Device!" Clemont cheered for the device which begins to roll off "Begin retrieval!" Clemont then says as he and Ash ran off with Serena, Bonnie, and Meowth following behind them.

They then arrived to the Radio Observatory that they saw earlier before they met Madame X causing the invention to explode on their faces.

"Oops, another failure" Serena says as Bonnie coughs out smoke from the explosion.

"Failure is the mother of success; I so want to believe that" Clemont responds before he falls on his back while Ash coughs out smoke from the explosion as well.

"Guys!" they all look, and they see Gary and the others arriving to where they are.

"Did you catch up with them?" Serena ask.

"We lost them half of the pursuit" Maddie explains.

"that's the radio Station that we saw before" Whitley then Points out.

"Look! isn't that Officer Jenny's Motocycle?" Bonnie question pointing at a familiar motorcycle parked in a far yet noticeable distance.

"You're right; I wonder what she's doing here" Ash wonders.

Eli then walks up to Ash "For now there's only one way to find out, you guys" he says before frowning worrying for his partner Sylveon.

Ash notices this and pulls the blue hair boy to a comfort embrace hugging Eli from behind "Sylveon's strong, and he has Pikachu to help out" Ash reassure in a calm yet comforting voice which was a surprise for Eli since he'd never hear Ash talking to him like that.

Eli blushes and looks at the ground and places his hands on both Ash's forearms "thanks Ash, I needed that" Eli thanked Ash

Ash smiles brightly completely ignoring the death glares of both Clemont and Gary.

"You know if that Pikabot of your was on the right track maybe this weird joint is Madame X's hide out" Meowth theorizes making everyone turn to the talking Pokémon.

"Could be Officer Jenny could have gotten a report and went to investigate" Clemont agrees "I'd say that the possibility is quite high" he adds.

Ash then let's go of Eli "Okay, let's go in" he says before starting to walk in the others agree only for them not noticing the cameras of the place.

Eli then stops and pulls out a Pokéball "Gardevoir come on out" Eli says as the Embrace Pokémon appears next to him and the two begin to walk "I want you to look around and if you see something like a camera, no hesitation, use Psychic and destroy them" he instructs the Psychic and Fairy type Pokémon who nod.

-Meanwhile-

Malamar used Hypnosis on Pikachu, Sylveon was badly injured due to the fact that Malamar being a Dark Type and they're weak to Fairy Types Malamar uses it's Psychic.

"Come Pikachu" Madame X tells the Hypnotized Electric type Pokémon who went up to her lap "Good, you're going to make quite a great job for me" the mysterious woman tells Pikachu who cried dully out of life.

"Madame X we have intruders" Jessie tells Madame X as they see the group walking inside the observatory.

"So they've found my hideout, those fools! they're going to pay for this" Madame X states before gasping before seeing Gardevoir using Psychic breaking the camera causing the screen to go static..

"They have the Pokémon, Umbreon, Chespin, Froakie, and Fennekin with them, along with a Mega evolving Gardevoir" James explains "Perhaps you'd like to take them as servants too"

"Enough, Gardevoir is not going to be a servant of mine, as you can see Sylveon is a Fairy type, and Fairy types are a huge threat to Malamar due to be a Dark type! and besides the other Pokémon you've mentioned they prove to be quite useful" Madam X then says as Malamar agrees with her Sylveon takes the chance and crawls away before anyone else could noticed the intertwining Pokémon escaping.

-scene change-

Ash and the others had arrived to a hall that would leave you in two different directions.

"We should split up" Ash suggests.

"Okay, it's best if we split up into groups of four" Eli also suggest.

"Right! Bonnie, come with me" Clemont says before he and Bonnie walk off to one direction.

"Mads and I will go with them" Whitley says as he and Maddie follows Clemont and Bonnie.

Gary looks Ash, Serena, and Eli "so that leaves us four" he says.

Eli picks up Meowth "And Meowth" he says.

Meowth places his paw on his chest "I'd never felt so loved"

"Well you do remind me of Percian, and he's your baby brother" Eli tells Meowth

the Talking Pokémon looks up at the blue hair boy "How's Percy, is he doing good?"

Eli nods "Yes, Meowth, Percian's doing good, although he misses you dearly, but he also believes that one day he will see you again" he explains.

"Meowth has a brother?" Serena questions out of shock.

"Looong story" the tree males and the talking Pokémon said larging the word 'Long'.

they continue walking until they seem a room with broken pieces of fake planets on the ground.

"I wonder if Clemont found any sign of them" Serena wonders.

"Negative" they hear Clemont voice and he and Bonnie walks out from one side of a meteor while Maddie and Whitley walk from another side of the Meteor "I haven't found any sign of them" he says.

"Ash, Gary, Serena, Eli, let's all continue looking together" Bonnie adds.

"yeah, let's go" Maddie and Whitley agree.

Eli takes a step back "No, No, No!" Eli yells out of realization.

Serena Gary and Ash looks at Eli with concern "Eli what's wrong?"

"Don't you hear how they're talking to us? they all fell into Malamar's Hypnosis!" Eli informs the others causing Meowth to panic.

"Not them too!" Meowth panic

"Mal" the four trainers look back and see Malamar floating above them, and its body begins to glow.

Eli covers his eyes "Okay I've not seen a horror movie and I can't believe that I'm experiencing a horror movie experience" he comments Eli looks over and sees Serena looking at Malamar as she slowly falls into Malamar's influence "Serena, No!" Eli screams before tackling the girl down to the ground causing her to snap back to reality "Eli come on!" he hears Gary yelling yells as he run off with Gardevoir following behind him to where Ash Gary and Meowth run off to while Malamar was distracted, and the three trainers and two Pokémon then run off of the room which pisses the Dark type Pokémon off.

The Kantonian boys and Meowth continue on running down the hallway.

"Dig it, now maybe we'll finally get the chance to stomp all over Madam X's plans to take over the world and save our buddies at the same time" Meowth says.

"it's easier said than done! But I agree with you" Gary agrees.

"Umbreon!" Umbreon cries as the Moon Pokémon looks up a head and sees Sylveon tumbling towards them.

When Sylveon looks up it's seemed that Sylveon was beaten up.

Eli's eyes widen with horror "Sylveon!" Eli calls his Pokémon out of fear checking on it "are you hurt?" Eli asks as Gardevoir comes towards them as she uses Heal pulse to heal Sylveon.

the group then arrives to another room.

"Where are we?" Ash then questions.

"It's way too dark to now for sure, but I think we're inside a monitoring room" Meowth guesses.

Eli still carrying a injured Sylveon while Gardevoir still using heal pulse until Sylveon's fully healed.

"Sylveon!" Sylveon happily cries.

Eli hugs his Pokémon partner "Oh Sylveon, I'm so sorry that you have to get hurt just to find us" he apologizes.

Sylveon then rubs its faces with Eli's reassuring that he's okay and happier that he's back with his trainer.

Gary smiles "I'm glad Sylveon's okay" he goes to pet Sylveon but stops remembering that Sylveon still might have a grudge for him.

Sylveon notices this uses his ribbons to grab Gary's hand and makes him pet Sylveon's head signaling Gary that Sylveon's over what happened almost eight years ago. Umbreon sees this and smiles happily, but the moment got cut short when a light turns on, they all turn back, and they turn back and sees Madame X sitting on pile of junk looking down on the group while Team Rocket them.

"You thought correctly" Madame X says while laughing sinisterly.

Ash notices Pikachu on the Cloaked woman's lap "Pikachu!" Ash calls his Pokémon.

"Show them your Power" Madame X tells Pikachu which the Hypnotized Pikachu jumps down and faces Ash and the others ready to fight.

Pikachu uses thunderbolt and fires it at Ash. 

"Sylveon, Protect!" Eli calls the Intertwining Pokémon who jumps forward.

Sylveon cries while pulling up a pink glowing barrier protecting everyone from Pikachu's thunderbolt.

"Why would Pikachu attack me like that?" Ash question out of shock.

"Check out it's eyes, Pikachu's been Hypnotized by Malamar" Meowth says as he looks at Pikachu's eyes.

Ash then notices them and frowns "No way!" he states.

"Pikachu has become my faithful and obedient servant; now stop them once and for all!" Madame X commands Pikachu who charges at them with quick attack but Sylveon use Protect pushing the mouse Pokémon back. 

"Don't get involve you filthy fairy!" a hypnotized Jessie yells pointing forward.

Jessie's Pumpkaboo uses shadow ball on Sylveon which the intertwining Pokémon use Protect to block out the shadowy blob but not noticing Inkay next to Sylveon and uses tackle on the intertwining Pokémon as Pikachu finally hits Ash with its quick attack.

"Sylveon!" Eli calls his Pokémon.

"Ash/Twerp!" Gary and Meowth call Ash.

"Magnificent continue your wonderful work" Madame X tells Pikachu.

Pikachu jumps and attends to use Iron Tail, but Umbreon jumps in but get his by poison sting.

"Umbreon!" Gary looks over and sees a bunch of wild Pokémon as Madame X laughs while Malamar appears with Bonnie, Serena, Maddie, Whitley, and Clemont.

Gardevoir and Umbreon face the wild Pokémon ready to fight them.

Sylveon then gets up and faces Pumpkaboo, Inkay and Wobbuffet.

"Pikachu finish this" Madame X commands which Pikachu uses thunderbolt on Ash making him scream at the shocking pain.

"Ash!" Eli calls the ravenette worried.

"I'll be fine, w-worry about your Pokémon" Ash reassures Eli regardless of be shocked.

Eli then pulls out his Key stone Pendant "alright Gardevoir let's do this!" Eli says as he touches his key stone surprising everyone minus Ash and Gary "As two hearts become one, no one and I mean no one will tear us down, Gardevoir, Mega Evolve!" Eli shouts as Gardevoir's body begins to glow along with its pendant that it has carrying around its neck.

Gardevoir's body begins to glow and while her Mega stone vanishes from sight turning into Mega Gardevoir.

"Gardevoir!" the Embrace Pokémon cries.

"A Mega Gardevoir? Impossible!" Madame X states out of shock

Ash slowly crawls up to Pikachu "Pikachu, my voice, can you hear it?" Ash asks "fight it! you can't surrender yourself to her" Ash tells the Mouse Pokémon

"You fool you can't win" Madame X says before flinching at Eli's dark glare.

"Don't you ever underestimate the powerful bond both Ash and Pikachu have, it's so strong that not even Malamar's hypnosis can break it, you don't have to take my word for it, see it yourself" Eli tells Madame X.

"Sylveon!" Sylveon cries agreeing with his trainer and uses Giga impact to get through team rocket's Hypnotized Pokémon and runs up to Eli. 

Ash smiles at Pikachu "Pikachu, buddy, I believe in you" he says while getting closer to him "we're a team" Ash manages to touch Pikachu who jumps back and stops attacking which surprises Madame X.

"That's it, Pikachu; you can break free" Ash says.

"Syl!" Sylveon cries as Pikachu looks over at the intertwining Pokémon "Sylve! Sylveon!"

"Meowth?" Eli asks

"Pikachu, I know you're better than this, and you're stronger than this, Ash needs you, Pikachu" Meowth explains before frowning a bit "I need you" he adds.

Pikachu's looking at both Ash and Sylveon with hesitation.

"Whatever bond may be left, I will soon break that connection forever" Madame X says.

"Now looks who's the fool? your Malamar's power will not break this long-lasting connection that they have built for the years since they first met, and I'm sure that someone like you cannot break that" Eli tells the cloaked woman with a smirk on his face.

Madame X looks at Eli pissed off "Pikachu stop them now!"

"Eli a little help here!?" Gary asks.

"Gardevoir use Moon Blast on Malamar!" Eli yells pointing at the dark type who's now standing next to Madame X.

Madame X ask "No!" she yells.

Malamar uses Psychic and sends the Moon Blast back to Gardevoir as the Embrace Pokémon sends the Moon Blast back with its Own psychic now both Malamar and Gardevoir are having a Psychic battle pushing the Moon Blast.

While that was occurring Pikachu's struggling to fight off the hypnosis

"You can do it Pikachu!" Ash cheers. 

"Sylveon!" Sylveon cries cheering for Pikachu as well.

"Sylveon!" Eli calls his partner "Go help Gary and Umbreon with the wild Pokémon!" he tells Sylveon who nod and runs to the Moon Pokémon's aid.

Then out of nowhere Clemont's Pikabot rushes in the room and rushes toward Malamar who was surprised and unconsciously undo it's Psychic and Gardevoir launches the moon blast as both robot and Fairy type move made contact with the dark type Pokémon as the Overturning Pokémon falls on its back snapping everyone out of Malamar's hypnosis.

Pikachu looks up at Ash which the ravenette young man seems relief and hugs his partner which Pikachu hugs back.

Gary, Eli, Sylveon, Umbreon, and Gardevoir sigh with relief as Gardevoir turns back to it's original form

Jessie looks around the room very confused "Why are we here?"

"Most likely to figure out where we are" James then says.

Meowth runs up to his colleagues "You're you again! Big improvement!" he says relief that they're back to their normal selves.

"So, who can tell me what's Serena's doing over here?" Clemont asks

"You were all here because Malamar mind controlled all of you! including Madame X or should I say..." Eli says before looking at Madame X's direction "Officer Jenny" he states making everyone including Ash and Gary look at Eli with shock.

The cloak falls off revealing what Eli suspected it was really Officer Jenny shocking everyone minus the blue hair boy even more.

Officer Jenny looks up confused "What am I doing?" she questions

"Like I said, most of us fell under Malamar's hypnosis thanks to Clemont's Pikabot who somehow was still functioning sacrificed itself along with Gardevoir's Moon Blast we'd managed to break everyone out of the Hypnosis" Eli explains.

Then a memory hit Officer Jenny "now I remember, I got a report that strange things were going on here in this abandoned observatory, and hurried right away as soon as I finished reading it, and then I cross paths with that Malamar" she says before being interrupted by Malamar who got back up as Eli takes officer Jenny away from the Dark type.

"Get away from it" he tells the officer who agree while the Wild Pokémon run off.

"Hey! Malamar's saying it's really grateful to Officer Jenny for doing all the work for it!" Meowth says translating Malamar's words in human language.

"What's going on?" Serena questions.

Maddie crosses her arms "Judging by the expression, Malamar's not finished with its master taking over the world plan" she says.

"Of course! Malamar must've Hypnotized Officer Jenny so she could then assume the role of Madame X" Clemont says before turning to Eli "is this what you've figured out?"

"I was assuming that Jenny was Madame X, but I didn't want to jump to that conclusion in case I could be wrong" Eli says.

Malamar cries "Malamar says that's how it was able to start working on a important new weapon" Meowth translates to everyone in the monitory room.

"New weapon?" Jenny repeats.

"And What are you going to do with it?" Ash questions.

"Pika!" Pikachu cries.

Malamar continues "Take over the world! Then that means we'll be doing all the work for Malamar like before" Meowth translate.

"Oh? in your dreams! Inkay, Psybeam!" James yells.

"Pikachu, Thunderbolt, let's go!"

"Sylveon Fairy Wind!" Eli joins.

Pikachu, Inkay, and Sylveon launches their respective attacks and which Malamar dodges the attack with ease before fleeing.

"It's fleeing!" Clemont states.

"Come back and fight, you coward!" Jessie yells angrily.

"We'll get it!" Ash yells as everyone runs after Malamar.

Eli looks at the Embrace Pokémon who's floating next to Eli "Gardevoir, can you still go?" he asks the Psychic and Fairy type Pokémon who nod at him.

They group then follow Malamar to a strange room with unfamiliar things gather around the floor then Malamar floats looking down on them.

"What's that?" Ash questions.

"the New weapon" Officer Jenny says what she assumes what the strange things is "This is it!" she says as Malamar smirks down at Jenny.

"That's right; this is how the new world starts, and that will only be the beginning of it's evil grand design!" Meowth translate as Malamar continues crying "But, now that it's been discovered it has to destroy the weapon right away!" Meowth continues translating before the weapon begins to explode causing the observatory to panic.

"Everyone less screaming and more running this place will collapse on us if we don't leave!" Gary tells them which Eli and Officer Jenny agree.

Everyone then run out of the Observatory even the wild Pokémon who were struggling on finding a exit and the whole observatory explodes; James pulls Eli close to him while being covered by a Wild Exploud.

When the gush of wind tranquilizes Bonnie then notices Malamar flying away and point upward "It's Malamar!" Bonnie states as Malamar flies off to Arceus knows where.

""The beginning of its evil grand design"; those words came from Malamar" Clemont says.

"What does it mean? What happens next?" Serena asks.

"Well, there are still a lot of questions left unanswered" Officer Jenny says.

"Malamar. That's one scary Pokémon" Ash comment.

"Pika" Pikachu agrees.

"You can say that again" Gary says.

"Umbre" Umbreon agrees.

Eli and James look at each other and notices how close the two are with the other Eli looks back at his friends and Officer Jenny chatting.

Eli looks back at Team Rocket and mouthed "Go" he tells them signaling the trio to leave, making them realize that they're still part of a evil organization and they leave James stops and goes back to Eli and gives him a quick peck on the cheek before leaving with a hard blush.

Eli's eyes widen with shock before touching the cheek that James kissed and walks back to the group with Sylveon and Gardevoir following behind him.

Our Heroes and Officer Jenny are left wondering, What Malamar's master plan could be? But Eli and Ash's Cyllage City Gym Battle still lies ahead as the journey continues.

-Meanwhile with Team Rocket-

After Team Rocket successfully run away with the help of Eli, they're now in the woods they all rested on some rocks.

"Being controlled by Malamar like a bunch of robots; how pathetic can we get?" Jessie says exhaustedly.

"Wobbuffet" the Blue Pokémon tiredly cries agreeing with Jessie.

Meowth then sits up realizing something "Hold the phone, Malamar's the evolved form of Inkay, right?" Meowth question.

James looks at Meowth "Inkay?" James repeats.

They all look at the Revolving Pokémon who looks back at them confusedly and smiles and cries happily at them making Team Rocket turn pale.
