Third person P.O.V.

It was a sunny day at Camp Campbell when suddenly...

"Damnit David, we don't need any more campers!" Yelled Gwen annoyed with David's announcement.

"We all ready have enough little shits in this camp and I can't take anymore!"

"Come on Gwen, one more wouldn't hurt." Said David happily.

Gwen gave a small grunt leaving to go find her anxiety pills.

"She's just tired, probably shouldn't have had that campfire last night..." David says to himself.

Then a noise that sounded like a bus stopping make David jump with excitement.

He ran out of his cabin to the bus which had now stopped letting off the new camper.

"Hello, you must be Kay." Said David sticking his hand out excitedly waiting for a shake.

"Uh, I am." She says, looking at his hand unimpressed.

"Um okay, well anyways welcome to Camp Campbell!" He says turning on his heels and heading for the Activities.

Once there, Nikki ran over on all fours and started to smell her.(?)

"David, what the hell?" Max asked motioning to Kay.

"That's our new camper, Ka-" Max cut him off. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't care." Max comments.

David sighs, "Can you at least act interested?" David asks. "It's simple."

"Uh, I'm very interested in getting the hell out of this god forsaken camp." Max says with a fake smile.

"That's the spirit!" David says earning a facepalm from Max.

"Nikki down!" Yelled Neil who just now noticed Nikki sniffing the new camper.

"I'm so sorry, she's such a dog at times." Said Neil pushing Nikki behind him.

"Okay?" Kay say akwardly. "So is anybody gonna show me to my tent or not?"

"Hard pass, I have other things to do." Said Neil resting his arm on Nikki's shoulder.

Kay rolled her eyes, turning back to David about to ask him where she could drop her bags when someone tapped her shoulder.

"What is it now?" Said Kay turning around to see a girl with (H/C) hair and a (F/C) shirt.

"Oh, I just wanted to say Hi." She said with a now nervous look on her face.

"I'm (Y/N), it's nice to see another girl around here." She said gladly.

"Eh, it's not really." Kay says with a hint of sarcasm.

"Okay campers, it's time for lunch. Head over to the mess hall, I heard the Quartermaster made his specialty, mashed potatoes!" Yells David.

Kay sighs, "Well looks like I'll never know where to sleep..."

"Um, you can share a tent with me until you find one of your own." Says (Y/N) grabbing one of the bags next to Kay.

Kay gives a small sigh and smiles, "Thanks (Y/N)." She says.

"It's not a problem!" Responds (Y/N) with a friendly giggle.

(Y/N) p.o.v.

After lunch every camper went back to doing their own things, except, Max, Neil, Nikki, Kay, and me.

"So what your saying is, this place is practically hell and your going to escape?" Asks Kay with a blank expression on her face.

"Yep, but I don't know if you'd be up for it." Said Max gaining a chuckle from Kay.

"Your right, I'm not, have fun getting kidnapped." Says Kay turning around and walking away.

Max just stares with a surprised look on his face.

"Damn Max, you just got told by a female version of you, kinda." Said Nikki trying to hide her laughter.

"Shut it Nikki!" Yelled Max a bit flustered.

( (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), wait a second isn't this a Max x reader? )

"Aw, is someone embarrassed?" Asked Nikki teasingly.

Max oviusly got pissed by that because he just walked away with his hoodie on over his head.

"Come on Nikki, that wasn't cool, I mean... Yeah he's a dick but come on." I say to Nikki and begin to walk over to Max.

--time skip--

I looked for Max about everywhere except his tent and now that I think about it, I haven't seen Kay either.

I start walking towards his tent when suddenly I over hear a male voice coming from inside.

"Sounds like he's fighting with someone." I said in a whisper.

My curiosity got the best of me so I kinda just stood there listened.

I hear him talking about something that I probably won't understand until I hear a female voice.

"Oh Max, it's probably just a set back." Says the female.

(What is this (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))

"Just a set back!?" Yells Max, "I can hardly be near her with out feeling the way I do!"

I could believe what I was hearing...

Max loved someone.

I felt something run down my cheek, I wiped my face only to see a tears.

I began to walk away, the walk turning to a run of sadness and anger.

"Why am I crying?" I questioned, finally stopping.

I wiped my eyes only to begin to cry more.

Max p.o.v.

"Just a set back!?" I yell at Kay, "I can hardly be near her with out feeling the way I do!"

Kay rolls her eyes, "Max, I swear.." she says, crossing her arms and falling back onto a conveniently placed pillow.

I scoffed at her, "Well what's your great idea Ms. Know it all?"

"Just tell her how you feel and if she doesn't except, I'll shoot her." She said showing her toy gun then stuffing it back into her her hoodie.

You might not believe this but, Kay was actually my childhood friend but then she moved away, I hardly remembered her when I saw her.

"Where'd you even get that?" I asked.

She shushed me then winked.

I sighed and slowly walked out of the tent.

"Max!!" Screamed Nikki before takilin me to the ground.

"What the hell Nikki!?" I yelled before pushing her off of me.

"Do you know where (Y/N) is, she sorta disappeared." She says getting up.

"No, and why are you looking for her?" I asked her suspiciously.

"Be cause the writers too lazy to think of another senareo." She says blankly.

"Oh, so am I supposed to help you guys look for her or.." I question.

"Yes, now come on, this chapter is all ready too long." She says, grabbing my hand and walking to go find Neil.
