Today I'm sending my prayers to everyone caught in the midst of disaster. If you haven't been following American weather patterns, the east coast (where I live) is about to be hit with Category 5, 4, and 3 hurricanes. Irma, Katia, and Jose. The West Coast is fighting wildfires and earthquakes, Mexico is fighting earthquakes, and there's an underground volcano in Yellowstone that might be about to erupt.

The world is a terrifying place. I'm only naming what's happening in North America this week. I won't lie to you all, I'm scared. I'm scared because of the idiotic decisions our federal government makes, the threat of nuclear war, global warming, genocide in other countries, the revocation of DACA...it's just messed up.

We'll make it through this. I know we will. We just have to focus on our locus of control.

So basically what I'm saying is ignore all the things I just listed I was distressed about. Focus on what you can control to improve your life.

And stay safe.
