It took us a while to get out of there, but luckily we didn't run into any of Kronos's monsters.

When we emerged out of the mountain, I wasn't expecting company. But Percy and Calypso were standing there. For a second, Percy looked glad to see us. Then he saw Luke. He narrowed his eyes at him.

This was it. The moment I'd been dreading since the beginning of the quest. Percy seeing Luke. I couldn't blame him for being mad, but it didn't stop me from wishing everything could go back to normal.

I hadn't realized we were walking toward them until Luke was standing right in front of Percy. Percy didn't even acknowledge him. He just looked at me and Thalia.

"Where did you go you just disappeared off that island!" Percy said. "We didn't realize until we had left! And then the island disappeared!"

I opened my mouth to reply, but the ground below us rumbled. Then voices.

We all ran over to the nearest thing we could find and hid.

"...don't know how, it just happened! I swear my powers weren't working before!" Someone said. The voice sounded familiar.

"Well we need to find them. Fast we have how many days left?" Someone else asked.

"Five. And then my dad's gonna destroy everything and of course we still have Kronos to deal with." Came someone else's reply. Nico.

I walked out from my hiding place.

Piper was the first to spot me. "Annabeth?"

"Hey guys." Percy and walked out from behind me, followed by Thalia and a very confused Luke.

"Luke???" Nico asked, spotting him behind us. Then his shock went away. "Of course." He muttered. "Out of all the dead that could walk out through the doors it had to be Luke."

"Okay who is this guy again? Should I know him?" Leo asked.

"Also what happened to you Thalia? You just disappeared. How?" Hazel demanded.

Our friends started asking questions demanding answers. I started from the beginning, well, not the whole beginning, but as much as they need pedi to know, and told them everything I knew. At the end, every question had been answered expect one. What the heck and happened to me and Thalia? I'd been trying to answer that question since I'd landed there with her.

Luke spoke up. "It was Medea." He said. "The plan was to get you two to come after me so the rest of you would come after them. As for Nancy Bobofit, she's not a monster. She's a mortal that can see through the mist. She's been working for Kronos for six years."

Nico and Percy were both glaring daggers at Luke. It was like a contest of who could look more angry at him. But when Luke mentioned he name Nancy Bobofit, Percy stopped staring at him in anger and looked at him shocked.

"Nancy Bobofit??? Are you sure that's her name?"

"Yeah," Luke said slowly. "Why?"

"Nothing. It's just, I know her. She went to school with me the year I find out I was a demigod- ohhhhhh." Percy said.

"What?" I asked.

"That's the year Mrs Dodds- Alecto whatever her name is tried to kill me for 'stealing' Zeus's lightning bolt." He air quoted the word stealing while glaring at Luke. "Nancy must've known. She probably thought I was gonna die so she never did anything."

"Wait you stole my dad's lightning bolt?" Jason asked.

"No I was accused. But it turned out to be Luke."

"Hey that was a long time ago!" Luke defended.

"Yeah just like it was a long time ago YOU GOT MY SISTER KILLED!" Nico rose from his seat.

"THAT WASN'T EVEN MY DAULT! HER DEATH WAS PART OF A PROPHECY!"

"A PROPHECY THAT NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU HADN'T HELPED RAISE KRONOS!" Percy shouted, rising from his seat too.

At this point, they were all shouting. All I wanted was this to end.

"YEAH BUT THE ONLY REASON KRONOS WAS STOPPED WAS BECAUSE OF ME!"

"YEAH, WELL HE WOULDN'T HAVE NEEDED TO BE STOPPED IF YOU HADN'T STARTED IT! SO YOU DESERVED TO DIE!"

"SHUT UP!" I screamed. "Everyone just shut up"

Everyone was silent.

Percy Nico and Luke didn't say anything now. Just stared.

I felt tears forming in my eyes. I wanted to break down and start sobbing.

This was it. The two parts of my life had collided. And I had to choose.

Percy? Or Luke?
