I made sure that Yuu was long gone and my mum was busy up stairs before leaving the shop. I walked across the street as fast as I could and tapped on the passenger backseat window. Instead of rolling down like I thought it would the door opened and I was pulled in.

"Jay... " I mumbled and he sat me in his lap and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"What with that tone?" He asked and I sigh.

"I thought I told you it was fine."

"You did but-"

"I wanted to actually see." I jumped at the feminine voice from the front seat and looked at the rearview mirror. Jay's mum stared at me through it and I blushed and tried to shift off his lap, only for him to keep me in place.

"Ms. Houston.." I say and she chuckles. "Just Naya, sweetie."

"You told her." I whisper and Jay's ear and he sighed. "She overheard us talking on the phone.."

"I did, sorry about that, but I couldn't help it. You are my son's mate after all." She smirked at the last sentence and I hid behind my hands, blushing a bit. Jay let out a chuckle and kiss the nape of my neck.

"I take it your mother doesn't know about your relationship?"

I shrug. "She knows I'm dating Jay... She just doesn't know he's - well you know-.." I mumbled off the last part because if my mother knew that I was saying a gang member she would kill me with food, bring me back to life and kill me again.

Jau rubbed my sides and his mum spoke, "I think it's best to keep it that way, but if she does find out, call me." She tells me and I nod.

"On the other hand, I know it's not my business but I'm going to help."

The fact that she said she was going to and wasn't going to give me a choice made me frown and I felt Jay's arms tighten around me.

"Don't give me that face, mousey. You're practically family now."

"But i-"

"Pride can kill a man." Was all she said and threw a wallot in my lap and I gulp.

"You don't need to worry about where it came from, leave that to us. Take it, you can count it if you want."

I shakingly pick it up and open the wallot and my eyes sent wide.

My fucking goodness I've never seen so many Grants in one place in my entire fucking life!!

"This is too much!!"

"Not really, pay your bills, help your mum and buy you something sexy to wear for my son when you two go out on a date."

"Mum!"

I put the wallot in my pocket and nod, still a bit shaken up.

Jay closes the door and behind him and sighs before kissing my forehead. "I tried to tell her to leave it alone but..."

I shake my head and lean into him. "It's fine, I'm greatful, tell her I say thank you and where did she get all of that!"

Jay gave a lops sided grin. "Beat the shit out of a drug dealer for harassing some lady on the street. He was loaded and we took 'em to the police, they gave us reward money."

I nod, trusting him and he walks me back to the shop.

"Stay safe okay?" I nod again, give him a kiss and he leaves.

I sit in my brother's room while we were playing Mortal Kombat. Of course he was currently whipping my ass since he had Scropian and I had Mileena. I didn't know how to play with her and he was doing all the super and x-ray moves.

"Finish her!"

Rei smiled and did the ending move on me and I pout

"Fatality. Flawless victory."

He laughs and I continue to pout at him. "Cheater." I say and he sticks out his tongue. "You're just mad because I kicked your ass." I shrug, "so what. I wanna play Yakuza!"

"Nope! We're playing super Mario Bros!"

"Wii or 64?"

He smirks, "Now you know I play the 64 my brother!"

His phone started ringing and he answers it while I hook up the Nintendo. I heard him curse and sigh.

"Sorry little cutie but my room mate needs me for something. "

"Its cool, tell him I say hi!"

He nods and opens his arms for a hug and I walk toward him.

Only for him to kiss my lips.

"REEEIIII!!!!""

"BWAHAHAHA I LOVE YOU~" He ran down the hall laughing like a maniac and I decided to get ready for school tomorrow.

The next morning I met sigh in the cafeteria and we started the talk.

"You finished Mr Han's book report?" I ask and he sighs and takes out the folder. "Fuck yea! All five glorious pages!!"

I couldn't help but laugh and the someone sat down across from us.

"Hey Drew! "

He smiles and pushes up his glasses. "H-Hi!" I leaned forward, "so Mr Han's book report?" I ask him and I saw him pale.

"I-Its due today....?"

"Mhm." Sai says and Drew dropped the spoon in his cereal. He then grabbed me and started to cry. "He's gonna throw the desk at me!!!" He yelled and started shaking me like a maniac.

"Well you have until third period.."

He grabbed his back and ran away only to come back with a red face.

"What wrong?" I ask.

"Which way to the lab?"
