Hey everyone! Vanna here (duh). Can you believe it's been almost nine months since Magic's Minister ended? Wow. Since then, I've written the character Q&A, four shorts, and completed my first year of college! O_O

Now people who have been following along with my posts and comments might know that I was debating between two potential projects; a prequel starring Eleyna or a sequel about Feyla and the Healer's Guild. And after a LOT of deliberation and some test chapters, I've decided...

To go with the sequel! *Bursts confetti everywhere*

Sorry to those who were hoping for the prequel, but I don't think Eleyna is quite ready to share all of her story with me. She's a very private queen, after all. *nods sagely* I've already started on the sequel but I don't want to post it until I have a nice, thick chapter buffer ready. The plan is to hopefully start posting it this summer. In the meantime, I thought I'd share a few hints and early reveals to hopefully get you guys as excited as I am. Starting with...

Now I will say that three of the songs remind me of Sedgewick, two of Feyla, and one of Daydrel. You haven't met him yet. He doesn't like Sedgewick (but then again, few do).

Healers don't fall in love with mages. And they certainly don't accept a marriage proposal from the most irritable, work-obsessed one of them all, the Minister of Magic, Master Sedgewick Alverdyne. For optimistic ex-battle healer, Feyla Everbloom, however, the Healer's Guild's hostile opinion of mages can't convince her to abandon the man she's long loved.

But when a wizard out for revenge threatens the guild, Feyla becomes sucked back into the life she thought she'd left behind. As the healers race to get to the criminal before the Magic Ministry, Feyla becomes divided between the beliefs of her former calling and her relationship with Sedgewick. Pressure begins to mount as Feyla struggles to balance her new life and her old in the face of growing disapproval and rejection.

Ties are broken and loyalties are tested when Sedgewick and Feyla's time-tested foundation begins to crumble. They must act quickly because unbeknownst to everyone, time is running out.

And memories have a way of re-emerging...
