Warning:

The yeti is real and serious, don't go up to one and don't go looking for them, they are incredibly dangerous!

Ahh, it's good to be back on the dangerous creatures rather than the nice ones!

First of all...what are the yeti?

Yes, that's right, the yeti.

Not one but many.

They are half bears and they have white fur. They are bigger than the usual bear and they usually walk on two back feet, kind of like humans. I guess that's why it's called the abominable snowman.

Where do they come from and live?

They live in Nepal, China, Russia, India, basically the Himalayas. They like snow and will live in remote places like the mountains where people are hardly ever seen.

They are wild and will attack if anyone comes to close, just like a bear.

Can they wander into towns and cities?

Yes, I guess that they can wander into a small town but not a city. They don't like people and won't go into very crowded places. They might wander into a small town in search of food because the food is scarce where they live or because of terrible weather, although they are very good with bad weather and will take shelter instead of going into crowded places.

So it's most likely that they won't.

Are all the pictures of yeti's real?

No, it's not possible for all of them to be real because if technology these days.

Photoshop and other softwares where anyone can paste something from another picture onto another make it hard to determine which are real and which are fake. So yes, there will be a lot of fakes but it's very much possible that there will be real pictures.

I'm sure a lot of mountain climbers and explorers would have seen a yeti but lots of people wouldn't believe.

Maybe some could have taken real pictures too.

So not all are real but there will be a few real ones.

What do they look like?

Like I said in the first part, they have Snow White fur to blend in with their surroundings, a snowy environment.

They are bigger than the average bear, much bigger and they have big feet that look sort of like a humans. A lot of mountain climbers see these footprints.

Yeti's also have lots of teeth and big hairy hands. They are believed to be half bear and half of some sort of human. Maybe legends and myths are made about the yeti but they are just like an animal, nothing super scary or supernatural really. Just a creature that was thought to be extinct but wasn't.

How do you kill one?

Like a normal bear I would imagine but I don't know for sure since they live in mountain and remote places. They usually leave people alone and so there's no need to hunt them.

Are they aggressive?

Yes, they are half bear so they would be aggressive if confronted.

So that's why you should never go near one if you somehow end up in snowy mountains and lost or just deep in the mountains where it's remote.

If one comes near you then hide and don't move and don't come towards it, it might ignore you. But if one happens to go after you, pretend you're bigger than you are and lift your arms above your head while growling. It should go away but if it doesn't then you have to back down, walking away slowly, still faces the yeti. It should then leave you alone.
