Warning:

Having a poltergeist can be dangerous so don't do anything stupid to provoke it and don't go looking for trouble!

First of all...what are poltergeists?

Poltergeists are basically like a spirit. They don't have a body and they stay in the house.

Poltergeists are mostly playful and they sometimes move things around the house. Some can be connected to the house itself or sometimes even to a person but it's often the house.

Can they hurt you and are they dangerous?

Yes, they can hurt you.

Poltergeists are mostly tame but if you anger it then it will throw random things at you. So don't be THAT surprised if a cat goes flying at you...actually, anyone would be surprised.

Poltergeists can be very dangerous as they can throw a knife or any sharp object and they can easily kill you if motivated!

How do you motivate or anger a poltergeist?

This can be anything from doing something that reminds them of their death to offending them or calling them something they don't like.

Don't ever anger a poltergeist on purpose!

What can you do if you accidentally angered the poltergeists and want to fix it?

Not much is known about this but you can try and apologise somehow.

Some poltergeists might be reasonable and accept the apology or let you make it up to them somehow.

What if your poltergeist isn't that forgiving? What can you do?

If your poltergeist isn't showing signs of calming down then you must have really angered them really bad. The only thing you can do then is leave the house for a while and hopefully it calms down after a while.

If your poltergeist doesn't forgive you then you might be in trouble.

The best thing to do is move houses.

You could also try and find out who the poltergeist is but this is nearly impossible AND dangerous so I really don't recommend that.

Moving houses should get rid of it but if it's a rare case and if it's attached to you then you have to find out who it is.

Think:

Who died recently?

Who would want to stay connected to you?

Who wouldn't forgive you and attach to you?

And who has died that has quite a temper?

If you know someone then that's your poltergeist. Now...I don't exactly know how to get rid of a poltergeist but I would assume that you burn their belongings and/or bones.

Can you see a poltergeist?

Poltergeists are basically angry spirits or spirits that can have a temper so no, they can't be seen.

You may see a faint shape or maybe a faint fog though!
