"Nightmare!" I yelled but his tentacles shot out and grabbed something. He pulled it closer towards us until it was in plain sight.

"Temmie?" Nightmare said in disbelieve and dropped the creature, unceremoniously, to the ground. She landed with an 'Oof' and got up rubbing her head in pain.

"Are you okay?" I kneeled down and asked the Temmie. She looked up at me in shock and slight fear.

"H-How did you do t-that?" She asked randomly. I gave a confused look.

"What are yo-"

"DON'T PLAY DUMB WITH ME!" She yelled cutting me off. I jumped back in shock causing Nightmare to glare at the small cat.. dog... thing. She backed off and looked in the direction of Nightmare, but clearly couldn't see him, she turned back to me. "I-Is there someone with you?" She almost whispered.

I glanced at Nightmare who shook his head 'No'. "No, only you and me, why?" I asked in the most believable way possible. Temmie gave me a suspicious eye, but accepted it.

"J-Just wondering." She said and looked down. I smiled softly at the poor creature and pet her head. She looked up at me surprised.

"Would you like to accompany me on my journey? It will get lonely without a friend." I offered, I could see Nightmare looking at me shocked, but ignored him and kept eye contact with Temmie.

"A-Are you serious?" She asked hopeful, I nodded with my soft smile. Tears pricked the corner of Temmie's eyes as she jumped into my arms. "Yes! Please, take me with you! I don't want to be alone!" She said crying into my arms.

"Shhh, Shhh," I shooshed, "It's alright." I said calming the dog.. cat..... I'm going to go with dog, down.

We sat there for what felt about 10 minutes until Temmie finally calmed down and fell asleep. I looked up to Nightmare who seemed to be sleeping as well. His right arm supported his head as he leaned on it, His eyesockets were closed peacefully, some light blue drool was dripping out of his mouth, and he was snoring softly. I giggled at how cute it was. This seemed to stir him as he grumbled and moved his hand causing his skull to fall.

"I'm up!" He yelled as his skull shot up to prevent falling. He looked around frantically until his eyelights stopped on me as I had a hand over my mouth to keep from laughing to loudly. He blushed very brightly. "S-Sorry, I must've fell asleep." He said scratching the back of his head. I finally calmed down and wiped a tear from my face.

"It's fine, come on I think it's best we continue." I said getting up. I reached a hand out to Nightmare, which he gladly took and I hoisted him up. I kept his hand in mine as I continued down towards the door. "Can you..?" I trailed off and Nightmare nodded. His tentacles came from behind him and pushed the door open. We were met with a blast of cold wind and continued into the..

"Snow?" I asked looking at the ground beneath me. It was snow, but had a slight grey tint to it. I looked at it confused.

"It is snow, but it's mixed with dust.. monster dust." Nightmare said making me look at him.

"Monster dust?" I said confused.

"I-I'll tell you about it later." He said and started walking. I followed behind silently when I remembered something.

"Hey, Asgore said that I would have to give up my SOUL to safe the underground, is that true?" I asked looking at the ground. I didn't notice Nightmare had stopped until I bumped into him. "S-" He cut me off by hugging me.

"No, there's another way, I just didn't want to scare you. I'm sorry." He said into my ear. I smiled softly and hugged back with one arm.

"It's okay, I forgive you." I whispered back and we released each other. We looked into each other's eyes, smiling. We didn't realize it, but we were also leaning towards eachother slowly. Almost into a kiss. We were just about there.....

I was thrown into the snow as something whizzed between me and Nightmare. It looked like a sharp bone. I looked to see Nightmare staring in the direction we were going, wide eyed. I looked as well to see...

Him?

It.. kind of looked like Nightmare, just actual bone in some type of black armor, red gloves, boots, and even a red scarf to match. What didn't match were his baby blue eyes that seemed to be glaring straight at me. He also seemed to have teeth and even had a scar that went down his left eyesocket. In his hand he held a lease.

Connected to the lease was a taller skeleton who donned a red leather collar with studs. He wore a black jacket with feathered tuft on the hood, under it a red sweater, what looked like red khaki'ed pants, and was smoking a cigarette. Unlike the smaller skeleton his eyes were red. He looked down to the smaller skeleton with a lazy grin.

"You seemed to have missed m'lord." He said taking his cigarette out to puff out the smoke, and put it back in it's place. The smaller skeleton's eyesocket twitched as he glared back up at the taller one.

"I NOTICED." He said angrily and turned his attention back to me. "HUMAN! STAND STILL SO THAT I, THE DEVIOUS SANS, MAY KILL YOU AND TAKE YOUR SOUL!" He said summoning more bones. My eyes widened in fear as they shot towards me. I shut my eyes tight waiting for them to hit.

"WHAT THE HELL!?" I heard 'Sans' Yell. I opened one eye to see nightmare in front of me, his eye blazing and a dragon skull summoned in front of him. It dissapeared to where I could see the two new skeletons. "PAPYRUS WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?" Sans yelled to his brother 'Papyrus', who stared at me in shock.

"I-I don't k-know m'lord." Papyrus stammered.

"USELESS WELP! DO SOMETHING!" Sans yanked the leash causing Papyrus to fall over.

"Come on!" I heard Nightmare say, getting me out of my trance, and helping me up. He grabbed my arm and pulled me into the woods. Cursing, bones, and footsteps followed after us.

AND THE CHASE BEGINS!!! Now if you're wondering what Swapfell Sans, and Paps personalities are like. Well.. Pap is an arrogant sassy asshat and Sans is a pretty much like Fell Pap, but is slightly childish. Also I am going to give Sans a nickname as to not confuse people, i'm thinking raspberry, I dunno -shrug- you can give me suggestions if you want =3=.. ANYHOO!! I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS CHAPTER AND THE STORY SO FAR!
