After the mess of Blue, Orange, and Garnet coming into the Safe-Void, they now became regular visitors. Blue figured out ways to portal into the Safe-Void along with Orange learning for the most part but still being lazy. Gemini seemed to adore the fact she got more visitors with Blue becoming a babysitter if either Error or Fresh were too busy. Geno could look after her but he was usually followed by Reaper of which Geno didn't want the birdbrain to touch his niece.

Honestly, looking back at everything, Error knew his life was turning for the better than being truly a destroyer. While yes, he did destroy but it was truly for the fact that some AU's were either too sickening to where everyone agreed for its destruction or it was too far gone to be safe. Though, Ink not showing up has put Error on edge. Ink likely saw that Error was not totally destroying everything so he either left him alone or was distracted by something else.

Error shook his head as he looked around to see that AU dissolving into a white he knew all too well. Shrugging he teleported to a random AU to escape the annihilation but blinked as he saw the all-consuming white. A frown appeared on his mouth as he opened the codes to look through them to blink as he saw that it was an AU yet not at the same time. The codes seemed to be trying to form again yet also dissolving. He hummed idly as he idly looked at the codes to see the residents in the codes but blocked.

"Okay, I see the Papyrus, Toriel, Frisk, Asgore, Asriel, Grillby, Muffet, Undyne, Alphys, MK, and the local monsters. Looks like there was a firewall that saved their souls but their bodies are gone for the moment. If I could just find the Sans and Chara maybe I can gather a solution...."

Error hummed as he looked at the firewall. Looks like the Creator was careful enough to include a firewall to save the monsters along with Frisk but the other humans are long gone. If Error can get into the firewall along with getting some help from the codes, they can come back into existence. Error wonder if they would like his Safe-Zone, Gemini liked social interaction unlike him.

"Hmm?"

Error blinked as he looked at the codes again then rubbed his skeletal chin slightly.

"Why are the codes saying that the Gaster is out of the AU? Hmm, looking into that later."

"What do you mean Gaster is still alive?"

Error jolted slightly as he looked behind himself to see the local Sans with the Chara floating behind him in ghost form. The Sans had a red and white eye light with a red mark under the red eye light while wearing a black and white fluffy outfit. Chara also looked black and white while being mostly white. Error rose a brow at them as he desummoned the screen as he looked at them.

"So, you are the local Sans and Chara it seems. And like I said before, Gaster is out of the AU and alive. Must have had a failsafe in place as the codes seem to glitch when trying to track him. Well, since you're here, can I look at your codes for the moment? This will just take a moment."

Both the Sans and Chara looked at themselves with Chara nodding then they looked at him.

"We heard what you said earlier, can you really bring them back?"

Error could easily see the hope but it was fragile of which he worded it carefully.

"Their souls are behind a firewall which was a failsafe to keep anyone safe as the AU had an unexpected end. They have no bodies but if I look at your codes then I may find the codes to bring them back into their own bodies. I can't bring the AU back as the AU itself is in a constant state of dying and reforming. Getting the individuals back is guaranteed but the AU is completely wrecked for me to do anything."

The hope grew more of which they answered him.

"We just want the people back anyway. The AU could rot as we have no value for it."

Error nodded as he summoned their codes which he looked at them then carefully looked through them as he saw that their souls were locked together to save themselves along with trying to keep themselves alive. Error noted to find a way to help them as he looked through the codes then found the solution for the souls behind the firewall. He snapped his fingers as he summoned the screen from before while putting it beside the other screen. He compared them of which he nodded as he unsummoned them.

"So?"

Error looked at them as he saw them look at him eagerly. 

"Good news is that I can do it but it will take me hours at most as this delicate work. I can also work at it from the Safe-Void so you will be okay."

"Safe-Void?"

"Look, your AU is turning into an Anti-Void and a dangerous one at that thanks to high amounts of negative or bad intents. Now, these intents then turn certain parts of this Anti-Void into a dangerous situation as you can find yourself losing your sanity and being corrupted into something else."

The Sans looked shaken by this with the Chara looking at Error with narrowed eyes. The Chara then whispered to the Sans of which he looked at the other with questionable eye lights.

"How do you know this?"

Error felt his face frown as regret piled up in his soul. He looked elsewhere for the moment then looked back at them.

"Because I was in one of those places and became this. The only reason I still lived was thanks to the high amounts of DETERMINATION in my soul. If I didn't have that then I would have been stuck and perished with no one none the wiser. I only gained back my own sanity years back but I still have my moments."

Error saw that the Sans and Chara were sympathetic which he ignored as he summoned a portal to the Safe-Void.

"Also, what do you both want to be called? And yes I can see Chara floating behind you."

That seemed to make them both shocked but they got over it quickly.

"Call me Cross and Chara is called X."

"Alright. Come on, I believe you want to see them again don't ya?"

Cross couldn't believe what is happening. He was stuck in that white void for who knows how long while Chara was their mocking on every attempt to leave. Then Ink showed up while showing him how to draw and talking about the other AUs. Chara never trusted Ink and Cross understood as something about the other made the side of his soul lean away from Ink. Then he started to talk about the skeleton that wasn't as normal as the others.

Ink went on of how the other was deep into insanity while always destroying AU's and timelines the moment he went out of his area that was white as his own. Ink always spoke of how the other was black with colors of red, yellow, blue, and sometimes white thrown into the mix. Ink always spoke of how contradicting the other was which made Cross wonder what this skeleton was like. Then they told them his name which made some sense to him. They were called Error, Destroyer of AU's.

Though with the way Ink always spoke of the other, Cross wondered if Ink saw the other as something else. It wasn't clear but Ink always gained this pinkish tint in one of their eye lights if talking about Error with most of the coloring being yellow or orange with the symbols being all over the place but circles, diamonds, souls, and a target. It was odd for both him and Chara which made them wonder what the other really thought of the other.

It was after he left that Cross heard a portal open behind him which they looked to see a black skeleton with blue tear markings stepping out of a portal. Cross and Chara knew instantly this was Error as Ink was very detailed in what they looked like along with showing remarkable drawings of them. They stayed out of sight as Error seemed to look around before summoning some kind of screen.

It made their mind spin as the screen was just loads of numbers and symbols that he couldn't understand with Chara also looking uncertain of it. Error seemed to hum at the screen then talked out loud.

"Okay, I see the Papyrus, Toriel, Frisk, Asgore, Asriel, Grillby, Muffet, Undyne, Alphys, MK, and the local monsters. Looks like there was a firewall that saved their souls but their bodies are gone for the moment. If I could just find the Sans and Chara maybe I can gather a solution...."

What he said made both him and Chara freeze. Was what he said true? Chara looked very uncertain of this and Cross was also in the lead with that of which they stayed hidden as Error seemed to spot something else while confusion lit up upon their skull.

"Why are the codes saying that the Gaster is out of the AU? Hmm, looking into that later."

That sentence made them freeze. Gaster was out of the AU? So, he was still alive!?!?!?!?! That made them decide to show themselves to the Destroyer of AU's.

It was a whirlwind as questions popped up from the words that spilled from them. Safe-Void? Insanity? Corruption? By the stars, they got some answers but questions still plagued them. And once they stepped through the portal did they see a beautiful forest with butterflies and animals roaming around. Many of the animals walked or hopped to Error which he petted them or smiled at them which made Cross smile at the clearly domestic scene.

"Papa!!!!!"

Cross quickly looked to see a baby bone running up to the infamous destroyer. Their bone coloring was unique which just by looking at them Cross remembered some drawings of the moon or pictures. Their eye lights were as if the cosmos came to life with markings dripping from them in the same fashion. The tip of their phalanges was also dipped in the cosmos which made Cross wonder how this beautiful bundle came to be. Their clothing was space deemed with a pun on the shirt with little stars twinkling on the shorts.

Error picked them up happily which Cross can finally see how the other may have got out of their insanity. They were given the chance at parenthood which made Cross finally know that Error, the Destroyer of AU's, was changing for the better.

"Now,"

Cross stiffened as Chara continued to look at the baby bones of which the baby bones smiled at Chara and waved at them. Chara looked to be struck by something as they clutched their chest.

"Why don't we get your friends and family back?"

Cross smiled while X laughed in joy.

They were getting another chance it seemed.
