It would take a long while for Zane to fully change back, and even longer for him to adjust to life as his old self again. On instinct he would attempt to use his ice breath, only to awkwardly remember he was no longer a dragon and use his element the regular way again. His tail was still a bit of a problem as it kept tearing apart his pants or slapping against whoever was too close, although Zane did enjoy flying around with Lloyd and Wu. "I suppose becoming a complete nindroid again can wait." He chuckled to himself.

"I'm not sure, Jay is still complaining about the tail indents in his new mech." Pixal giggled, although she had to admit she loved it whrn her boyfriend's tail curled up around her waist as they slept together. "Although I wouldn't get too used to flying if I were you, you could lose your wings in mid-flight one day."

"Aw well, when that happens I can just add wings to my next upgrade." Zane purred, giving his wings a flap. His smile didn't last however. "Pixal, how did you know where to find me? What happened here? It looks like I've only been gone for a week when I spent sixty years in the Never Realm."

She looked down, not knowing how to explain everything. But she knew he had a right to know. "After you were banished, Aspheera was immediately arrested. When Wu went to interrogate her she told us where you went. She mentioned something about the scroll having a touch of the time element, I'm guessing it also sent you back in time. You were only gone for four days... At least to us you were."

The ice ninja had a lot to take in, but to Pixal's surprise, he pulled her into a hug and kissed her. "There is one upside, Vex will finally be imprisoned without hurting anyone ever again. And especially not manipulating anyone into being his pawn."

Pixal softly smiled, returning Zane's kiss. "That is true, and Aspheera would be glad to have a new cell mate." She added. "Mm, once you're fully you again let's go out together? I could ask my father to give us reservations at the fanciest restaurant in the city."

"Mm, oh Pixal. I'd go anywhere with you, just as long as we're together. But for now let's just sleep. I still miss being in an actual bed." And so the droids snuggled up close together, covered up by a thick duvet to keep them both warm. "I'm now certain I won't reawaken back in that frozen cell, awaiting orders. Um, you don't mind if I cuddle you every night, do you?"

"Of course not, in fact I love it too. As long as you don't sneeze frost in your sleep anyways." Pixal joked, only to be met with a pillow in the face. "Hey! Aw, I can't stay mad at you. I love you Zane."

"I love you too."
