"Oh! Beomgyu! Can you throw this trash?"

I almost rolled my eyes and looked back at that old woman above my apartment, "Why can't you just do that?" I asked her dropping honorifics.

"W-what? Hey! You rascal—"

"I'm the one who always throw your trash every morning and you don't even pay me. That's not my job, if you want me to throw every trash of yours at least pay me even 50, tsk." I whined then totally walked out from her.

That woman always gambles, fight with his husband and has a rebel kid. See what happens if your parents aren't role models?

So don't ask why a kid prefers to be with their friends and start asking why they don't want to be at home because first of all, it's not even a place that deserves to be called home.

I plugged my earphones and started playing music while riding to school. It's not that far from here but you still need bus, good thing I have this old bike with me.

I parked my bike and locked it then started walking. Some of the students especially girls are smiling at me so I smiled at them back.

I'm not that famous but a lot of students knew me because of my part time job. I went inside our classroom and Jay immediately approaches me.

"Hey! Beomgyu."

"Oh?"

"I'm going to confess today." He stated.

"Really?" I asked him, "That's good HAHAHAHA I hope you won’t cry at the end HAHAHAH."

"I like you." He said.

I scratched the back of my head and look at him, "That's too cold, can you even make some efforts?" I asked him.

He snaps his fingers, "Right! What should I say??" He asked me.

"Wait... But I saw Bo Ra earlier. She's with her ex? I think? I'm not really sure..." I said according to what I've seen.

"WHAT!?"

"Hey Jay! Keep it down!" Someone studying yelled at him.

"Shhh!"  I added while laughing at him.

"But— hey, you really did see her? Wait let me check her. That woman!" He shouted again then he ran.

I just laughed at him then rest my chin on my palm and looked outside the window. There I saw him talking to his only friend and laughing with him. I smiled unconsciously while looking at him then the teacher arrived so I need to take my eyes away from him.

I listened and jot down some notes that can help me. I'm not a studious one but I'm trying to be so that my grandma will be proud of me as she raised a kid who's successful.

Lunch time and I don't have the money to pay for food expenses so I'm always eating sandwich or other foods from iCart and eat it outside the room.

I sat down in one of the bench in front of our school field and started eating. There are some students who are playing on the field and some are also eating packed lunch.

Jay and I aren't that really close friends. I mean, yes we are friends but we're not that close? Hahaah how should I even put this?

"Hello~~~"

I looked at the girl who greeted me and she's smiling at me. "Oh yeah, hello... Why?" I asked her.

"Can I sit beside you?" She asked.

"Yeah sure..." I replied while smiling and moved a bit.

"Thank you hahahaha. Uh, I'm Park Mina. You're Beomgyu right?" She asked.

"Ahh yeah... Nice to meet you Mina..." I replied coldly.

"Hahahah... I always see you eating here alone so I hope you don't mind that I'm here."

"Ahhh... Of course not, it’s good eating with someone hahaha." I said while chuckling a little.

"Mmm right... You see I'm your mom's—"

"I know."  I cut her off then sip on my grape juice, "I know it... So, why?" I asked her still in my calm voice.

"She's going back..." She answered.

"Do... Do I look like I care about it?" I asked her that made her shock. "I don't care as long as she won't bother me... Or my grandma." I replied and stood up.

"But Beomgyu—"

"Mina... I don't have parents anymore. I only have myself and my grandma. So please, stop it." I remind her and leave her alone.

She's my cousin and my mom's living in the same house with her but I don't care about it anymore. She lives where she wanted to live. I don't know her anymore.

And that pisses me off until the end of class and till I reached iCart. I wore the uniform and I heard some costumer came in but I am kinda busy because I'm arranging some items below then I heard Jay's voice.

"Beomgyu, come here!" He shouted.

"Yes wait a sec." I replied then stood up.

My eyes widen when I saw who’s with him. I blinked thrice when I saw who's with him. I immediately fix myself and headed towards them with my best smile.

He's here.

"Oh Beomgyu! We met at the road earlier so we decided to talk here. You know him right?" Jay asked me.

I smiled and look at the one he’s referring to, "Yeah... I'm Choi Beomgyu." I introduced myself and bowed a little.

"Ahhh... Choi Soobin." He said, "I didn't know you're working in here hahaha." He chuckled that made me almost fall from where I am standing.

"Yeah hahahah..." I giggled then the next thing I knew I'm just staring at him and he's also looking at me.

"Ahhh... Why?" He asked.

"Ah! Yeah, uh... I work here hahaha. You two have a game?" I asked them.

"Yes, tonight! Your friend is coming too right?" Jay asked Soobin-hyung.

"Friend?" I asked him because I might know who that is and beside he has only one friend.

"Umm, he's coming but he's going to be a bit late." Soobin-hyung answered.

"Ahhh, then let's wait for him here— OH! KIM BO RA!" He shouted out of nowhere then he stood up.

Soobin-hyung and I both looked at him, "Wait, Soobin let's just meet at the cafe later. I need to talk to that girl." Then he rushed towards the door and started running.

"Hahahah what's with him?" I heard Soobin-hyung laugh.

I sat where Jay was earlier, "He likes Kim Bora since then but he don't have the chance to confess." I mentioned.

"Really? Ohh... That's hard then." Soobin-hyung commented.

I nodded, "Mmm... So hard."

"What's with that tone? Hahaha are you in the same situation with him?" He asked out of nowhere. He isn't a slow witted.

"Hahaha nope, I mean just thinking about it makes me sad already ahaha." I laughed after denying.

"Aww hahahah yeah it's really hard of course. Waah... It's really raining? I don't have umbrella." He said while looking outside.

I also glanced outside and it's really raining. I stood up and he looked at me, "I can lend you my umbrella." I stated and went to where my bag is.

"Really? Hahhaah thank you. You're too kind, you know that? We just met hahaha." He laughed as he headed to me.

"Hahahha kind? I'm not that kind tho hahaha. Here." Then I gave it to him.

He reached it, "Thank you..." He said then smiled at me making his dimple visible.

I also smiled then something captured my eye. He's running towards the store, "Is that your friend?" I asked him.

"Ahh yeah he's finally here hahahah, wait a second." He said and meets the guy who just arrived, soaking wet.

"Ahhhh why rain out of sudden? Geez!" That guy who just arrived complained.

"Hahaha you're right. Are you okay? You might catch cold. I don't want that." I heard Soobin hyung said full of concern to his friend like he's talking to a kid and checking him.

That kinda made me hurt a little.

"I never thought it's going to rain today too hahahaha. Ahh Beomgyu..." He said while looking at me.

"Mmm?"

"This is Huening Kai, Huening this is Beomgyu." Soobin-hyung introduced his friend.

I bowed a little, "Hello Huening, I'm Choi Beomgyu."

"Oh hello, I'm Huening hahaha..." He chuckled then offered his hand so I gladly accept it and it's so warm just like how his smile is.

"Then Beomgyu, we'll be going now. Thank you for this." He said referring to the umbrella.

"Oh sure hahaha."

"I'll wait outside..." Heuning said while Soobin-hyung is trying to open the umbrella.

"Okay... Wait, why this is... Argh..." Soobin-hyung is struggling to open it.

I laughed a little and gently grab it from him, "Let me hahaha..." I easily opened it that made him shock a bit that's why I smiled even wider, "Here..." I offered.

My smile suddenly fades when he touched my hand where I'm holding the umbrella. My heart started to beat abnormally and the fact that he's also smiling at me.

"Thank you, Beomgyu hahahaha." He chuckled.

"Ahh... Yeah hahaha..." I also laugh nervously before taking my hands off the umbrella.

"We're going now... See you around!" He said while bidding his goodbye and waving his hand at me.

I smiled and also waved my hand, "Yeah... See you..."

He smiled and then he left with his friend Huening. I smiled abnormally and started giggling like a kid. I'm screaming in my mind while biting my lips.

"Excuse me?"

I turned around and I saw a costumer waiting in the counter, "Ahh sorry..." I apologized and erased my smile.

And now I can't stop smiling like a dork. This is one of the best things that happened in my life. I never knew I can still smile like this hahahaha.

So this is what butterflies in your stomach feels like and only Soobin-hyung can make me feel it.

I'm still smiling after I closed the store and then I realized that I don't have any umbrella to use but still Soobin-hyung is the one who used it so it's fine, right?

I get on my bike and started pedaling till I reach my apartment and changed clothes. I ate instant ramyeon and check my phone if there are message from the hospital but there's none, so I'm good.

After I ate and prepare myself to sleep, I glanced at the calendar and sighed, "I need to take my grandma out of the hospital before this month ends. Argh, where the hell am I going to get the money?"

I just shook my head and turned off the lights before I go to bed. Then I found myself smiling again after what happened earlier.

"Ahhhh I think I have gone mad already... Beomgyu, wake up. He can't like you, okay? Hahaha."
