JOLIE UNSER the oldest daughter of Wayne and Della Unser hated the small town she grew up in. She hated being known as the Chief of Police's daughter, but mostly she hated being the oldest daughter.

Growing up Jolie had your typical upbringing, both of her parents worked long hours so it fell on her to watch her younger sister whenever their parents weren't around. Jolie didn't always mind watching Erin, but there was a lot of times she missed out on being able to do stuff with friends, and the few times she said complained to her mother about it , Della Unser was quick to remind the teenager that her and her husbands money provided for Jolie and she should be thankful.

Jolie would roll her eyes and remind herself that soon she'd be able to leave this town and live her own life. Which is exactly what she did once she graduated from college with her nursing degree. She made sure to apply to the farthest hospital hiring available— New York City.

Jolie quickly made a life for herself in the city, making close friends and enjoying life, but with one late night phone call from her mother everything is about to change.
