One Shot

"So I got you something super special for today..." your mom starts off with an excited grin and you laugh.

You face her with a sigh "Mom! I told you you didn't need to do anything grand today it's just a birthday" you say with a smile and huff in amusement, making your mom pout teasingly.

"...well okay then, I guess I'll just have to donate this BTS concert ticket to someone who wants it then..." she responds with a shrug and waves the piece of paper in her hand, making you cough, choking on your saliva.

"W-what did you say?" You whisper incredulously and your mom shoots you a smug look.

"Hmm? What? Oh! You mean THE tickets? The one and only tickets you've been begging me years for? And not only that, but also in the VIP seating section?" Your mom questions with a haughty laugh.

"You didn't..." you mutter tentatively, unsure of whether or not this was a joke but she flicks her hair cockily.

"Oh yes I did~" she retorts back with a singsong tone and a crazily proud expression.

You stood there flabbergasted as you tried to take it all in.

Her smile softens at your look of awe and she approaches you slowly. "Happy Birthday My Baby" she whispers and pulls you into a hug.

You give her a wobbly laugh. "Thank you so much M-mom..." you whisper back, touched by her surprise, and hug her just as tightly, knowing that you were extremely lucky to have a mother who sacrificed so much for you.

After a couple seconds in the sweet moment, your mom pulls away and waggles her brows. "Now, let's go get something to eat so you can get ready for tonight early" she suggests and you sniffle slightly before nodding and grabbing your things.

You fidget excitedly as you approached the stadium that was holding the concert in amazement.

You couldn't believe this was truly and actually happening right now but you were so determined to have the best night of your life.

So with a wide and enthusiastic grin, you made your way inside, already seeing a lot of other ARMY's hanging around and chatting excitedly.

The stadium had gradually been filling in with more people and after the entire arena was full, the lights dimmed and everyone cheered so loudly, that you felt like the actual venue started shaking.

Of course your voice was part of those screams. You turned your Army Bomb on and stood in total fascination at how beautiful everyone's lights shone in the sea of fans all around you.

It shimmered like stars on a clear night and the mood was so purethat it almost overwhelmed you. Again, you counted yourself extremely lucky that you were able to win this opportunity thanks to one hardworking mother of yours.

The large screen started playing short clips of the members and you shook yourself out of your thoughts before screaming excitedly.

"여러분!!!!! 오늘밤이 재미있죠?! (EVERYONE!!! Tonight is fun right?!")" Jimin shouts into his microphone the moment they finished performing 불타오르네 (Fire), while panting lightly.

The cheer that roared throughout the stadium left your ears ringing for a couple of seconds, but you were having so much fun that you didn't care.

You felt so much adrenaline flow through you after that invigorating performance and you were smiling so widely that your cheeks were starting to ache from the prolonged use of the muscles.

"So guys! We have one last performance for ya'll before our special gift so cheer us on okay??" Joon shouts in English and everyone gives shouts of affirmation.

The boys then showered you all with flying kisses and winks before all the lights switched off.

On the first tune of 뱁새 (Baepsae), the audience went crazy and your jaw dropped because you weren't sure you'd survive this performance especially with you having the best view.

"...빨리 chase 'em 금수저로 태어난 내 선생님"

Everyone sang the last verse of the song together, ending the concert beautifully.

You smiled giddily, so happy that your dream had now come true and that you had so much things to tell your mom about when you got back home.

"여러분!! 잠깐만요~ 아까 우리가 너위해서 놀라움을 가지고있고 말했어! (Guys!! Wait~ I told you earlier that we had a surprise!)" Jimin said cheekily and you cheered, pumped that there might probably be an encore performance.

"Talk about the best birthday..." you thought with a giggle.

"응 맞아! 오늘은 우리아미의 "Y/N씨" 생일이에요 그래서  Y/N 씨가 어디에서 있어? (That's right! Today is our Army,  Y/N's birthday and so where is she?)" Hobi asks while looking around the stadium and jumping up and down.

Your smile dropped when you heard your name being called out. "What?..." you thought, probably mishearing what they said but one of the body guards who was holding a photo, gestured you to come forward.

"B-but..." you protested weakly as you were whisked away.

Suddenly you stood in the stage in front of thousands of other fans like you, caught off guard with wide eyes.

"우와! 일루와봐! (Wow! Come here!)" Jin gestured exaggeratedly towards him and Kook reached behind to grab a chair for you to sit in.

"Wait...this is...this is..." you trailed off worriedly and they laugh at each other while turning to the audience.

"Guys, I think Y/N is having some stage fright. Can we cheer our birthday girl on?" Namjoon asks with a grin and it was followed by a chorus of chants reciting your name.

You were still in shock, but managed to get yourself to shuffle in their directions.

Taehyung held his hands out for you with a warm smile, and tentatively you grabbed onto it.

Suddenly you were twirled around and when he finally stopped you laughed, not expecting that at all.

He looked at you proudly. "There. Now we have a smile" he mumbled with a smirk and you flush brightly but chuckle regardless.

Before you took a seat, your eyes softened and you looked at the 7 before mumbling a genuine "Thank you..." to which they all paused to and smiled at.

"Birthdays are special you know so it's our pleasure...Tell us, is there one song you want us to sing for you?" Yoongi asked while crouching down in front of you and you stopped to think for a second.

You snapped your fingers. "...there is one..." you trailed off shyly and they all gave each other knowing smiles when you whispered it to them.

The lights dimmed and a spotlight hit all 8 of you on stage before the soundtrack started.

"하루만 내게 시간이 있다면
달콤한 니 향기에 취해서
곤히 난 잠들고파
빡빡한 스케줄 사이에 기회가 있다면..." Yoongi began, rapping to the lyrics of 하루만 (Just One Day) while pretending to serenade you.

You honestly felt like you were going to die by how overwhelmed you were but thankfully you kept your cool.

It continued, with each member taking turns on their part and you knew you were now tearing up slightly.

The last chorus was sung by Kook and Chim, the former breaking out into a cute dance and Chim approaching you with such a bright smile that you returned back with equal fervor.

He reached out to you and pulled you into a hug, making the audience cheer immensely.

Finally, the last line was sung by Namjoon who wrapped his arms around your shoulder, signaling the end.

Afterwards, the 7 gathered up in a circle and ruffled your hair happily and you tried to quickly wipe away your tears before they noticed.

"제가 너때문에 행복해서 고마워요...(It's because of you that I'm really happy so thank you...)" you said between each sniffle and they 'aww' at you with a chuckle.

Suddenly Hobi reaches out for your phone and despite being confused, you slowly hand it to him.

Immediately he slides to camera mode and holds it up for a group selfie.

"...하나...들...셋! (1, 2, 3!)" he shouts loudly and snaps the shot.

Another memory for you to keep from tonight and you smiled more at that.

The 6 members then push a flustered Jimin forward and pull out their phones now.

You stare at them in confusion.

Jimin clears his throat and then opens his mouth.

"생일축하합니다..." he starts singing and your jaw drops.

He was singing Happy Birthday to you...the one man you had dreamed of once being able to see from afar was now SINGING to YOU in front of thousands of people. Just Chim...

You didn't hold back the tears anymore as you laughed incredulously.
